Chapter 40. Meras Suspicious.

After Liora agreed to celebrate her birthday, they all felt very happy and enthusiastic about preparing for it. Everyone is busy with their work and tasks.

Like Alex who is currently checking out the building to be used for the party,

he also made a phone call here and there to make sure the other work was done before the show started.

"Is everything finished?" Leon approached Alex who was paying attention to the flower decorations.

"Already, Master," Alex replied while still paying attention to the flower.

"Nothing, sir." Alex replied back as he turned his gaze toward Leon.

Leon feels very curious because Alex is not usually interested in something, and strangely even interested in flowers.

"I only see flowers, sir," Alex said. He was confused, what was wrong with that?

"I know you've seen flowers." Leon was upset. "What am I blind." He said by throwing his face away.

Alex scrunched his forehead cluelessly, he only looked at the flowers because they were beautiful. However, why was his master even angry like that?

"It's all done, sir," Zarga reported to Leon who had just arrived at the spot. He was in charge of inviting the whole family, business colleagues, officials and many others. Including the members of the Bloods, of course they should not be left behind.

"Yes already" said Leon as he passed leaving them.

Zarga looked at Leon's departure in confusion. "Loh, what's up?" He asked Alex.

Alex just puts his shoulders back, he doesn't know what's going on. Looks like Leon is in sensitive mode right now. He then followed Leon's steps even though the man was far away, and decided to return to the office.

Meanwhile, in the cafe Vero saw Sally and Samuel were there. They're talking about Liora's birthday tonight.

"Well, I'm glad" Sally said as she received a party invitation from Liora.

"Chew, lebay," Samuel sneered, he was seen starting a war with the girl.

"So, busy," replied Sally indifferently. He did not want to ruin this happy moment.

"Where were you two days ago, Sam?" ask Vero who is also in that place.

"Country M." Subconsciously Samuel told Vero where he was last night because he was too focused on the phone.

"Country M?" ask Vero sharply. His voice was a little strong to make Sally who was beside him look in wonder, while Samuel who just realized was immediately drunk. He cursed his mouth that had no brakes.

"Bod*oh." Samuel cursed himself.

"Eh, i-that's that I have business there." said Samuel nervously, he looks very suspicious now.

"Business?" vero sarcas made Samuel sweat cold.

"Why is that?" sidelines Sally. she felt Samuel looked very agitated at the moment, not as usual.

"Are you investigating Liora's problem?" asked Vero again, he felt his friend was hiding something from him

"No-no" Samuel quickly denied, shaking his hand.

Vero let out a rough breath. Of course he did not believe Samuel's words, but even if he insisted, he would not tell him.

"After Liora's party, I'm going to go to M's country" said Vero suddenly making Samuel who was drinking directly spout it into Sally's body.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Samuel felt guilty for making Sally's shirt wet, and rushed over to give her a tissue.

"Of course you're a shaman playing with people," Sally explained, she went straight to the bathroom to rid herself of Samuel's deadly spray.

Meanwhile, Vero continued to watch Samuel. He was convinced that his friend was hiding something from him. "What are you hiding from me, Sam?" He asked sharply.

"You mean?" Samuel pretended not to understand.

"Don't pretend anymore, Sam. I know there's something you're hiding from me" Vero said firmly.

Samuel was confused. If he continues to avoid, Vero will continue to be suspicious, but it is also impossible that he said it.

"I happen to have a business trip there, so all of you investigate the matter" Samuel said, saying he hoped Vero would not ask the others.

Vero tried to believe what his best friend said. Indeed last night he had time to investigate the matter as well, but he did not access directly to the country M. He didn't want his father to know what he was doing.

"the results?" Vero seemed to believe what Samuel said.

Then Samuel told him everything, but he did not tell Vero that the sender was the Zander clan.

"Basar bajing*an," said Vero who felt really emotional.

"I've told them, they can definitely investigate further" Samuel said. Last night she called Alex and told him what she had.

Vero was seen nodding his head, but later he would come back to investigate.

"I want to go home" exclaimed Sally who had just come out of the bathroom.

"Let me drive," Samuel bargained, he grabbed his car keys and got off the couch.

"No way," Sally refused tightly, it seemed like she was still angry because of the incident.

"Oh, my God, that's angry. I'm not on purpose" said Samuel because he was completely unintentional.

Sally was still throwing her face away, she was reluctant to look towards the creature.

"Yes, as an apology, let me buy you a meal!" samuel said he smiled very sweetly.

"It's not a dinner treaty, but a new dress treaty.' My clothes are wet you make, '" said Sally. Looks like he's taking a chance in a narrowness.

"Cih, in the heart ask for the heart. Yes, come on!" samuel replied, but he still obeyed Sally's wishes.

Sally cheered happily when she heard him, she wanted to buy clothes to go to Liora's party. Then they say goodbye to Vero and rush away from there.

"Agle, who is this?" muttered Vero. he felt that Agle was not from this country. The man is clever enough to use others to close his identity.

"Alright, for a while forget that," he said, reaching into something from his pocket. "You must look really pretty when you wear this, Liora."
