Chapter 47. Back To Company.

Leon squinted his eyes in disbelief. "Is Liora really okay?" He asked again in doubt at Zarga's reply.

"He must be fine, maybe he was a little surprised when he saw Marvel," exclaimed Arya, he could understand how Liora was feeling at the moment.

Not long after, Liora was ready with her work clothes and joined them. Everyone turned silent stiffly, and no one dared to look at him.

"You're going to the office, honey?" leon asked softly, his gaze filled with meaning.

"Yes Kak, I haven't been to the company for a long time" Liora replied as she enjoyed her breakfast. He cut the sadwich before him slowly, very visibly uninspired.

"Wouldn't it be better to just rest at home, tired of just having a party yesterday" Leon suggested.

"No papa Sis, there's something I want to do" Liora replied, she would rather spend her time working when her feelings are breaking as they are today. That way, time won't seem to pass. If he continues to be at home, he may lose his sanity.

"Alright, but don't get too tired" Leon said. He could no longer forbid the younger sister, even if it was forbidden Liora would definitely leave.

Liora simply nodded her head, whereas the others only looked at them with silence and did not dare to make a sound.

After finishing breakfast, they all left for the company by car. Except Arya went to the hospital.

Arriving at the company, the employees look happy when they see Liora. They greeted him with great enthusiasm and full of smiles.

"Good morning Miss,"

"Good morning, young lady,"

"Good morning, Miss."

Liora simply nodded her head to receive their greeting. Some people look confused, he seems to return to his cold figure even though lately Liora has been more friendly and smiles a lot.

"How is the development of the hotel construction project on the island of Y?" leora asked Zarga when she got into the room.

"It's over at about 80%, Miss," Zarga replied as he handed the report he was holding to Liora.

"Well, I will prepare it," Zarga replied before leaving the room, he immediately took care of all their preparations to go review the project site.

Liora's feelings look better after busying herself with work, but it is undeniable that Vero's face always crosses her mind. How the man looked at her scarredly upon hearing the confessions from Marvel, without her noticing tears trickling down her pretty face.

"What's up, honey? why are you crying?" leon asked as he walked quickly towards the younger brother.

The newly conscious Liora instantly wiped away her tears, as she daydreamed she did not know when the elder brother entered her room. "No, brother, I'm I'm just sleepy" He looked for an excuse while pretending to yawn, making Leon squish both his eyes.

"You're a bad artist, Liora. Your acting is inconclusive" Leon said, looking at her intently.

"What acting?" liora grumbled while sighing harshly. He leaned his body that felt sore, even though when he was focused earlier he felt not tired at all. "Oh yeah, what's the matter with Brother here?" He asked after compiling the file before him.

"Sister just wants to see you," Leon replied as he pulled his sister's nose, making Liora pout her lips.

"So, there's just one thing" Liora said, shaking her head.

"So don't want to go out for a while, don't forget to eat lunch, yeah" said Leon, he reminded the sister not to forget to fill her stomach because she had to meet someone outside the company.

"Yes-yes, Brother be careful on the road," Liora said later.

Leon then kissed his brother's forehead and passed away leaving him, he had to meet with Marvel immediately. His feeling was very confident that Liora did not want to marry the man, especially the sister had already loved another man. He had to cancel the agreement between Liora and Marvel before it was too late.

"Sister won't let you sacrifice happiness just for the sake of business, Liora."
