SURREPTITIOUS

SURREPTITIOUS
Part 06's

After visiting Aulia, Amadhea bade farewell to her father and mother Aulia.

Before Amadhea left, Irma gave Amadhea a large bushel of food. "Thank you for visiting Aulia, she must be glad you came. Oh, yeah, Auntie's got a little food. At the meal, yes."

"Oh, thank you Aunt Irma, I took a bite, yeah." Amadhea accepted it doubtfully.

"It's okay, you're busy school, right? They rarely cook. Next time you haven't cooked, just come here, we'll eat together, yeah."

"Thank you, Auntie."

Arriving at home, Amadhea opened the large bushel. It contains rice, rendang, chicken soup, fried noodles, 2 boiled eggs, and there is tempe and fried tofu.

Amadhea who was hungry ate the food greedily. While eating, Amadhea cried. He misses his mother and father. His mother who loved to cook good food and his father loved to spoil him, bought everything Amadhea wanted.

But now all these are memories.

Amadhea stopped feeding food to her mouth. He smashed his head into both hands folded on the table and cried a mouthful.

The next day, Amadhea woke up a bit during the day, because today she was in session 2 again. The girl cleaned the house as usual. He swept the floor. Amadhea frowned seeing there were 2 red crayons on the floor, in the same place when yesterday found the red crayon.

Amadhea took the crayon from the floor. It does not appear to be two crayons, but one broken crayon splits into two. Amadhea looked up at the ceiling of the room. In case the crayon falls from above, it is rather impossible, because there is no perforated ceiling.

The girl did not want to think much. He threw it in the trash. After that, Amadhea went to school.

In the near future, Germada High School will carry out a computer-based end-of-semester one replay.

On his return, Amadhea was ushered in by her father Zahra again. Arriving at Amadhea's house, several people were seen coming to Aulia's house.

"Did anyone die?" Ask Mr. Ahmad.

Amadhea looked worried especially after seeing the yellow flag planted on the mango tree in front of Aulia's house.

Aulia is dead.

Ahmad and Zahra got out of the car. They stopped by first and helped Aulia's family bury their daughter. Irma seemed to cry hysterically and fainted several times.

Amadhea shed her tears at Aulia's corpse, which had been worn in a shroud. Zahra embraces Amadhea.

After Aulia's body was buried, Amadhea met her deceased mother who was still grieving. They were currently in Aulia's late room.

The middle-aged woman smiled wryly. "Maybe this is God's best path. God loved Aulia so much that she was called first. At least Aulia no longer felt pain."

Amadhea gently rubbed Irma's back.

"Since birth, Aulia has a weak metabolism. He was easily sick and the asthma derivative of Aunt made him suffer even more. Aulia always said that she envied you who could go to school and live a normal life. He wants to be like you" Irma said.

Amadhea was sad to hear that.

"I'm sorry, Auntie's been venting this way."

"It's okay, Auntie." Amadhea got up from her seat. He took a glass of water on the table to give to his mother Aulia.

However, for a moment his gaze was fixed on the window, precisely to his house next to Aulia's house. Amadhea saw the frightening figure of the woman standing in the window of her room exactly as Aulia had told her. The monstrous woman resembled a face that suddenly appeared on her laptop screen that night.

Moments later, the woman disappeared as if fusing into tiny particles that could not be seen by the naked eye.

"Did you think the ghost in Brother's house was only one?" Aulia's words were still ringing in her ears.

Amadhea said, Is he the worst? The most powerful? If it was more than one, it meant that Aulia had seen another other than the burning-faced female ghost. I just need to ignore them, right? But, why did the ghost bother even to kill Aulia? Aulia is a good girl. He should have killed me, because all this time I've lived in one house with him.

The next day, Amadhea woke up early. He was preparing to go to school, due to part 1 more session. Before leaving, the girl was wearing a jacket because today the temperature felt cold. Not to forget Amadhea also wears a mask and carries a hand sanitizer.

"You alone? Where are the others going?" ask Amadhea.

"Alinda and Zahra are not here yet" Greeta replied.

"Ooh." Amadhea opened her mask and then she ate the brown bread.

Shortly after, Alinda and Zahra entered the canteen. They talk while occasionally laughing. They waved to Amadhea when they realized the girl's whereabouts.

Amadhea also waved her hand.

"Nobody's spending my doughnuts and my rice!" Greeta suddenly appears following Alinda and Zahra.

Amadhea froze. If Greeta had come with Alinda and Zahra, then who was the student sitting next to Amadhea?

Gathering courage, Amadhea turned to her side. There was no one just himself on that bench.

Alinda and Zahra sat down with Amadhea, while Greeta bought food for her breakfast.

"You came early in the morning" Alinda told Amadhea.

Amadhea smiled stiffly. "Actually I couldn't sleep last night."

"Is it because your neighbor died?" ask Zahra.

Amadhea nodded. "It seems so, we're pretty close. It was like a nightmare to know that Aulia was dead."

Zahra rubbed Amadhea's shoulder.

Greeta brought two plates of yellow rice and placed them on the table. "Nitip for a second, don't eat."

After saying so, he passed by and took out a plate full of fried food and sat down beside Alinda.

Greeta glanced at her friends. "You want? Take one each, yeah."

"I'm full" said Amadhea, showing her the bread.

"I had breakfast earlier" said Zahra.

"I envy you" Alinda told Greeta.

"Why? Because I have a lot of food?" ask Greeta.

"You eat as much as you eat, you never get fat. It's different if I eat that much. Even drinking one glass of water can make my stomach distended," said Alinda.

Greeta. "You're not fat, though. Who said you were fat? Here say the same to me, later I'll mess up his ears."

"My mother" replied Alinda quickly.

Zahra and Amadhea held back laughter looking at Greeta's facial expression that turned sour after hearing the reply from Alinda.

Yes, Alinda's mother is notoriously fierce.

"Oh, looks like you should indeed hear your mother's words."
