SURREPTITIOUS

SURREPTITIOUS
Part 48's

In his new room, Nino can't sleep. He got bored and got out of bed and sat at the study table. The boy began drawing using crayons in his drawing book.

I don't feel like the clock is showing at 2 am. Nino finished the picture. It was so funny the picture he made. In the picture, we see a happy little family. Father, mother, and son. Behind them is a big house.

Nino smiled happily imagining the picture would come true someday.

There was a faint sound of knocking on the window. Nino's attention was turned to that window. He got up from the chair and then revealed the curtains, but could not, because the curtains were nailed to the frame.

Nino gouged out the tacks that nailed the curtains to the frame with all her might.

Without him noticing, a burning-faced female figure stood behind him. The woman smirked frighteningly.

Sensing the presence of someone behind him, Nino turned her head. There was no one in the room but him.

Suddenly there was the sound of objects falling in the room that was concurrently with his room. Nino looked shocked and frightened.

He immediately went to sleep and covered his entire body with a blanket. His body trembled in the blanket.

Krieeeeeett!

The sound of the door opening with a distinctive hinge sound. Nino's head emerged from under her blanket. He saw the bathroom door that was coupled with his room was open. Nino didn't see anything there.

"Hhhrrrgggs!!!" Suddenly a burning face appeared in front of him.

Nino yelled stifled and then she went back to hiding under her blanket. He could not scream loudly. His voice was stuck in the throat. It is very desirable that the child screams loudly asking for help from his parents.

Day starts in the morning.

Ayuni unlocked Nino's room door. He opens the door and sees Nino still asleep. The woman smiled then passed to the kitchen to cook.

As Ayuni sauteed the seasoning, a delicious aroma was smelled to fill the kitchen space. That woman is very good at cooking.

After the cooking was cooked, Ayuni served it to the table.

Sudarman entered the kitchen with a newspaper.

"The coffee, Mas." Ayuni offered a cup of coffee. Soft steam danced over the coffee.

"Thank you, dear." Sudarman blew on the coffee and sipped it.

Sudarman and Ayuni looked at the door when they saw Nino standing there.

"My son, are you awake, son? Come here, we have breakfast together."

Nino hugged her mother. Ayuni also returned her son's embrace and gently rubbed her hair.

"My son."

Ayuni poured rice and side dishes for Nino. The boy laughed happily.

"Nino, eat a lot, yeah. Let you be strong and can protect Mama someday" said Ayuni gently.

Nino nodded her head in excitement. He also eats.

Sudarman put down his fork and spoon rather roughly making a clanging sound as it clashed with the plate. Ayuni and Nino were shocked. They both stared at Sudarman.

"My appetite is gone." After saying that, Sudarman got up from his chair then passed.

Nino's crying.

Ayuni rubbed Nino's hair. "Nino continue eating, yes. Mama should talk to Papa."

Nino just nodded. He bowed after Ayuni who passed out of the kitchen.

Nino did not continue eating. He wandered and looked at the door. The boy peeked and saw his parents fighting.

"Mas, if you keep this up, Nino gets scared of you. No matter how Nino is our biological child," said Ayuni.

"I really don't like that kid. Every time I look at it, I'm I'm really upset" Sudarman grumbled.

"Buck...."

"Why, Ayuni? Why did you give birth to such a disabled child?!" sudarman shouted cutting Ayuni's speech.

"Mas, don't be hard, Nino will hear," said Ayuni.

Sudarman rubbed his face rough. "I told you, just throw the kid in the orphanage. Merlin was right, Nino shouldn't have been born into this world."

Ayuni could not help her tears that were now flowing down her cheeks. "Mas blame me?"

"If it's not your fault, whose fault is it?! You forced me to defend that child!" bentak Sudarman's.

"I'm sorry I married you, Ayuni!"

The sound of a bell ringing. The two of them looked at the main door.

Ayuni wiped her tears and then passed to open the door.

Sudarman passed into the kitchen and told Nino to immediately enter his room. Sudarman locked the room.

It was Karnin who came to see you. Ayuni invited him in. They both sat next to each other on the sofa.

"Is the house comfortable?" ask the woman.

"Very comfortable," said Ayuni.

"Maybe the house does look a bit old, understand the age of this house is two hundred years," said Karnalah while circulating his gaze around seeing the house change after the residence of Sudarman and Ayuni.

"My husband really likes the design that is like a European-style building, Bu Karnilah," said Ayuni.

Cause smile. "Thank God you're comfortable in this house."

"Where does Bu Karnilah live now?" ask Ayuni.

"I live outside the province, on a beautiful beach surrounded by mangrove forests" said Karnilah.

The gentle wind blowing in from the air vents made the room feel cool.

Suddenly the painting of the Dead Beach fell for no reason. Ayuni and Karnalah's gaze was fixed on the painting on the floor.

"The painting is falling" Ayuni said as she got off the couch and confirmed the painting.

Feel that something else is in the room. To distract his mind, Karnilah said, "I live on the beach in the painting, Dead Beach."

"Dead Beach? The name is a bit creepy" Ayuni said as she looked at the painting.

Ma'am Carnilah smiled making her wrinkles more real. "Yes, that place is notoriously creepy, but for someone like me, I'm used to it and comfortable."

Ayuni nodded in understanding. He sat down beside Karnilah.

"You are young and you can have a lot of children to fill your days in a house this big" Karnalah said.

Ayuni smiled softly. "Hopefully this year we are given offspring."

Inwardly, Ayuni sat down, I already had a handsome and kind-hearted son. He is my son whom I love very much.

"Then I go home, yeah." Karnilah.

Ayuni nodded. He brought Karnilah to the front of the house.

Take a ride in a classic car parked in the courtyard of the house that brought him there. The old woman opened the car door and entered.

The car drove away from the house.

Because he breathed heavily. He sat down, even though I had expelled all the ghosts in the house before it was occupied by Sudarman and his wife, but why are there still many who roam? Hope they're okay. I've built a protective fortress to guard their families from the black magic shamans of today.
