Ch.238 - Fire Dragon Soul & Ice Dragon Soul
Jin Long recounts a time when he was still alive in the time of war between mankind and the Black Dragon.

With the formation arrays they made in every corner of the small dimensional realm, the two of them were able to keep an eye on every single event within this small dimension.
Jin Long and Chi Rong saw that there were several suitable candidates to inherit their abilities, but there were only three of them with the most potential, namely Xiang Yang, Han Shizu and Yun Ying.
However since the ones who arrived first in the main region of the sect were Xiang Yang and Yun Ying, the two of them also decided to directly open the array, making the cultivators able to enter.
Finally Xiang Yang and Yun Ying entered the secret room and what had happened before.
"In that way, you two can get a legacy from us!" Chi Rong closed their quite long story.

Both creatures have long bodies like snakes, have different colors that are bright red and bluish white.

Yun Ying himself was already in a sitting position cross-legged and eyes closed, trying to fuse with the Ice Dragon's soul.
"I must hurry or my dantian can be destroyed!" Xiang Yang sat down cross-legged then took out a resource with an ice attribute.
Xiang Yang took out an Ice Crystal Core and ate a tier 7 pill.
This Xiang Yang did because the soul of the Fire Dragon had Yang element, he would not be able to fuse with the soul of the Fire Dragon while he had Yin-Yang spiritual root.
Unless he could compensate for the Yang element in the Fire Dragon soul using other resources with the Yin element, then he could fuse with the Fire Dragon soul.
That was why Xiang Yang took out a resource with an ice attribute that had a concentrated Yin element.
If Xiang Yang was not quick to do so then the Yang element at his spiritual root would devour the Yin element, cause damage to the spiritual root, or could even make his Dantian disintegrate.
