These two days, my facebook timeline is crowded with what is called "ijtima ulama". for me it may also be friends that other terms are not to be questioned. because "ijtima" the meaning of gathering, and the complete meaning of "gathering of scholars" is a positive thing.
More specifically, the "collection of scholars" discussed crucial things that touch directly on human life, such as how Islam views the disabled, how Islam views the industrial revolution 4.0, and how Islam views the industrial revolution 4.0, how does Islam view the victims of agrarian conflict whose productive land is deprived, how Islam views the rampant abuse and exploitation of women's bodies and so forth. if the discussion is like this, I am thumbs up. Terrific!
Before going any further, it is important to explain who is a cleric? and what are the conditions of a so-called cleric? term "precious" is the plural/plural form of the root word "alim" which in Indonesian is translated, "people who are experts/understanders/knows". So from this information, Sri Mulyani's mother who is the finance minister is a cleric. because she is a person who knows/experts on economic and financial problems. Steven Hawking, Albert Eisnten, and the Western Scientists are scholars because they are experts, knowers, experts, according to each field.
It's just that, according to al-Imam al-Nawawi, a fakih (fikih expert) of the Shafi'iyah school, the, in his magnum opus Minhaj al-Thalibin mentions that what is meant by scholars are those who have qualifications to the Islamic sciences such as tafsir, hadith, fikih. That'sthat's all. While people who are experts of qiraah, Arabic literature, doctors, kalam scientists are not among the scholars. My teacher KH. Afifuddin Muhajir often explained that the cleric was a person in whom there was deep piety and scholarship (man jama'a bayna al-Khasyah wa al-Fiqh). this conclusion is actually inspired from the Quranic letter of Fathir verse 28.
إِنَّمَا يَخْشَى اللًٰهَ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ العُلَمَآءُ
"Only those who fear Allah are those who are clerics". (QS. Fathir [35]: 28)
The combination of science and piety is a necessity for someone to get the title of ulama. Because a learned person without indecision becomes evil, while an unscientific piety is false. al-Ghazali in Ihya Ulumiddin mentions who increases his knowledge but does not increase his fear, and he is further from his Lord.
Then who in Indonesia has these two qualifications, piety and science.I husnuzzan, Kiai Moh. Zuhri Zaini (she is better known as Kiai Zuhri or Kiai Zuhri Zaini) has this qualification.who is Kiai Zuhri Zaini? she is the nanny of Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo.

Pesantren Nurul Jadid is a large pesantren whose students are more than "7 thousand" people. In fact, maybe this number is very little compared to the actual number.not only is it cool in numbers, this pesantren is also known for its quality. From this pesantren were born, kiai, teachers, lecturers, politicians and people who benefit the country. Nurul Jadid University is a symbol of educational progress in this pesantren.when in age, this pesantren has not reached a century, but by the Ministry of Research and Technology, Pesantren founded by KH. Zaini Mun'im is allowed to manage a prestigious university.
When outside the hatred of the Chinese strengthened, this boarding school every year sent its students there to learn and seek the knowledge of Allah. The ability of the mandarin of the students is just like they are able to speak Indonesian. so it is unheard of from this pesantren, ganyang china, kill china and so on. they continue to be taught that seek knowledge even to the country of China.

