SURREPTITIOUS

SURREPTITIOUS
The Part 52

A few months later, Sudarman and Ayuni's relationship had improved. They slept in the room and returned to greet like husband and wife. Now Sudarman is changing. He paid more attention to Ayuni, because he did not want to lose his beloved wife. Nino's death nearly left their domestic relationship fractured. Sudarman did not want their relationship to end in divorce.

Although Ayuni was no longer protracted in grief over her son's death, she still felt lost and still cried sometimes when she saw Nino's belongings. If Nino had ever been photographed and Ayuni saw her picture, maybe Ayuni would not be able to stop crying until anytime.

However, since Sudarman covered up Nino's whereabouts, so Nino never took pictures in his entire life. Even on the family card the name El Nino Glacier is not written. Nino was considered a shadow, perhaps even Sudarman thought it did not exist.

After Nino's death, the old house felt even more sinister. Terror began to emerge. Nino's figure seems to still exist and roam in the house.

Every night there are frequent footsteps, laughter, crying, and screaming of young children. However, both Sudarman and Ayuni, they ignored him despite their fear. Plus the shadow that kept passing.

That morning, Merlin came to visit the old house. It seems she had given birth, because her stomach was flat. Merlin pressed the bell, but there was no answer. Once again the doorbell was pressed, but there was still no answer. No one came to open the door.

Merlin pushed open the door which turned out to be unlocked. He also entered. "Mass?"

Ayuni was standing in front of the painting Dead Beach against the door.

"What's there?" asked Merlin cynically.

Ayuni did not respond. He still stands. Merlin approached him and stood next to Ayuni.

"Mas Sudarman doesn't buy any more milk supplies than usual. Does he not care about Nino?" ask Merlin.

Ayuni did not give a response.

"For whatever reason to care about that useless child. He's just a burden" continued Merlin.

Ayuni remained silent.

Merlin frowned looking at Ayuni who was not usually silent like that. He said again, "Or not... The mute is dead?"

"You will die" said Ayuni softly, but Merlin heard it.

"What?!" Merlin pulled Ayuni's arm. "What did you say?!"

Ayuni looked at Merlin sharply then pointed at the painting. "You will die in this place with wounds on the face, neck, and head. You'll die in front of your son!"

Merlin raised his hand to slap Ayuni, but Ayuni immediately caught Merlin's hand. He slapped his sister-in-law's face hard. Merlin fought back, but Ayuni was more deft and many times he slapped Merlin in the face until he fell down.

"Mas Sudarman! Help me!" merlin shouted as Ayuni stomped and kicked her.

"aaa! Mr Sudarman!!" merlin shouted in pain while protecting his face with both hands.

"What's up?!" asked Sudarman while approaching Merlin.

"Mas!" Merlin hugged Sudarman. He looked around, but saw no Ayuni anywhere.

"Why are you such a mess? What's up?" ask Sudarman. He looked at the corner of Merlin's bloody lips.

"Bak Ayuni, he beat me up" said Merlin.

Sudarman. "Ayuni can't beat you up like this."

"He beat me, he kicked me, and stomped on my body!" crying Merlin.

"You don't accuse my wife. I know you hate Ayuni, but by accusing her like this, you've gone too far!" bentak Sudarman's.

"Mas is still defending Ayuni, even though Mas saw myself I was battered like this?! If not who is he?!" ask Merlin.

Ayuni came out of the kitchen with an apron on her body. "What's up, Mom?"

Merlin pointed at Ayuni. "Don't pretend to be stupid! You just beat me up and kicked me!"

"What?!" Ayuni was surprised to hear Merlin's words.

"Stop accusing Ayuni, Merlin! Ayuni was with me in the dining room!" Sudarman.

"Have you been content to curse my wife?" ask Sudarman.

"Mas." Merlin shook his brother's arm.

Ayuni looked at Merlin for a moment then she passed into the dining room.

Because of the incident, Merlin was increasingly convinced that Ayuni practiced black magic to protect herself and her husband.

A few months later, Ayuni was pregnant. This made Sudarman happy. He is very caring for the health of his wife and also the fetus in her womb.

However, when stepping on the 6th month, Ayuni miscarried. He's very sad. Sudarman comforted him not to drag on in deep sorrow.

That thing over and over again. Every Ayuni is pregnant and her gestational age is on the 6th month, then she will miscarry.

Lately Ayuni often dreamed of Nino who ran at home laughing. When approached, Nino would show an angry expression and then disappear.

One day, Karnilah visited Sudarman and Ayuni's house. He just wants to see their situation. At that time, there was only Ayuni at home, because Sudarman went to the office.

Ayuni served snacks and drinks to the table and then she sat opposite Karnilah.

"How are you, Ayuni?" ask Karnalah.

"My news is good, Miss. How's Miss Karnalah doing?" ayuni's answer ends with a question.

"I'm good too."

Ayuni smiled.

"You look pale" said Karnilah worriedly.

"Three days ago I had a miscarriage" Ayuni said.

Because it looks sad. "I'm so sorry."

"This is the 4th time" said Ayuni.

Because it looks sad. "Have you ever had a child?"

Ayuni looked surprised, because she did not think Karnilah could know. The woman looked worried, as she did not want anyone else to know about Nino, or Sudarman would be mad at her.

Not for no reason to ask like that. He saw the figure of a white-eyed child who hugged Ayuni's stomach and continued to follow her wherever she went.

It seems like they are waiting for an answer. "It's okay, I can keep a good secret. You know I'm a psychic. I keep a good secret of the people who come to me."

Ayuni suddenly cried. He told all of this to Karnilah. The old woman listened to all the outpouring of Ayuni's heart.

"Everybody in this world has made a mistake." Carnally rubbed the hair of Ayuni who was crying in her arms.

He explained, "Your son still did not accept the fact that he was dead. He also has a grudge against his father. Besides, you can't let it go either. That's why your son is still wandering around this house even though he's been buried properly. He always follows you wherever you go. She doesn't want her mother to have any more children. He hates the fetus in your stomach. Therefore, you miscarried."

Ayuni digested the words of Karnilah. "Did he.. did he kill my fetus?"

Karnalah. "Yes." Yeah."

Ayuni was crying even louder. He did not expect that answer, but he could not hate his son either.

"Can you show me where the room is?"
