Is Shaykh Ammar Bugis, a paralyzed man of Makassar blood who was born in the United States, October 22, 1986.

Bugis name is taken from the name of his great-grandfather who came from Sulawesi, Sheikh Abdul Muttalib Bugis. He emigrated from Sulawesi to Mecca and taught Tafsir at the Grand Mosque.

Shaykh Ammar was completely paralyzed from the age of 2 months, only his eyes and mouth are still functioning, although his tone is somewhat unclear. It all does not diminish his passion for life and meaning.

Sheikh Ammar, who was born in the United States since birth, is already disabled. No limb can be moved except the mouth and eyes.

The American doctor himself at the time of his birth even said that most babies (he) can live up to the age of 8 years. But over Qudratullah as well, until old as he is still alive even superior to our lives are not physically disabled.

Disability does not prevent him from studying and attending school until college and achieving the title of Professor. Since the age of 11 years have started memorizing the Quran and when 13 years have memorized the Quran 30 Juz. Surely this is an advantage that is very rarely owned by children today.

In addition, when at the University was able to achieve the highest score (cumlaude) in the department of broadcasting and communication. He is also a lecturer at universities in the US and Dubai.

The interesting thing is that he has a child who is now 14 years old. Subhanallah! What a noble woman who wants and wants to worship him.

Starting his advice in front of the lecturers and students of LIPIA Jakarta, Sheikh Ammar commented on a saying that the sense of the survivor is only in a healthy body, according to him this is not appropriate.

“For all this time we hear the saying that the safe sense is in a healthy body, when it should be that the only safe sense is in a healthy heart,” Ammar said beginning his advice.

This, said Ammar, is contained in the hadith “If a piece of meat is good, then all right. Know that it is the heart.

As he recounted his mother's patience and patience in taking care of her and taking care of her so that she was now a hafidz of the Quran, the students present wept bitterly, there were even some lecturers who were loudly berkabir while crying out screams.

Then regret many Muslims who have a perfect physical but his heart is not as perfect as his physical. “Many of us have a perfect physique, but his heart is not in accordance with his physique, “ he said.

He also advised the students to be active in memorizing the Quran and do not be easily discouraged. “Pronounce the Quran, do it with short verses first, I used to do it so, until that time I could memorize one juz in a day,” he said.

Among the messages sent by Shaykh Ammar to worshipers is to fulfill the five pillars of Islam: Witness no god but Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala and Muhammad His apostle, Pray 5 time, pray 5 time, fasting and zakat and taking Hajj to the temple for those who can afford it.

Many enemies of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala who insult the Prophet (recently), then his message is to defend the Prophet by carrying out the Sunnah of the Prophet in the life of household, society, school, office, office, factory and so on. Not by shouting (demonstrations) and violence.

Also use technology in defending the Prophet, through the internet, twiter, facebook and the like. Tell the personal glory of the Prophet through stories and so on.

In women, he advised that he always use a hijab that is in accordance with sharia. Because women are like pearls of high value. If it is easy to see and hold everyone on the streets, it is certainly cheap.

To the male worshipers he advised to do good to the wives, never to berate, beat or humiliate the wives. One that he also emphasized was not to let pilgrims go to sorcerers or shamans. Also to always be grateful for the blessings of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala.

What a flawed state of Shaykh Ammar can be a lesson to us who are physically perfect. He who is disabled alone is able to achieve, then what about us?
