Ch.17 - The Story of the Golden Dragon

Xiang Yang was surprised to hear that, even after being able to cultivate, he still had other problems due to the spiritual roots he had.

The Golden Dragon also tells if he had previously died once because of something and reincarnated in the current Xiang Yang world, the Mortal Realm.

There are 3 realms in the universe, namely the Hell Realm or commonly called the Underworld, the Mortal Realm which consists of many worlds, and the last one is the Heavenly Realm.
After reincarnating into the Mortal Realm, the Golden Dragon continued to cultivate until he reached the peak of cultivation of the Mortal Realm, only a step away from ascending to the Heavenly Realm.
However in order to ascend to the Heavenly Realm an individual must eliminate the dark side within him first.
At that moment the Golden Dragon was fighting all-out against the dark side within him, until he unleashed the strongest technique that destroyed his dark side.
After that the Golden Dragon ascended to the Heavenly Realm.
But one thing the Golden Dragon did not realize was that its dark side was actually not destroyed, but out of its body into the real world.
The Golden Dragon did not expect this because its dark side only embodied the will energy or desire energy within itself, should the dark side not be able to come out of the body of an individual.
The dark side that came out from the Golden Dragon's body had no definite shape, only a formless lump of energy. But still it was his dark side, having all his knowledge and experience in life.
It happened about 1 million years ago.
The dark side of the Golden Dragon continued to gather strength by possessing the human body, killing humans and absorbing its soul to continue to grow stronger.
Until hundreds of thousands of years passed by the dark side of the Golden Dragon can form its true body, which certainly has the body of a dragon, but not a golden dragon, but a black dragon.
Just then chaos ensued in the current world of Xiang Yang as a result of the Black Dragon, a war broke out between the Black Dragon army and the humans.
The war happened even long before the Black Dragon gained its true form.
It ends with the victory of the humans.
But humans are very careless by not destroying the body of the Black Dragon, leaving it intact because they think the Black Dragon is dead, because there is no more breath or heartbeat, even the soul has been destroyed.
Actually the Black Dragon was still alive, at the last moment he sealed a small part of his soul until it survived until now.
And now the Golden Dragon can feel if the Black Dragon will restart its resurrection.
If that happened then the world where Xiang Yang would return to was in chaos.
