In the police car, Amadhea seemed calm, though in her heart she was worried.
"Sir Police, I want to call my friend, is it okay?" ask Amadhea.
The police looked at him.
"I just want to say, I can't come to school. If I don't say, then I'll have my point reduced" explained Amadhea.
"Can, kok. Please."
"Thank you, sir." Amadhea was looking for Zahra's number on her phone.
"Hello? Dhea? Tumben hasn't come at this hour. You misfortune?" ask Zahra from across the street.
"I can't go in today. There is something sudden that cannot be delayed. Please tell Ms. Rita, yes," said Amadhea.
"Something sudden? Are you in trouble? Can I help you?" zahra asked who sounded very worried about Amadhea.
"It's okay, really. I'll call you back later, yeah." Amadhea immediately ended her call.
They also arrived at the police station.
Amadhea was surprised to see Calvin there. The man was wearing a patient's shirt. And there's plaster on his cheek.
"Brother Calvin, are you sure, it was Amadhea who killed Madame Merlin in front of you?" ask the police who immediately asked the question.
Amadhea was stunned to hear the accusation.
Calvin nodded. "That's right, Mr. Police. He killed my real mother in front of my own eyes."
Amadhea looked at Calvin with a look of disbelief. He really didn't think Calvin would accuse him like that.
"What did you say? I never killed anyone!" Amadhea.
Calvin looked at Amadhea. "Last night you followed my car into the woods and scared us to the point that my car hit a tree. And don't know how we suddenly got to the mangrove forest on Dead Beach!"
Amadhea digested Calvin's speech. "I know you've hated me all this time, but by accusing me, you've really gone too far with Calvin!"
"Of course, don't fight. At 6pm, Mrs Merlin was found dead with severe injuries to her face, neck, and wood being forcibly smashed into her mouth until it penetrated into the back of her skull" police told Amadhea.
Hearing the police explanation, Amadhea shuddered in horror at the condition of Merlin's body.
"Amadhea, do you have an alibi? What are you doing at 6pm?" ask Police.
"Calvin and Aunt Merlin left the house around 4-5 p.m. I was at home then. Aunt Irma and some neighbors came to my house. We talked in front of the house" replied Amadhea.
"He lied, Mr. Police. Amadhea hated my mother, because she fought with my mother a lot. That's why he killed my mother. Obviously I saw him crawl on top of my car and kill my mother! That's you, Dhea! Because of that explosion, you must have been hurt. Show me the burn on your body!" bentak Calvin's.
"Where did you see the burn? In which part?" ask Dhea.
Calvin stared in disdain at Amadhea. "A part of your face and almost your whole body. You're so horrible."
Amadhea pulled her hair back. "From birth I never had any burns. Where's the burn? How do I catch up with you guys? I don't have a SIM. I don't have a car either, because you guys took it!"
"Already! Already!" The police officer patted the table.
"We'll call your neighbors" police said.
Amadhea nodded.
A few minutes later, the neighbors came to the police station.
"Sir police, don't make it up. Amadhea can't kill people!"
"Yesterday we spoke on the porch of Dhea's house. If you don't believe me, look at my Instagram story, sir. We had pictures at 5pm."
"Yes, sir."
"Yes." Yeah."
Mothers give testimony.
"Where is the Dead Beach, sir?" ask Irma.
"The dead coast is in another province" the police replied.
"Well?!" The mothers are dumbfounded. A and B are in the same province, but Calvin and Merlin's body were found on a beach in a different province.
"But, Sir. Has the GPS in his car been checked?" ask one of Amadhea's neighbors.
Police nodded. "Here, the location jumped from the border of city A and city B then suddenly appeared on the Dead Beach."
Amadhea seemed to think. His memories instantly focused on the female ghost with burns on his face. A burn? Did the ghost of that woman harm Calvin and kill Aunt Merlin?
Phone's ringing. The police picked him up immediately. "Hello?"
"Sir, we've been investigating the car and found fingerprints on the roof and windshield of the victim's car."
"Good, send the sample to the lab and find out more information immediately." The police hung up.
Calvin pensive. He recalled the words whispered by his mother, "Dhea... Amadhea was not Sudarman and Ayuni's son. Amadhea the son of Satan."
"I'm sure it was Amadhea" said Calvin.
All eyes were on the man. The neighbors are getting upset.
"Hey, kid! Why do you keep ngeyel, anyway?! Where's the evidence?!"
The police calmed the mother. "Quiet, Mom."
Calvin looked at Amadhea who was also looking annoyed at him. "Amadhea was not the son of Om Sudarman and Aunt Ayuni. He's a son of the devil. That's why he was able to move us to Dead Beach with his black magic. Om Sudarman and Aunt Ayuni worshiped the devil and cared for the demon child to this extent and now he is causing havoc."
Amadhea shook her head in disbelief at what she heard. He was obviously the son of his father and mother. Even all of his photos from still in the womb while in USG until it was big were on the family album.
The mothers were getting upset with Calvin.
"Don't make up stories! We saw firsthand that Bu Ayuni was pregnant and gave birth to Amadhea in that house. You said so to get the inheritance from Mr. Sudarman and Bu Ayuni, right!"
"Yes, right? Mother, same child the same."
"There is a room hidden by the family of Om Sudarman. I'm sure it's a room used for satanic rituals" Calvin said.
π» Flashback π»
Calvin went around in Amadhea's house. His gaze was fixed on the beach painting near the stairs. He came closer and saw it. If the painting is seen for too long, it feels very scary and gives anyone goosebumps.
Both Calvin's eyebrows frowned at the wall paper sticking out as if it had just been torn. He glanced at Amadhea who was fighting over the jar with her mother.
Calvin pulled that little wallpaper. He saw that there was a door behind the wallpaper that was locked with a large padlock.
"What room is this?"
The sound of a slap distracted Calvin's attention. He approached Merlin and Dhea.
π» End Flashback π»
"She must be hiding something in the room" Calvin explained.
Amadhea seemed to think.
Calvin looked at Amadhea. "In addition, the painting of the beach covering the door is very similar to the Dead Beach. Can this be called coincidence?"
