SURREPTITIOUS

SURREPTITIOUS
The Part 31

Alinda's awake. He saw Zahra and Greeta standing at the door. "What are you doing?"

Zahra and Greeta were shocked. They looked at Alinda. "Nothing, really."

Alinda looked suspiciously. Is it possible that Zahra and Greeta also felt the presence of something in this house?

Zahra and Greeta sat back in bed. They still looked frightened despite trying to hide it.

Alinda looked at Amadhea who was still sleeping soundly.

Suddenly there was a sound on the door of the room. Greeta and Zahra screamed in shock. Alinda put her index finger in front of her lips, not wanting Amadhea to be distracted. Greeta shut her mouth. Zahra looked at Amadhea who was awakened by hearing the screams of her friends.

"What's wrong?" ask Amadhea.

The sound was still heard even louder. The sight of the four girls was fixed on the door that was shaking so hard from outside.

"Dhea, I'm scared." Greeta hides behind Amadhea.

"There was a man standing at the end of the stairs earlier. Maybe he's the one now banging on the door" Zahra said.

"Dhea, what exactly happened? Is your house haunted?" alinda asked with a trembling voice.

Amadhea did not answer.

Over time the lump began to weaken and disappear.

"You'd better go home" said Amadhea as she went back to sleep and covered her body.

"Hey, how can we go home? I can't leave my sick friend behind" Alinda said.

"Yes, we can't leave you. What if that thing broke in and bothered you?" gerutu Greeta's.

"We will stay here until Sunday" Zahra said.

"I'm used to all this" said Amadhea slowly. He told Zahra, Alinda, and Greeta.

All the things that he experienced, the problems of his life, and everything that he cared for were all poured out that day.

"Oh, my Amadhea." Zahra hugged Amadhea.

"Thank God you're fine even if you fall from the second floor" Greeta said, rubbing Amadhea's hair.

"Why is your aunt so annoying" Alinda grumbled.

"Even though he's dead, but I'm still upset" Greeta grumbled.

"Aren't you planning to move house?" ask Zahra.

Amadhea. "I don't have a house anymore, except for this. I want to move house and sell this house, but who wants to buy it?"

"Yes too, anyway." Alinda breathed heavily.

Zahra's gaze was fixed on a wall clock that showed at 6 a.m. "We should make food for Dhea. He's got to take medicine, right?"

Greeta shakes Zahra's arm. "But I'm afraid of getting out."

"Actually I'm scared too, but I want to go again." Zahra folded her face and opened the door. Greeta. After seeing the situation, they came out.

"We cook first, yes," Greeta said.

Zahra and Greeta left without waiting for an answer.

"Hopefully they can really cook. The Greeta ate it all" Alinda said, touching Amadhea's forehead. "The heat is gone."

"really?" ask Amadhea.

Alinda nodded. His hands were still touching and fumbling Amadhea's forehead. "Why are you?"

"I'm grateful that you're okay despite falling from the second floor. It's hard to believe, but it looks like you have a protector" Alinda said.

"Protectors? How come? All the ghosts in this house want to kill me" said Amadhea.

"Then why don't you die? They should have killed you when you fell from the second floor" Alinda said.

Amadhea digested Alinda's speech. It seems to be true that Amadhea remembers everything again. The black-eyed female ghost likes to call out her name even when the ghosts in the school attack her.

".... I think garlic doesn't help much. The ghosts that evade you are more afraid of that black-eyed ghost than garlic." Xaga's words were still ringing in his ears.

Zahra and Greeta were busy in the kitchen.

Greeta broke the egg and put it in a bowl. "Well, the eggshell came in."

While Zahra was making porridge in the rice cooker. He added water a few times and then cut the vegetables. "Actually I'm not a good cook like Mama, but I hope my cooking is good to eat."

"It's not good, I'm the one who eats," said Greeta, who was busy picking up fragments of eggshells in the egg-mixed bowl. After that, he shuffled it with a fork.

Alinda entered the kitchen. He looked annoyed and grumbled, "A long time, anyway."

"Kok, you don't nemenin Dhea, anyway? It's been there, '" said Greeta.

Alinda opened the rice cooker and saw the porridge inside. "It's still liquid."

Zahra replied, "Can, just added water just now. You go back to Dhea's room. Kitchen business let us handle it."

"What if I'm here? I can also help, really," said Alinda, seizing a knife from Zahra's hand and cutting her vegetables to take over Zahra's duties.

Greeta and Zahra looked at each other.

"Your hands are so cold" Zahra said half-inquired.

Alinda glared at Zahra. "The temperature in this house is very cold, so my hands are also cold."

Greeta gave me some garlic cloves. "All cut the garlic. I'm gonna cook some fried rice."

Alinda avoids the garlic. "Don't throw! I hate the smell of garlic!"

"Hey! If you don't like the smell of garlic, why go to the kitchen! Back to Dhea's room!" greeta looked very angry.

"You guys have been cooking for a long time!"

Zahra did not dare to break up the quarrel of the two friends. He chose silence and picked up the garlic scattered on the floor.

Unexpectedly, Greeta took a one-handled pan and placed it on Alinda's face so hard that Alinda fell to the floor.

"Greeta!" Zahra was shocked by what Greeta was doing.

Greeta clenched her hands and linked her fingers. He looked down while closing both his eyes. He looks doodle.

Zahra looked at Alinda who was still sitting. He suddenly turned his head with a burning face and roared in pain. Zahra raised her hand and she also prayed.

"Aarr!!!!" The scary woman disappeared accompanied by a screaming sound.

Greeta breathed a sigh of relief and continued her activity of frying eggs. "I knew she wasn't Alinda when she said she hated the smell of garlic. Alinda loves garlic. Besides, you said his hand was a wall, right? Alinda's hands are sweaty and always warm."

Zahra digested Greeta's speech. Among the four of them, Greeta and Alinda are the closest, as they have been best friends since childhood and had previously attended the same Junior High School. Greeta knows Alinda better than Amadhea and Zahra who met in High School. They also rarely interact, because of the pandemic that makes students learn online and rarely face to face, let alone play and spend time together.
