In her room, Amadhea was sitting at her study table as usual. As he was seriously reading the material book, suddenly the onions that were hung on his study table fell scattered.
Amadhea was shocked. He looked up at the onion hanger that had left its bond.
Amadhea left her book. He took a new onion hanger and then taped again up there. The girl sat down and continued reading.
There was the sound of bated breathing and the hoarse voice of someone reciting a spell. Amadhea pretended not to listen.
The one who came must be the black-eyed ghost, the inner Amadhea.
The voice disappeared.
The burning smell filled the room. Amadhea gave a rough breath. Why did the ghost with a burning face come all?!
All of a sudden all of the garlic hanging all over the room scattered and fell to the floor. Amadhea screamed in shock. He jumped on the chair and saw the onions on the floor scorched as if they were burning.
"How can you?" Amadhea got off her chair. He touched the charred onions.
"Aw, hot!" Amadhea blew her fingers.
Amadhea was silent when she heard the sound of laughter of children echoing in the house.
Suddenly his chair was thrown towards Amadhea. The girl screamed in panic. He immediately crouched. The chair slammed against the window of the room until the glass broke and the chair came out falling to the ground.
Amadhea touched his chest. His heart is beating fast. If he does not fall down immediately, the chair will hit his body.
Suddenly the door of his room opened with a loud slam. Amadhea saw the burning-faced ghost standing in the doorway. The female ghost grinned eeriely. Suddenly he was in front of Amadhea.
Amadhea's knees were limp. He fell down. The woman's ghost strangled Amadhea's neck. It feels like a snake. Amadhea took out Xaga's rosary, and she placed it on the ghost's face.
The burning-faced woman shouted. Smoke billowed from his face. Amadhea saw the former rosary imprinted on the cheek of the woman's ghost.
"Hrraaagghhhh!" The ghost disappeared from Amadhea.
Amadhea caught her breath. He fell on the floor crying in fear.
Suddenly the voice of the woman reciting the spell came back. Amadhea cried while covering both ears. He doesn't want to hear anything anymore. The girl felt cold hands touching her head and forehead.
He tried to thrash, but his body seemed to freeze, very difficult to move.
The black-eyed ghost was close behind him. He whispered the mantra directly into Amadhea's ear while holding the girl's left head and forehead.
Amadhea was crying in silence. His hand holding the rosary trembled. He was really scared.
The rosary in his hand broke off and scattered to the floor for no reason. Amadhea saw the figure of a little boy peeking in the doorway. The little boy looked scared.
Amadhea touched the hand that covered her forehead. "Stop!! stop bothering me!!!"
The black-eyed woman laughed gigglingly. "Yahoooo!!!"
Amadhea opened her eyes. Next to his eyes, precisely the left eye turned all black. His blood vessels appeared on his left cheek and forehead.
"Aarr!!!" Amadhea screamed in pain. It fell to the floor.
The sound of the spells slowly disappeared. Amadhea is still drooping. The mood became quiet. The clockwork seconds from the first floor rang out all the way to his room.
Amadhea moving. He got up and stood staggering while holding his head. The girl looked in front of him. His left eye is back to normal.
The girl saw the burning-faced woman standing not far from her. He looked at her. Suddenly the ghost was already in front of him and pushed him to the window that had broken his glass because of the toss of the chair earlier.
"Hhhh." Amadhea felt her body hover in the air for a moment before she fell down and landed on the ground.
Amadhea did not feel any pain, even though she fell from the second floor. Maybe because the pain that black-eyed ghosts give you is much more painful than falling from the second floor.
Slowly, Amadhea's eyes closed. She faintly heard a hoarse voice muttering right in her ear, "I just want to take mine."
After that, he was unconscious.
Clack up!
The sound of water drops.
Slowly Amadhea opened her eyes. The gray sky that Amadhea first saw when her eyes opened. Drops upon drops of water from the sky fell onto his face.
Am I dead?
"Hhhh." Amadhea grimacing. He tried to get up, but he couldn't. With all his strength, Amadhea crawled towards the porch of the house.
The girl finally reached the porch of the house with her clothes dirty from being exposed to the mud of wet soil exposed to rain water. Amadhea was crying in silence. His eyes were blank looking straight ahead.
Why don't I just die? Hard to believe, I fell from the second floor, but I did not die, inner Amadhea.
Amadhea looked at her watch which showed at 4 p.m. The girl was very surprised.
So, I fainted for 19 hours?
It's getting dark.
Pak Ahmad's car stopped in front of Amadhea's house. In the car were Mr. Ahmad, Zahra, Alinda, and Greeta.
Alinda and Greeta looked at the car window. Alinda asked, "Is this really Amadhea's house? She lives alone in this house? It's scary."
"Well, he's really brave" Greeta murmured.
"Papa, if Amadhea is sick, Zahra can stay the night, right? Pity him alone," pinta Zahra.
Mr. Ahmad nodded. "If there's anything, just call, yeah."
Zahra nodded.
The three of them got out of the car while carrying their bags.
"Excuse me?" Alinda knocked on the old house.
"Not locked, just go in" Greeta said, looking around. He looks worried.
Alinda nodded then opened the gate.
"What are you doing?"
The three girls gasped in shock at the sound of the woman reprimanding them. Zahra, Alinda, and Greeta turned to the source of the voice, apparently Irma.
"Aunty Irma?" Zahra knew Irma, because she and her father had come and helped Aulia's funeral.
"Today Dhea didn't go to school. Out of worry, we came to see him" Zahra explained.
Irma seemed to think, why are they coming at night? The ghost of the old house's guardian will definitely bother them. I must accompany them so that nothing unwanted happens.
"Yes, come on! Auntie temenin, yes." Irma opened the gate and entered first.
"Thank you, Auntie," said Greeta.
Alinda looked around the old house. Spacious yard with dim lighting, because the yard lights are blocked by dust and vines.
Greeta hugged Alinda's arm without looking around her. He looked straight ahead.
Zahra was talking to Irma. They both walked ahead.
"This morning Aunt did not see Amadhea. Aunty thinks she's going to school or maybe in the house" Irma said.
Zahra looked worried. "Dhea doesn't go to school. Usually he'll tell us he won't come in."
