After the death of Sheikhina Maimoen Zubair, Qosidah Sa’duna Fiddunya suddenly went viral. This favorite Qasidah of Mbah Moen is echoed in various assemblies. On Youtube hundreds of people are competing to cover this Qosidah. (my horrors are Nissa Sabyan including one of them)
Since this Qosidah exploded until this second, many thought that this Qosidah was the work of Abuya Sayyid Muhammad Al-Maliki, and I was one of those who had the perasangka. In addition to Mbah Moen, Abuya is indeed one of the popularizers of this Qosidah. This Qosidah is often echoed by Abuya himself on various occasions. Not a few also think that Qosidah Sa'duna is the work of Mbah Maimun himself.
It is undeniable, that there are some verses added by Abuya and Mbah Maimun beyond the original text. This was later explained by Gus Idror Maimun that the addition Mbah Yai got from the Ruhaniah realm. But in fact, this original Qosidah “kerangk” is not a essay by Abuya and Mbah Maimun, This Qosidah was written by a great guardian from Quwairoh (read ‘Guweireh’ with the dialect of Hadhromi people) Hadhramaut, Al-Habib Ahmad Bin Muhammad Al-Muhdhor.
Habib Ahmad is the father of Habib Muhammad Al-Muhdhor Bondowoso, a great guardian mentioned in the books of Habaib that his face bears a resemblance to the noble face of His Majesty the Prophet. Together with Habib Muhammad Bin Idrus Al-Habsy (the favorite disciple of Habib Ali shohibul maulid), Habib Muhammad Al-Muhdhor is buried in the Qubah Ampel, it is a pity if you do not take the time to make a pilgrimage to his tomb - he is located in the middle of this Ampel market.
Back to the history of Habib Ahmad. He is known as a scholar who has an extraordinary bond with the Quran.he had memorized the Quran out of his head before the age of 7 years. Even 30 years before he died, in his grave he managed to destroy the Quran 8000 times. It all started when one day he read the biography of Robi’ah Adawiyah, a female guardian who became an icon of sholehah women to this day. Before his death, Robi’ah Adawiyah dug his own grave. There he usually dholwat, dhikr, remember dead and destroyed the Koran up to 7000 x. Hearing that Habib Ahmad was motivated to finally reach 8000 hataman. When his son asked him why he was doing this, he said:
“I don't want to lose to a woman.. ”
Habib Ahmad is also known to have a great love for Sayyidah Khodijah. He even often gets a special “Madad” from Sayyidah Khodijah. What is so famous is an incident that occurred around the year 1250 H when he settled in Mecca. When Friday Prayer he saw Khotib lengthen the Khutbah and shorten the Prayer, even though the Prophet Muhammad clearly said:
إن طول صلاة الرجل وقصر خطبته مَئِنَّة من فقهه، فأطيلوا الصلاة، وأقصروا الخطبة
After Friday prayers were finished, Habib Ahmad came to Khotib earlier, slapped him and said :
“You have violated sunnah Rasulullah shallallahu ’alaihi wa sallam. !”
The people were excited, the Khotib who was furious told the soldiers to pursue Habib Ahmad, he finally fled to the funeral of Ma’la. When almost the army managed to capture him, suddenly the door of the Qubah Sayyidah Khodijah opened by itself (once above the tomb of Sayyidah Khodijah built a magnificent Qubah which was then destroyed by the Wahhabis). When Habib Ahmad entered, the dome door suddenly closed by itself. The soldiers did everything they could to open the door, but to no avail. Even when they finally managed to open the door with the help of the Qubah's caretaker, it turned out that there was no one inside. Habib Ahmad is like being swallowed by the earth.

Since then he was known as “anak pet” Sayyidah Khodijah, Qosidah-Qasidah his writings never deserted from praise for Ummul Mu’minin Khodijah. (Includes Mbah Moen's favorite Qosidah : Sa’duna Fiddun-ya this). Even every year, in the month of Muharrom, he always held the Haul Sayyidah Khodijah event better known as the “Ihda Asy’ariah” event. Before leaving for Indonesia, Habib Umar always took the time to attend this event.
Habib Ahmad is also known as a humorous figure. One of the unique and funny stories about him was written by Habib Ali Bungur in his book “Taajul Ameras” :
“Habib Ahmad visited the village of Taris Hadhramaut with his infant son, Habib Muhammad Bin Ahmad Al-Muhdhor. Arriving at Taris, Habib Muhammad was very ill, the heat was high. When the situation of the child worsened, Habib Ahmad went on a pilgrimage to the tomb of Habib Hasan Bin Shalih Al-Bahar, a great guardian buried in the village of Taris, he then said;
“Bib.. Ana's son is sick. While ana is now in your area of power. Inget yes bib.. If anything happens to the child ana, ana will come out of the group Habaib and join the Wahhabi group.. ”
Habib Ahmad then went home and found his son had returned to health as usual.
Habib Ahmad has many students who managed to become great scholars, the most famous is Habib Ali Bin Muhammad Al-Habsy Shohibul Maulid. Habib Ahmad died and was buried in Guweireh Hadhramaut in 1304 A. D.

Allah Yarham Habibana Ahmad Al - Muhdhor. Starting from his love for Sayyidah Khodijah which he poured in his compositions, until now he managed to inspire many people (including the lovers of God class Abuya and Mbah Moen) to have a special bond and love for Sayyidah Khodijah.
His Qosidah temples that we still read today are proof that the power of love is a true power, which will never be timeless and never know the word stop..
