Online learning is getting boring. Amadhea recorded all the important material discussed by Bu Ismayani. Some of the students were even seen talking to each other in the video call.
"Amadhea?"
Feeling called, Amadhea turned to the screen, but no one showed her calling Amadhea.
Maybe it was just my hallucination, Amadhea thought. He looked back at his book.
"Amrrhea!"
Outraged, Amadhea snorted and looked back at the screen.
"Dhea?" call Ms. Ismayani.
"Y-yes, Mom?" Amadhea looked nervous. He was worried that the one who had called him was Ms. Ismayani.
"Your mother called, didn't you hear her?" ask Ms. Ismayani.
Amadhea seemed to think. "My-my mom's already...."
"Amadhea?"
Now Amadhea realized that the voice of the woman who called her did not come from the people in the online learning application, but from her own room.
"I'm sorry, Dhea. I just remembered, your parents are dead. I'm sorry, yeah." Ms. Ismayani seemed to regret her words.
"Amadhea?" The voice of the woman calling his name was still heard.
Amadhea's heart was racing. He felt the coldness that enveloped him. The girl lowered her head and cried in silence as she inhaled the burning scent that pierced her nose.
"Say you live alone in the house, why is there someone behind you, Amadhea?" Greeta asked while pointing to the screen.
Amadhea swallows saliva. Even this time he felt a cold hand touch the top of his head.
"Amadhea?"
"Aarrgghhh!" Amadhea flicked her hands back against the hand that touched her head, but there was nothing as she looked back. There was only her in that room. And it should be.
Breathing gasps. Amadhea looked back at the laptop screen that was black. Amadhea pressed the enter button, suddenly a horrible face with burns and dried blood appeared full on the screen.
"Yeah!!!" Amadhea cried out in shock to the point that she fell down from her chair. The girl was inching back in fear.
The laptop screen is off.
After calming down, Amadhea connected the charger to her laptop, apparently the battery ran out. He sighed heavily then passed to the bathroom and washed his face in the sink.
Amadhea stared at the reflection of her face in the mirror. He looked tired and pale. Of course, everyone must have been shocked after experiencing what had just happened to him. The girl went back to the room. He takes a breath from his nose and then exhales it through his mouth.
Still trying to think positive, even though his heart rate is in disarray. Amadhea took her phone and sent a chat message to Zahra.
Me: Za, my laptop battery is running out, please apologize to Ms. Ismayani. I'll be joining online learning soon, but waiting for the battery to fill up a bit.
Zahra: Okay, Dhea.
Amadhea took a long breath.
The next morning, Amadhea woke up a bit during the day, because today she was in session 2. Amadhea was busy cleaning the house. He mopped the floor painstakingly. While seriously mopping the floor, suddenly a crayon in red rolled on the floor and stopped right in front of Amadhea's feet.
The girl nodded. He took the crayon. "Who's this? I never use crayons. I'm not even good at drawing."
Amadhea didn't think much of it. He was used to all the strange things that happened in his house, because Amadhea was born and raised in the old house. However, after both of his parents died, those strange things came up more and more often. Even the ghosts began to show themselves to Amadhea.
The red crayon he found was dumped in a garbage can. Suddenly the sound of ambulance sirens. Amadhea. He looked out the living room window. The ambulance stopped in front of a neighbor's house.
"Is there someone who's sick?" amadhea.
The middle-aged man came out of the house holding the body of a girl Amadhea believed was the girl who waved at him yesterday as she stood in front of the window.
The middle-aged woman and two small children came out of the house following the middle-aged man. They seemed to cry worriedly.
The clock shows at 12.
Students of class XI-IPA-B session 2 exit the class. They have completed the lesson.
Amadhea walked gontai. He said, is it better to take a taxi?
"Dhea?" get Zahra.
"Go home, yuk!" bring Zahra.
"I'm afraid to trouble your father" Amadhea refused.
"Troubt what? Come on!" Zahra held Amadhea's arm.
His father Zahra, Mr. Ahmad was very friendly and happy to take Amadhea home. Amadhea and Zahra sat in the back seat,
"The road to your house is in the same direction, really, tomorrow with Zahra alone," said Mr. Ahmad.
"Yes, Dhea, don't turn down our offer" Zahra said.
"Emm... is it not a hassle?" Amadhea looked nervous.
"From taking the bus, listening with Zahra and Dad. The bus fare is stored for you to serve" said Mr. Ahmad.
"Thank you, sir," said Amadhea.
"Together."
"Oh, yeah, last night your laptop battery ran out? Last night our video call suddenly died, because you're doing nothing" Zahra said.
Amadhea laughed stiffly. "My laptop battery runs out easily. It might be broken."
"Do you live with your aunt?" Ask Zahra.
Amadhea did not answer.
"A woman came into your room and held your head. I thought it was your aunt, because at that time you said you had a cousin's aunt" continued Zahra.
The deg!
"After that?" Ask Amadhea worriedly.
Zahra. "meaning? 'After that?'?"
"After you see that woman, what happens?" Amadhea asked with a trembling voice.
Zahra looked confused. "It's not just me who saw it, Greeta did too. Others saw it too. After that, your laptop is dead."
Amadhea digested Zahra's words. "You see his face?"
Zahra. "No, what I saw from his chest to his stomach."
Amadhea nodded slowly.
"Why? Is that not your appointment?" Zahra asked worriedly.
Amadhea smiled wryly. "It's not my tanti."
"Then who?" Zahra panicked.
The black car stopped in front of the gate of Amadhea's house. Before Zahra got the answer from Amadhea, Amadhea was out of the car. He nodded his head to Mr. Ahmad.
"Thank you very much, sir."
Mr. Ahmad nodded as he spread his gaze around the creepy old house. Amadhea broke into her home after Mr Ahmad's car drove away.
"Did he live alone in such a big house?" Ask Mr. Ahmad.
Zahra hesitated. "It looks like it is."
"Again, invite him to play at home. Your other friends also invited, yes," said Mr. Ahmad.
Zahra nodded. "Yes, but if another pandemic gini like they won't want to."
"Yes too, yeah."
