SURREPTITIOUS

SURREPTITIOUS
Part 02's

Amadhea is currently sitting opposite Bu Rita, her homeroom teacher.

Ms. Rita said, "Mom heard from Ms. Tessa you often daydream in class, huh?"

Amadhea did not answer.

Bu Rita rubbed his student's shoulder. "Mother is sorry for the passing of your parents 3 months ago. You must still be in shock. But, if you have a problem, tell Mom, yes. Don't hold your own, maybe you can help."

Amadhea nodded her head. "Yes, Mom. Thank you." Thank you."

Amadhea came out of the teacher's room. He saw that the students from session 2 had already arrived at the school and filled the corridor. The girl continued her steps.

Mr. Juki who was standing in front of the gate turned to look at Amadhea who had just come out. He opened the gate.

"There's an extra task, huh, Non?" ask Mr. Juki.

Amadhea nodded. "Yes, Mr. Juki. I came home a little sad."

Juki sir looked at his watch. "It's still morning, really. It's only 10 and a half. Some of the students of session 2 have not come."

The deg!

It feels like there is a godam that hit his chest, after hearing Pak Juki's explanation. "Oh.. Then excuse me, sir."

Juki sir nodded with a smile. "Be careful on the road, Non."

Amadhea nodded politely and then passed. He took the bus like yesterday. The girl fiddled with her phone playing a game.

Amadhea heard the laughter of the little boy from behind her. He looked back. Amadhea saw a pregnant woman holding a baby and a girl beside her playing with the baby on the lap of the pregnant woman.

Amadhea smiled at him. Suddenly the girl with the hair turned to him. Amadhea gasped in shock, as part of her face was shattered. The girl immediately turned to look straight ahead. His heart is pounding.

What did I just see? Amadhea.

The sound of the cell phone ringing. Amadhea. He checked his phone. No notification of anything.

"Hello?" The voice of the woman behind Amadhea. It turned out that the pregnant woman's phone was ringing.

Amadhea let out a long sigh then she lowered her head to play her phone. I don't know what he's playing, actually the girl just swiped the menu screen.

"Why should I do it?" The pregnant woman still seems to be calling.

"Evocate your baby, or I'll do it myself" the man said on the phone.

"Buffback man. I don't want you to hurt my children anymore" said the pregnant woman.

Even though the woman called in a quiet voice, Amadhea could hear her.

"If you don't kill now, I'll kill you."

The woman was crying in silence. He turned off his call. "Sir, I'm down here."

The bus stopped.

Amadhea looked at the pregnant woman's back who was now getting off the bus. There's a man on the side of the road. The woman went with the man.

Is she her husband? What the hell's going on? Amadhea wondered in her heart.

For a moment his breath was blocked when the corner of his eye caught the figure of the little girl standing beside his chair was staring at him. It turned out that the ghost of the little boy was holding a baby who was also a ghost. Amadhea tried to calm herself. He put his phone in a bag.

"Sir, I stopped in front," said Amadhea.

Bus stops. Amadhea immediately got out of the bus and ignored the ghost of the little boy. He walked in a hurry. He returned home on foot today.

Arriving at home, Amadhea opened her mask. He took a shower and changed his clothes. The girl took bread from her bag that she had bought in the cafeteria, but she had not had time to eat. Amadhea ate.

"At least tomorrow I have the afternoon session" said Amadhea. His voice echoed in his room.

Amadhea went from the bed to the window. The girl saw someone in her neighbor's house who was also looking at her through the balcony window. It turned out to be a woman who appeared to be younger than Amadhea.

The girl waved her hand at him. Amadhea also waved her hand.

The girl's hand stopped. He pointed towards Amadhea. Not understanding the girl's intentions, Amadhea frowned. He still waved his hand at the girl.

The girl shook her hand and pointed towards Amadhea.

Amadhea's hand slowed down and stopped. He felt the presence of something nearby. The cold began to rule his room. Amadhea swallowed the saliva when she heard the sound of bated breathing from behind her. The feathers all over his body bristled.

Amadhea turned. A gentle wind blew against his face. There was nothing in his room. He turned back to the girl next door. The girl was no longer there. Maybe he left when Amadhea turned around just now.

Not wanting to think about the incident just now, Amadhea passed by leaving her room and left her window open for fresh air to enter.

Evening has arrived.

Amadhea was working on her PR in the room. Notifications went to his laptop. He looked at the laptop screen. He also got into online learning directly through an application that requires students and teachers to meet face to face via video calls.

Amadhea put earphones into her ears. The faces of the students of the XI-IPA-B class appeared on the screen.

"Hello, guys!"

The last face of the teacher named Ismayani. "Please calm down, boys!"

All the students were silent. Ms. Ismayani said, "Well, are all students of the XI-IPA-B class from session 1 and session 2 already connected to this video call?"

"Already, mom!" answer some students.

Amadhea was just listening.

"Irsya is not connected yet, ma'am," said one of the students.

"Don't he fall asleep."

Some students laughed.

"Whoever ask Irsya to join immediately or Mother will consider him absent from Physics lessons," said Bu Ismayani.

Soon after, a student named Irsya joined in.

Ms. Ismayani again said, "Mother will pass on first, who knows there are still some who are not connected. Victoria Alinda?"

"Given!"

"..."

Amadhea who was seriously listening suddenly did not hear any sound. He tapped his earphones.

Amadhea removed the earphones from her ear while muttering, but she did not hear her own voice. Everything suddenly quiet. In fact he could not hear the clockwork second sound from the living room which was usually heard until his room on the second floor.

Amadhea heard the voice of the woman calling her name. His voice was very similar to the one he had heard on the bus.

"Amadhea... Amadhea...."

Amadhea still could not hear anything but a hoarse voice that kept calling her name. He looked around, holding his ear.

"Amadhea... Amadhea...."

"Amrrhea!"

"Amrrhea!"

Slowly came a buzzing sound in his eardrum.

"AMADHEA!"

Amadhea.

"Amadhea Claresza?"

"Amadhea?!"

"Dhea?!"

"Oh! H-hadir, Mum!" Amadhea gelagapan's. He wiped away the sweat running down his forehead.

Ms. Ismayani continued to serve. "Arnold Hariss Sanjaya's...."

"Get up, Mom!"

Amadhea daydreamed again.

"Gerald Aditya?"

"Remain."

"Greeta Carissa Princess?"

"Right, Mom." Greeta was eating potato chips.

"Greeta, don't eat while studying. Until I'm done explaining, you can't eat anything put that food down" said Ms. Ismayani.

"Yes, Mom."

All the students laughed.

Bu Ismayani is the last name in the absent book. "Zahra Annisa Ramadanna?"

"Remain."