Back to the matter of his nanny, Kiai Zuhri Zaini. scientifically he is a person who should not be doubted. Mahfudz MD in a tweet said that in East Java there are two kiai who although not lectured to Arabia and to the west but are able to write scientific papers and books well. The two kiai are Kiai Afifuddin Muhajir Situbondo and Kiai Zuhri Zaini Probolinggo.
In terms of kathajakan, morals and manners are more masyayAllah.he not only read the book of Sufism for the santri. but it is a "laboratory of Sufism" that can be referred to by the santri. its simplicity, but, amazing.he is simple in speech, action and dress.
Try to see when he is giving a speech or giving a lecture, the bearer is flat, calm, cool, simple and does not scream.The intonation is simple and his body is frail, fragile, to deceive his listeners that he was a pious kiai and nurtured a great pesantren.
In terms of action, he is simply God's society.When walking is always down.When resting with others he raises his gaze.then first throw a smile to the other person. this is not his word (qila wa qala), but experienced by myself.
He also taught at Ma'had Aly Situbondo, where I was studying. One time, I was in a hurry to the bathroom, only using the sarongs, t-shirts and towels I was holding, he said, when he just came down from the stairs, he walked from the opposite direction. suddenly he looked at me with a cool gaze and threw a smile. I was like struck by lightning. This is egalitarian header of the sky like this!
One of my seniors once told me, when he wanted to study as usual he waited for him to come out of the lecturer's house, his goal was to bring his book, tikkhel is not necessary, I am strong (the language of madura, the weakening; it is not necessary, I am still strong).
As far as I can see, this Kiai Zuhri if he goes to an invitation or an event, he is not accompanied by anyone, not escorted by khaddam who number in the tens especially until using the parade. Even the driver is always told to wait in the car. Likewise, when he has needs and wants to buy something, he goes alone to Basmalah figures or to other supermarkets without supervision.
in terms of clothing and fashion, no need to be asked again.his clothes are very simple as well.even when compared to my clothes alone, sarongs and clothes kiai lost. moreover, it wants to be compared with the ustaz-ustaz seleb. far away.the clothes commonly used by Kiai Zuhri are white gloves, white cocoa clothes, occasional use of brown and white kopyah. everything is very simple and the price is very cheap.

The house he occupied was so simple and what it was. not in line and comparable to his pesantren buildings are very sharp. maybe Kiai Zuhri understands that the world is a temporary place and the afterlife is a forever goal.let the simple house, the origin of the boarding house where the magnificent generation stands and towers.
Though his breed and lineage included blue blood, his ancestors were connected with the kings of Sumenep through Bhindere Saod. the distance is very close, so to trace the height of his nasab is very easy. but the sublimity of the nasab did not make Kiai Zuhri jumawa and demean other people.
the characteristics of simplicity, both in speech, action and clothing attached to the self of Kiai Zuhri is a sign that he is a cleric. al-Ghazali said:
واعلم ان اللائق بالعالم المتدين ان يكون مطعمه وملبسه ومسكنه وجميع ما يتعلق بمعاشه في دنياه وسطا لا يميل الى الترفه والتنعم.
“Know! that worthy of the name of the cleric is a person whose food, clothing, and shelter and the whole simple worldly life are not luxurious and not excessive in the pleasures of”.
Seeing this Kiai Zuhri Zaini honestly there is a tremendous positive energy and enters the heart of the heart. slaps, innuendos and blows to me that are often haughty and even though they have nothing.
ibn Athail al-Sakandari in al-Hikam once said:
تسبق انوار الحكماء اقوالهم فحيث صار التنوير وصل التعبير
"The light of the bestary sage precedes his words.When the mind is enlightened, their words reach to (the bottom of the heart of his hearers)."
So, whoever you may be a few weeks disappointed because you lost the election, failed to become a member of the legislature or other trivial world problems, take a sowan to Kiai Zuhri Zaini at Pesantren Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo.
Look at how he receives guests, how to serve tea for guests, his genuine smile and when his hands are about to be kissed he immediately took off and pulled it. Who knows by meeting him your stress is gone. if you're still stressed, then me!.

In addition, because I myself is his santri, and my wife happens to be in his court with Nyai Hj. Bisyaroh Shuhud (Her Wife).
Once upon a time, in the dalem there was an event, and all the usual santri help in the dalem, busy. His clothes that should be washed no one can wash. My wife asked me to wash her clothes. And MasyaAllah, his clothes are not branded at all and there are even his sarongs and t-shirts that are torn. Shame on himself with his simplicity.
May Allah bestow upon him his family and all his teachers.
