The door to the room opened. Amadhea came out of her room. He looked around. Someone peeked behind the wall next to his room. Amadhea ran towards that direction that led to her parents' room. There was the sound of a child's laughter echoing on the second floor
Amadhea saw the figure of the little boy running into her parents' room. Amadhea was standing at the door of her father's half-open room. His hand moved to touch the knob and pushed the door. However, his intention was broken. He pulled the door of the room to cover it.
But Amadhea felt the door being pulled from the inside by someone. He let go of his grip on the doorknob then he passed to return to his room.
Kreeeeeeekk, Amadhea's parents' bedroom door slowly opens. The figure of the little boy was standing in the doorway.
Amadhea heard clearly the open door, but she pretended not to hear it.
Suddenly Amadhea heard the deafening voice of a child's cry from her parents' room. The girl crouched down while covering her ears with both hands.
The screams of the little boy were still echoing inside the two-story old house. Amadhea turned to see her book thrown from the room with a loud door slam.
Amadhea swallowed the saliva and then she got up. Slowly the girl walked over and picked up the book. He looked at his book which had been doodled with red crayons.
Who would be angry, but who is angry? I'm upset, yes I can't.
Amadhea reached into her pocket and grabbed the phone from inside. He called someone.
"Zahra?"
"Yes, Dhea?" Zahra replied after their call was connected.
"May I borrow your Chemistry book? My wet chemistry book fell into the mop water" said Amadhea.
"Yes, can. Tomorrow, yeah."
"Please photoin the last week's Chemistry assignment. You see, I haven't done it yet" pinta Amadhea.
"Oh, that was last week. Wait, yeah. I took a photo first. I'll send it to the chat later" Zahra said.
"Okay, I put the phone on, yeah."
"Yes." Yeah."
The call ended. Amadhea looked at her already red book all over it. The girl opened the book sheet by sheet hoping there were still records she could save. At least he can record some Chemistry records if there is still a safe record.
However, there is another thing that makes him very surprised, which starts from the middle sheet there is writing. Amadhea read it in her heart.
I THINK I'VE GROWN UP.
Amadhea opened the next sheet. Everything is written in red crayons.
TURNS OUT I WAS A KID.
Amadhea swallows saliva. Cold sweat flowed from his forehead. He continued to open the next sheet.
WHY DID MOM AND DAD KEEP ME IN THAT ROOM TO DEATH? DO YOU HATE ME?
Amadhea quickly opened the sheet and read it.
I'M NOT WRONG!
WHY HATE ME?! I NEVER WANTED TO BE BORN!
YOU WHO MADE ME BORN INTO THE WORLD, YOU ARE ALSO THE REASON I ENDED UP TRAGIC IN A TERRIFYING DEATH!
OPEN DOOR! OPENUP!
Amadhea heard the pounding sound of her bedroom door. His hand that was holding the book trembled. He opens the next page
HELLO, ARE YOU READING THIS?
Amadhea threw the book on the floor. The noise on the door of his room was no longer heard. The wind blew out of nowhere making sheet after sheet of Amadhea's book on the open floor and ended up in the very back yard.
I'LL KILL YOU TOO!
Grrrttt, grrrttt.
Amadhea jumped as the phone in her pocket vibrated. He reached into his pocket and checked the incoming notification. Turns out the chat from Zahra who sent us the photos of Chemical duty for tomorrow.
Amadhea ventured into her room. He rounded his eyes to see the large inscription of the red crayon on the wall of his room.
I WILL KILL YOU TOO!!!
The sounds of crying, screaming, and laughter of the little boy echoed in the old house. Amadhea tightened her hand which was holding the mobile phone.
The next morning, Amadhea cleaned the wall of her room which was scrawled with red crayons using a wet cloth. "Ah, nyusahin mulu!"
At school.
Mr. Tarmin swept in front of the gate. There are no more big trees there. Previously, the gate of the Germada High School was only partially visible, because it was blocked by a large shady tree. The sunlight was also blocked by its lush leaves. Now the gate of SMA Germada is clearly visible in its entirety. Instead, Mr. Tarmin planted a young tree that on the ground the former old tree had previously grown.
Amadhea and Zahra just arrived at the school area. They say hello to Mr. Tarmin, "Good morning, Mr. Tarmin."
Amadhea and Zahra climbed the stairs to their classroom.
"I became pangling to see the front of the High School after the big tree was cut down" said Zahra.
"Yes" said Amadhea.
The clock is 10:15. The break bell rings. All the students left the class and went to the cafeteria.
Alinda took Greeta's hand. "Zahra, Dhea, let's go to the cafeteria."
Amadhea seemed serious about copying the Chemistry material from Zahra's book into her new book. "Three of you go first. I'm gonna finish this."
"Let's just copy it, eat it first" says Greeta. "Later Physics. Know for yourself Miss Ismayani kayak how. You can't eat in class."
"All teachers do prohibit students from eating in class, especially during class hours" said Alinda.
Greeta chuckled while scratching her non-itchy head. "Yes too, anyway."
"You guys go first, I'll be with Dhea" said Zahra.
"Must follow, yes. Watch out, don't eat," Alinda threatened while passing with Greeta.
"And you could copy it at home" said Zahra, giving Amadhea three candies.
Amadhea stopped her activities for a moment and then she received the candy. "I can't concentrate on writing at home."
Zahra. "Why not consent? It's not that at home it's quieter, is it?"
Amadhea smiled stiffly. "Yes, anyway."
Amadhea's gaze drifted to the window. He saw Xaga with Zayn walking down the front corridor of his class.
Feeling noticed, Xaga turned to the window of the XI-IPA-B class. His views met with Amadhea. The two stared at each other. Suddenly a horrible face appeared on the window blocking Xaga's face.
"Hhhh!" Amadhea almost screamed so shocked to see the face full of wounds.
The doorbell rings.
Bu Ismayani entered the XI-IPA-B class. He gave daily repetitions to all the students. Then he sat down and opened the book.
"Work on a piece of paper, don't be noisy" said Ms. Ismayani.
"Semester 2 has just begun, but there's been some practice."
"Irsiah, I hear you," said Ms. Ismayani.
The student named Irsya jumped in shock. "Sorry, Mom."
Amadhea took the paper from the middle of the book and took the ruler and cut the paper into two parts using the ruler.
Greeta opened the book and pulled the paper from the middle. He folded and licked the fold between the two papers and tore them in half.
"Ih, slovenly, there are scissors," grumbled Alinda who saw Greeta's actions. He thrust his scissors.
"Tell!"
"Greeta! Alinda!" tegur Bu Ismayani's.
"I'm sorry, Mom," said Greeta and Alinda.
Some of the students seemed serious about each one. There were also students whispering and asking the smart students for answers. There are also those who choose to fill the paper as long as the answer is not empty. There are even students who count buttons or stamp-cup to fill in multiple choice questions. All students' efforts are very diverse.
Unknowingly, the class became quiet. Suddenly there was a loud scream from outside the room.
Amadhea looked around. It seems that this time not only Amadhea heard it, but the other students in the IPA-B class also heard it.
"What's that sound?"
"It's like someone's screaming."
"Is anyone hurt?"
Ms. Ismayani knocks on the table. "Kids, go back to the table and work on each of you!"
Instead of obeying Bu Ismayani's orders, all students of class IPA-B got up from the chair and peered at the window.
They were surprised by what they saw.
