SURREPTITIOUS

SURREPTITIOUS
The Part 34

Take the key out of his bag. He opened the door of the house and entered. Amadhea followed him. The room is very dark. Groping the wall and pressing the switch. The dimly lit lights present a thick impression of horror in the house.

Amadhea rolled her eyes around. The house looked old-fashioned, as well as his belongings. Let's go to another room, while Amadhea looks for clues in the living room.

Amadhea's attention was drawn to the large painting on display above the fireplace. It was a painting of 7 men that women were like in Amadhea's dream back then.

This time Amadhea looked at the painting very closely. One thing that made Amadhea surprised half to death was that one of the women in the painting was similar to her face.

"What the fuck?" Amadhea looked shocked.

In the painting, the woman who looks like Amadhea wears a red kebaya. It's so pretty and graceful.

Amadhea shook her head. "It's just a stupid dream!"

"I want to wake up! I want to wake up!!!" Amadhea beat her own head.

"Hhhhh!" Amadhea woke up. He found himself asleep in a narrow room whose walls were covered in red crayons. The girl rubbed the sweat running down her forehead.

"Why am I in this hidden room?" amadhea. He looked around. It seems like it's still night. He got up and walked up the stairs in slow steps.

Amadhea arrived at her room. He saw his friends still sleeping. The girl threw her body into the bed. He looked at the ceiling of the room.

Little by little I found information. Nino is the son of Mom and Dad. Then the woman named Karnilah was the owner and the one who sold this house, none other than that black-eyed ghost and he lives in a house in the mangrove forest located on the Dead Beach, the inner Amadhea.

Then. whose face is similar to mine, maybe it's just my hallucination. But....

πŸ‘» Flashback πŸ‘»

"He lied, Mr. Police. Amadhea hated my mother, because she fought with my mother a lot. That's why he killed my mother. Obviously I saw him crawl on top of my car and kill my mother! That's you, Dhea! Because of that explosion, you must have been hurt. Show me the burn on your body!" bentak Calvin's.

"Where did you see the burn? In which part?" ask Dhea.

Calvin stared in disdain at Amadhea. "A part of your face and almost your whole body. You're so horrible."

Amadhea pulled her hair back. "From birth I never had any burns. Where's the burn? How do I catch up with you guys? I don't have a SIM. I don't have a car either, because you guys took it!"

"Already! Already!" The police officer patted the table.

***

Calvin looked at Amadhea who was also looking annoyed at him. "Amadhea was not the son of Om Sudarman and Aunt Ayuni. He's a son of the devil. That's why he was able to move us to Dead Beach with his black magic. Om Sudarman and Aunt Ayuni worshiped the devil and cared for the demon child to this extent and now he is causing havoc."

πŸ‘» End Flashback πŸ‘»

"Burning wound.." muttered Amadhea. He remembered the ghost of the woman whose face melted with burns. Cold sweat flowed from his forehead. "He's...."

From the corner of her eyes, Amadhea saw the door of her room slowly opening. He saw a figure standing there. Amadhea did not dare to look at the door. He was frozen in fear.

The sound of Adzan rang. Amadhea looked at the door. There's nothing there. A gentle wind blew against his face. Amadhea got up and closed the door. He saw Zahra still sleeping.

"Zec." Amadhea approached Zahra and she woke him up slowly. "Zahra."

Slowly Zahra opened her eyes. He looked at Amadhea.

"It's dawn, Zahra," said Amadhea.

Zahra nodded. He's waking up. However, Zahra stopped at the door. He looked at Amadhea.

"Why, Za?" ask Amadhea.

Zahra nodded doubtfully.

As the morning began, Amadhea's friends returned home.

"Thank you for keeping me company and taking care of me" said Amadhea.

Zahra and Alinda embraced Amadhea.

"Take care of yourself, yeah. If there's anything, call us, or call Aunt Irma, or call the police" Zahra said.

Amadhea nodded.

"Tomorrow you don't have to go to school. You need time for treatment and recovery. Don't forget to take the medicine, yeah. Aunt Irma said she'd come to your house with food" Alinda said.

Amadhea nodded. "Thank you, yeah."

Greeta hugged Amadhea tightly and long enough.

"Greet." Amadhea returned her embrace.

"If you feel their presence, you just have to ignore them" Greeta said.

Amadhea nodded. "Thank you."

After her friends left, Amadhea re-entered the house. The girl sat on the sofa. He was still thinking about his dream last night.

"If in life Carnilah sold his house to Papa, it means he gave up his house. Then why is he bothering me? Besides, Karnilah's relationship with my parents seems to be fine, no problem whatsoever." Amadhea leaned her back against the back of the sofa.

Amadhea took a slow breath. He touched his left forehead. "Why don't you deflate? It doesn't hurt, but I don't want to go to school with this forehead."

"Oh!" Amadhea remembered something. He took his phone and searched the location of Dead Beach on Google Maps.

"Is that house there too?" Amadhea opens the navigation of the journey. What he saw on Google Maps was the same as what he saw in last night's dream. He also still clearly remembers the path leading into the mangrove forest.

Even the house was still standing intact in the middle of the mangrove forest. Although there are tendrils and vines that creep on the walls. The house looked abandoned and more sinister.

"I really can't believe this house really exists. It turned out that my dream was not an empty dream," muttered Amadhea.

"I think I should call Xaga. Only he can help me, because he's the only one who can see what I see. Even he can see what I can't see" said Amadhea. He searches for Xaga's number in his contacts and sends a chat message.

Me: May I ask for your help?

Amadhea waited for a reply from Xaga. Soon, her chat was marked with a blue tick, meaning Xaga read her chat.

Coo (Typing.).

Amadhea looked worried. He hopes Xaga replies to him and is willing to help him.

Xaga: Are you okay? What can I help you with?

Me: There are so many things I need to ask you. It's about that black-eyed ghost. I got a hint from my dream. I hope this saves me.

Xaga: Tomorrow I go home to school.
