Chapters 17. Sound Recording.

They all still look solemn listening to Zarga's story about the identity of Vero who turned out not to be an arbitrary person, but they are still curious why Vero left behind all the wealth and luxury of his own clan.

"I'll keep trying to find out more, Miss." Zarga ended his explanation.

"Who is Samuel Fernandez?" asked Leon who did not know the person they were talking about.

"He's Leora's business partner." Arya answered as if she knew very well about their relationship.

"Liora?" Leon chose to ask his sister directly.

"Cih, can't believe the times," Arya's lips were upset to see Leon's response.

"He's one of the investors on our existing hospitality project on the Y island, sir." Alex replied representing Liora. "After the project, we continue to work together on other matters as well." Add another release.

All of them immediately glanced sharply at Alex, he was indeed used to reporting everything to Liora so this time he could not stop her saying.

"Another thing?" Leon asked what Alex meant.

Alex looked towards Liora, should she say it or not? However, there was no sign that Liora gave as if telling Alex not to continue with her words.

"Why? Is there something you're hiding from me?" Leon realized that there was something they were hiding from him, he looked towards Liora who was bowing her gaze.

"Liora, what are you hiding from sister?" urged Leon who was increasingly haunted by curiosity, he shook his sister's shoulder to get an answer to his question.

Liora exhaled a rough breath, she was thinking hard whether to tell her brother now or not. After a bit of thought, he finally looked towards Alex.

Liora nodded her head as a sign that Alex could tell Leon. Perhaps it was time for the brother to know what they had been hiding from him.

"Call Kenzie here!" liora's orders to Zarga. Zarga immediately called kenzie to get there.

Meanwhile, Alex begins to tell Leon everything about Samuel. Starting from a cooperative relationship, an attack on a winery to a break-in of Grazielle's family-owned company assets.

Hearing that, certainly makes Leon's heart feel doused with gasoline and embers. He is seen clenching his hands, then Alex also says that the real culprit is not Samuel.

Flashbacks

"As I was again focused on work, I suddenly entered an email saying about the Bloods group. Of course I feel interested when I read it, it has been a long time I want to know about the famous gang. He ordered to attack their winery, then sent the location of the place and also paid 5 M for it. Actually I'm not interested in money, I'm more interested in the Bloods group than its name makes other groups afraid, and I want to know who the real leader is." Everyone listened to Samuel's explanation solemnly.

"I didn't think you were the one I attacked. Then they sent Kenzie to deal with me, and about the attempted asset breach, I swear I didn't know anything" Samuel explained.

End flashback.

Leon listened solemnly to all the words spoken from Alex's mouth. After he finished, he turned to look towards Liora. Quickly, he hugged his sister tightly.

Liora who was hugged by the older sister must have felt shocked. He just silently froze in his place, while the others just looked on with silence.

"How far have you gone, Liora?" Leon was sad to see the burden his brother had to bear.

Leon did not expect that Liora could get that far, it was fitting that she felt strange to see the change in attitude of the sister. The younger brother he remembered used to be always cheerful and chatty, now turned quiet and rarely smiled.

Leon had never even really seen Liora laugh like she used to, but all this time he had never asked anyone about Liora's change. He was afraid that he would offend his sister.

"I'm sorry brother." Leon felt guilty.

Leon was not on his sister's side when the valley fell on him. When her sister had to fight alone to maintain the family, when Liora had to endure all the pain, and was forced to fight all the pain that came in her life.

There was nowhere to lean, and nowhere to complain. There is no place to just shed tears, the girl must still look strong and tough in the eyes of many people.

Arya patted Leon's shoulder softly, hoping that what she was doing reduced the bit of sadness that her best friend was experiencing.

Leon stretched his arms, he looked towards everyone who was there. The faces were the ones who had been by the sister's side, protecting and strengthening every step that Liora stepped on.

"Sit down." Lera invites Kenzie to join them, making the man sit in an empty seat next to Zarga.

"He's Kenzie, Brother. The man who was ordered to kill me." Liora introduces Kenzie to Leon.

"What?" Of course Leon was very surprised when he heard it, especially seeing the person who said he wanted to kill his sister instead sat down to join them.

"What did you get?" liora asked after seeing Kenzie take something out from inside her bag.

"I've got the voice recording, Miss." Kenzie immediately gave a small box to Liora.

Liora immediately picked it up and played the sound that was recorded.

"Keep following them, lest you lose sight of them for a second. You should be able to kill Liora tonight."

"Shoot Leora!"

That was the voice of someone who ordered Kenzie to kill Liora. Everyone heard it seriously, trying to remember the voice that had just played.

"Good work" Liora praised

"Thank you, Miss." Kenzie was very pleased to receive praise from his young lady.

"Keep narrowing your investigation, lest there be a single gap left!" liora's orders to all of them.

"Good, Miss." Alex, Zarga, and Kenzie answered simultaneously.

"We've also been working with Mr. Samuel, Miss. We're going to combine our investigation with him" Zarg added

Liora nodded her head. "I'll go with Brother Zarga to see Master Samuel."

"I'll accompany Miss." Alex seems to want to go with Liora.

"No need, I'll go with Zarga and Kenzie. The rest stay here, and tell my sister everything" Liora said.

Leora, Zarga and Kenzie set out to meet Samuel, before they had made an appointment.

"Miss," call Zarga slowly to Liora. Since becoming a secretary, he began to talk a lot.

Liora looked towards Zarga while waiting for something the man would say.

"Do we have to investigate Mr. Vero as well?" ask Zarga.

"Why?" Liora asked back.

"Even though Samuel's master moved himself, he was still a member of Barra Zander. And Mr. Vero is his son, everything is interconnected" Zarga said at length.

"Totally so." Liora agreed with Zarga's words.

"If that's how we go to see him first, I want to see what he's doing."
