Gus Dur whose Goodness Doesn't Want People to Know

It is known that Kiai Marzuki has managed to control several churches in the Malang area by Islamizing people there. As a result, his church became empty. Then, Kiai Marzuki bought the church and made it a madrassa.

Well, apparently Gus Dur heard the news and took the initiative to give awards and sarongs as a form of support to Kiai Marzuki who has succeeded in making people convert plural. But Gus Dur deliberately did not give his appreciation during his life just so that his goodness is not known to many people.

After the 100th anniversary of the death of Gus Dur, there are more guests coming to his residence Kiai Marzuki. This time, the guest handed me three suitcases. After opening, it turns out the contents of the suitcase is Rp3,000,000,000,-*(3 billion rupiah)*. Certainly not a small amount.

Then the guest conveyed the message that the money was given by Gus Dur to be distributed to orphans in Malang Regency. Again, Gus Dur did not want his kindness known to many people.

After the Bali bombing, Gus Dur was very sad and confused, thinking about the security conditions of the Muslims who were there.
