Dishes From Alam Barzakh to HABIB SHBY Embankment

Habib Sholeh bin Muhsin Al Hamid, was born in the village of Qorbah Ba Karman, Hadramaut, Yemen on 17 Jumadul Ula in 1313 H coincided in 1895 AD. In the Manakib mentioned that the genealogy and nasab Habib Sholeh Bin Muhsin Al Hamid arrived at the Prophet SAW namely, from his grandson Iman Husein bin Ali bin Abi Talib. Based on this lineage, Habib Sholeh Bin Muhsin Al Hamid belongs to the sayyid group. This group is divided into groups with a very large number of members. In the tradition of Arab descent, each group in naming their children is followed by the surname of their former grandfather. On his account, Habib Sholeh bears the surname al-Hamid. His Prophet connected up to Muhammad SAW namely, from the thirty-nine lineage.

Once upon a time, Habib Sholeh bin Muhsin Al-Hamid (also called Habib Tanggul Jember) told Habib Muhammad bin Ali Al-Habsyi (Kwitang) that he will be present on Sunday tomorrow at the Kwitang Council. The news was very sudden on Saturday.

Habib Muhammad Al-Habsyi has always entertained guests who come to visit, especially on Habib Sholeh Tanggul. At that time, Habib Muhammad was not prepared. Finally Habib Muhammad made a pilgrimage to the tomb of his father who was beside the Kwitang Mosque, to complain:

“Ya Walid, tomorrow Sunday there will be a guest, Habib Sholeh from the Embankment. How is this Walid? Supplies are not. Not hold fulus. Please help yes Walid let Allah SWT ease, to ikram duyuf (glorify guests) yes Walid,”. After that Al Habib Muhammad went home to take a nap.

After Habib Muhammad woke up there were guests who had been waiting for him. The guest was a disciple of his father who lived in Tanah Abang. With a special reception, Al Habib Muhammad RA received the guest.

“Ahlan ... how is Mr Haji ? From anywhere, Tumben Saturday to here, there is something I can help ?”.

“Sorry yes Habib, interrupt his break. Here I take a goat from home to Habib,” replied the guest.

Habib Muhammad was astonished for a moment, and immediately said,

“Ajiiib.. Masya Allah you know Ji.”

While tying the goat in the courtyard of the guest said;

“This is what Abah Habib” told me I was sleeping, Habib Ali came in my dream while saying this,”

“Ji, that goat behind you anterin to my son Muhammad in Kwitang. He again needs a goat to host Habib Sholeh from the Embankment. Soon yes Ji, my son is confused looking for a banquet tomorrow,”

Habib Muhammad while shaking his head in amazement said, “Masya Allah.. Rebes already, Syukron ya Ji.”.

The next day on Sunday (Sunday) morning, Habib Muhammad led a routine study in Kwitang. The waiting guests arrived.

Long story short, after the study finished Habib Muhammad invited Habib Sholeh to go to the room that has been prepared. All forms of food were issued, including special kebeli rice with side dishes of goat meat.

Before eating it, Habib Sholeh asked Habib Muhammad while holding Laham (fried goat meat): “Ya Habib Muhammad, where did this come from ? The aroma is amazing not as usual.”

“Yesterday there Pak Haji send this here, yes Habib.” Habib Muhammad replied.

“Not! This is a gift from Ahlul Barzakh, Habib Muhammad. Come bismillah we eat.” said Habib Sholeh.

With a smile, Habib Muhammad invited guests including Habib Sholeh to enjoy the dish and said, “What the heck Habib Sholeh does not know. Don't-don't, even already made a deal with walid Ali.”

The story is retold by Habib Muhammad in the celebration of Maulid in Kwitang. The pilgrims’ah amazed to hear this story, as well as laughing amazement over the caromah Habib Ali Kwitang and Habib Sholeh Tanggul.
