Amadhea opened her eyes. He looked around. The girl frowned finding herself inside a foreign house. He heard whispers like someone reciting a mantra. However, it only lasted for a moment, after which it spelled out.
The girl knew she wasn't really in the real world. He is dreaming right now.
After being noticed, it turned out that it was not someone else's house, but his own. He knew very well his house, it was his house. It's just that the wall is not affixed with wallpaper, but painted in white.
"It seems like this isn't just a dream. Maybe I was really in another dimension before I was born" Amadhea murmured.
He speculated that he was in the past. Where the house has not been plastered wallpaper. Or maybe long before his parents occupied the house. Perhaps the old house is still inhabited by his late grandparents. Because all this time, Sudarman and Ayuni had never told Amadhea about the house.
Amadhea is currently in the living room. Actually Amadhea no longer wanted to find out anything, but the novelist told her to stand up. He got off the couch and walked around the house.
Amadhea saw a room near the stairs whose door was not hidden as she had found yesterday. Even under that door there is no hole. It is likely that the door was hidden by his parents after occupying the house.
With a little courage, Amadhea opened the door. It turns out that room used to be a warehouse. All equipment and tools are stored in there. There is also no bathroom that doubles up like in the previous dream.
The house was very comfortable, it did not look like an old house. From the window, Amadhea noticed the front and back yard of the house that looked very cool with ornamental flowers and shady trees. Unlike now, there are many tendrils and wild plants around the house.
A living fence surrounds the fort and the gate of the house. The gate model seems old-fashioned, but shows the aesthetic side.
Amadhea continued her steps to look for clues. He stopped in front of a beach painting similar to the one Amadhea had found on the door covered in wallpaper.
"This painting... has been around for a long time?"
Amadhea's attention was fixed on the calendar at the table. He took. His eyes were wide at the written year, 1922. That means 100 years ago.
"It is impossible...this was even long before Indonesia became independent.so, this house is 100 years old?" amadhea.
Amadhea looked at the living room. There's a big painting there. In the painting looks a beautiful woman with long hair up to the thigh. He wears an old-fashioned kebaya with a batik-striped cloth.
It is written in the lower left corner of the painting, 1890. "This painting is 132 years old. This woman is dead."
For a moment Amadhea looked at the woman's eyes.
The deg!
It felt like there was lightning striking. Amadhea remembered that face. The woman in the painting is similar to the ghost of the black-eyed, pale-skinned woman who once showed herself in front of Amadhea.
"Is he the owner of this house? So, Papa and Mama got this house from him? Maybe not from this woman, but from her children or grandchildren or great-grandchildren" Amadhea said softly.
Amadhea looked for paintings or other photographs in the rooms of the house. There is a painting in one of the rooms on the 2nd floor, precisely the room of the late parents Amadhea. It turned out that it was not a room, but a special room like a ritual room.
There are two large cabinets, two tables, and two mirrors. On the floor there are offerings and incense. Amadhea got a goosebumps looking at that. He did not want to stay there for long, as a negative aura gathered in the room.
Amadhea was curious about her room. He also entered his room. It also turned out to be a room. There was a large painting hanging in the room. There are 7 women in the painting. One of them was the woman Amadhea had previously seen in paintings in the living room.
Suddenly Amadhea heard a loud voice that made her wake up. The girl grabbed her phone at the table. It turned out that the loud voice was an alarm coming from his phone.
Again, what was just a dream.
The clock shows at 6:00. Amadhea got out of bed and went to the bathroom to clean up. He was still trying to remember the dream he had last night.
After finishing the bath, Amadhea got ready to go to school. He put on a uniform and carried his bag and rushed down the stairs. Amadhea's gaze was fixed on a hidden room near the stairs. He looked at it and revealed a small piece of wallpaper covering the door. The padlock was still locked as it was last seen by Amadhea.
"Bas stupid, of course this door is still padlocked. Who opened it?" Amadhea shook her head.
Amadhea looked up at the beach painting. He took it and looked for clues that might have been left behind in the painting. He saw the back of the painting frame. Written in 1980.
For a moment Amadhea was silent. He remembered very well the painting of the woman in his dream also had the same year in the corner of the painting.
"Overnight's dream is true" muttered Amadhea. He tried to digest everything that happened to him with common sense.
The sound of a bell ringing. Amadhea immediately hung back the painting. He rushed to the main door.
"Who came this early in the morning?" amadhea. He opens the door.
Two policemen were standing in front. A police car was also parked in the courtyard. Amadhea did not hear the sound of cars entering her home area.
"Good morning, is this really Miss Amadhea Claresza's house?"
Amadhea nodded. "Yes, I'm Amadhea Claresza."
"Can you come with us to the police station?"
Amadhea frowned confusedly. Before giving an answer, the policemen took him into the car.
Irma sees Amadhea being taken away by the police. He immediately stopped them. "Sir Police, wait! Why was Dhea taken?"
"We're investigating the case of Mrs Merlin's death. In the interest of the investigation, we have to bring Miss Amadhea."
Amadhea was shocked to hear of Merlin's death, her aunt.
"What?!"
"Excuse me, Madam."
Police opened the car door for Amadhea. The girl complies.
"Dhea." Irma looked worried.
"It's okay, Auntie. Don't worry" said Amadhea.
The car drove away from the old house. The black-eyed woman was all standing in the living room. He saw the policemen taking Amadhea away.
