Chapter 39. Research In Clans.

Not only Leon was happy, but the others were too. Especially Arya, she knows best how Liora's condition.it used to be only her own who had to handle it, and assisted with Alex who gradually pulled Leora from the brink of adversity. "Huh, you see," Samuel grumbled, he was afraid that Vero knew where he was. "What's this?" He was a little surprised to see the results of the work he was working on. "I have to investigate." Then he rushed out to find out the truth.

It turns out that Samuel is in country M to investigate from whom Geo got the consignment of the weapon he used to kill Liora, and the results of his quest lead to his own clan.

A waiter approached them and served 2 cups of coffee and snacks on the table, allowing them to enjoy it.

"How's it?" ask Brian to start the conversation.

"All is well" answered Samuel. He sipped his coffee and put it back on the table.

"Have you really thought about it?" Brian looks a little worried. He knew what was going on with Samuel, because they were besties. "Great master will be very angry, Sam." He reminded her back.

"I know," answered Samuel quickly. "but I cannot afford to betray the young master." Evidently.

It turns out they were talking about Vero. Samuel told Brian about the orders from their master, which left him completely confused.

"Young master has really changed, yes, he's very much different from what I used to know" Brian said. He was surprised to hear the big changes that had happened to Vero, because he used to be very close to the man at the time of serving their leader.

"Well, I was also surprised to see the change. But there's something I want to tell you" Samuel said.

Then Samuel began to tell about the attack experienced by Liora and also Vero, until the investigation he was doing.

"Our clan?" brian was a little surprised.
