Chapters 27. A Very Resolute Rejection.

Today, Samuel went to face his master after a long time. He will report everything that happened to Vero accompanied by his personal secretary, Sony. They entered the luxurious mansion of the Zander clan leader.

"Sir is waiting for you" said Eric, Barra's personal assistant.

They're heading straight for Barra's office,

it was seen that the middle-aged man was sitting while waiting for their arrival.

"Good morning, sir," said Samuel along with his secretary.

"Sit down." Without answering Samuel's greeting, Barra told them to sit down before him. "Say!" Later orders.

"Mister Vero's condition is very good, sir. Last night Mr. Vero was involved in a fight, but no injuries occurred," reported Samuel made the look of Barra's face turned tense.

"Who attacked him?" barra asked while looking at Samuel intently.

"Sorry sir, I have not managed to figure it out yet" replied Semuel who felt useless. He did not manage to find out who that person was which definitely made the master disappointed.

"Is there any more?" barra asked while leaning against her body.

Samuel swallowed his saliva violently. He seems hesitant to tell about Vero's relationship with Liora, but if not told now, then his master will be even more wrathful.

"Mr Vero was being close to a girl." Finally the word came out of Samuel's mouth.

"Is she a proper girl for my son?" asked Barra sharply. It was obvious that he placed great importance on a degree equivalent to her.

Samuel then replied that Liora was very worthy to be with Vero. Both in terms of physical, property, and also power.

"Good." Barra let out a rough breath. "What family is she from?" He asked again out of curiosity.

"Miss Liora is the only daughter of the Grazielle family, sir. Liora Grazielle," Samuel replied proudly.

The cup Barra was holding fell to the floor, leaving Samuel and Sony to jump out of their seats.

"Who did you say?" asked Barra while standing up.

Seeing that, Samuel and Sony stood up. They were very surprised by the reaction his master showed, and thought that he had made a mistake.

"Liora Grazielle, Master" Fearfully, Samuel again mentioned Liora's name while looking at Barra full of question marks.

"Grazielle?" barra's screams made her voice echo in that place. "Why did he get in touch with that family?" He asked sharply, leaving Samuel and his secretary in a state of confusion.

Samuel then told him about the meeting of Vero and Liora, just like when Vero told him all about it. He felt a little sad and uncomfortable as he felt like he was betraying his friendship with Vero.

"Sep them both apart!"

Like being struck by lightning in broad daylight when hearing orders from his master. How could Samuel separate Vero and Liora like this? He then decided to ask the reason behind his master's orders.

"He must not have any connection with the family, whatever the reason," Barra said sharply.

Samuel then tried to persuade his master, this time he really felt hard to carry out Barra's orders because he did not want to betray Vero as a friend.

"You just have to run errands, and forget about love that doesn't matter." Resolutely rejecting anything Samuel said to her.

From a distance, Alex notices the two of them. To be honest he was also very happy to see his young miss happy, but he was also worried when he remembered who Vero really was.

"What are you thinking ?" arya asked while taking care of Liora and Vero. "You know, if Liora's really happy right now, she looks like the Liora we used to know. I'm grateful he got a guy like Vero, regardless of the family background of that guy."

Alex also knew that Vero was a good man, and that he loved his young lady very much. Although he is a descendant of the Zander clan, but Vero was never involved in the mafia world of the father.

"Urus is your own business." Alex said it right to Sally's ears, even her breath felt blow on the girl's skin making Sally goosebumps.

After saying that, Alex left Sally who was silent in her place with her heart racing.

"Basic crazy. I really can't control myself not to be fascinated by that creepy guy."
