Chapter 22. Party Invitations.

The room instantly became silent as two pairs of eyes stared at each other. The air felt crowded for the residents, especially Sally who had ventured again shrieked to see the fierce face of Alex.

Meanwhile, Alex who was shocked to see Sally in his room rounded his eyes with a sharp gaze as if he wanted to shoot a laser at the woman.

Glug.

"He's so creepy." Sally wanted to get out of the room.

"What are you doing here?" Alex's voice was like a dagger slicing through Sally's body making her goosebumps instantly.

"How's this? I'm so scared." Sally's face was already very pale, she really wanted to run away leaving the creepy man right now. "No, I have to be brave." He tried to get back strong.

"I-I'm sorry to bother you, sir." Only that word was capable of Sally speaking in a soft voice.

Alex was really bothered by the arrival of the woman. He who usually never shows expression despite being sad or happy, today shows an expression that he has never done before.

"What are you doing here?" ask Alex again in a blaring voice. He was already on the verge of his sabbath at this moment.

Sally raised her head to look at Alex's face. He's still as creepy as he was. "I'd like to meet you, Sir." He spoke calmly, but believe me his hands were already trembling behind his body.

"For what?" alex asked with a circus, he folded his chest hands.

"That's sir, I want to thank you." Finally Sally could also convey the meaning of his arrival.

Alex frowned when he heard the girl's answer. She did not understand why Sally was thanking her, she was still quietly waiting for the continuation of Sally's words.

However, apparently Sally did not understand Alex's silence. He thought Alex was angry because of his words even though Alex was silent waiting for the continuation of his words.

The atmosphere felt very gripping, only the sound of their breathing was heard. The two people in the room froze in their own places.

"Why do you think this is?"  Sally felt scared as well as awkward. He glanced at the man standing silently before him. "Why is he silent?" He screamed at the man's silence.

While Alex was only silently watching the girl in front of him, occasionally his eyes emitted a sinister aura to Sally.

"Is he finished?" Alex wondered. For the first time he waited for a woman to speak other than his young lady.

"Why?" Alex asked the woman.

"Eh, what does that mean?" Sally didn't understand what Alex meant.

Without the two of them noticing, Leon was already standing on the doorstep watching the two people standing opposite each other. Apparently he was there, he never knocked on the door when he entered Alex's room. She smiled at Alex's stiffness and the awkwardness of the woman before the man.

Feeling sorry to see the woman's face in confusion, Leon chose to approach them.

"I mean Alex, why are you thanking her, miss?" Leon voiced his surprise to the two people who were being hit by the current clumsiness.

Straight away, Alex and Sally looked towards the source of the sound. The two of them gasped in shock upon seeing Leon's whereabouts, especially Sally. His face was already flushed red by now, whereas Alex just lowered his head when he saw Leon.

"Your guest's kok wasn't told to sit?" ask Leon again while looking at Alex.

"Sorry sir, he's leaving already" replied Alex who indirectly expelled Sally's whereabouts.

"Huh, what?" Sally was shocked to hear Alex.

"Oh, that's it." Leon pretended not to know about what was going on in the room. Then he turned to look at the woman who was frozen in her place.

"Tell me what you want to say, miss. Alex must be happy to hear it," said Leon to tease Alex, making Sally's face redder. Who is ashamed, who is ashamed.

"I'll take him out, sir." Alex chose to end the drama before Leon went any further.

"but I'm not done yet." Sally's reflexes spoke strongly to them, then she hit her own mouth that was speechless.

"Well, look. He's not done yet" Leon said with a teasing smile.

It felt like Alex was dragging the woman out of her room right now, but it was impossible for her to do so in front of the master. He was just frustrated in this situation.

Not long after, Leora also enters Alex's room followed by Zarga, making the longer the drama takes place.

Afraid of Alex's piercing gaze, Sally chooses to leave the room. It seemed that his mission did not go according to what he had planned.

"I'm sorry, sir, then" said Sally, wanting to get out of there.

"Miss Sally!" call Liora to stop Sally's footsteps that had almost reached the door. He then turned around when he heard Liora call him.

"What are you doing in Alex's room?" asked Liora who was a little surprised to see her whereabouts there.

"What do I have to answer?" Sally felt claustrophobic, she wanted to just disappear from this earth when necessary.

"She wants to talk to Alex, Miss," Zarga said in response to Liora's question. He did not see the flames burning beside him. Alex looked at him intently as if saying that you said one more word I would blow your mouth.

Glug.

"come out of me." Zarga cursed his words.

Then Liora turned to look at alex, asking for an explanation for Zarga's words.

"Miss, this isn't what you think. I'll take him out." Alex is eager to grab Sally's hand and pull her out of the room.

"What am I thinking?" asked Liora who saw there was unease on Alex's face.

Alex could not answer, it seemed like he was in a situation that was going awry at the moment.

"Haha!" Leon could no longer hold back his laughter, for the first time he saw Alex who looked awkward and wrong.

"Let's go out, it looks like they still need a lot of time to finish their business" Leon said, adding to the ongoing drama.

"What the hell is this?" Alex was really frustrated.he was completely rendered speechless.

"I'd like to thank you for helping me that night, sir." Sally immediately explained the meaning of her words earlier.

Leon, Liora, and Zarga who wanted to leave stopped moving. They were focused on listening to the girl.

"I'd also like to invite you to come to my birthday party later tonight." As the courage that came out of nowhere, Sally continued to say what she had planned.

This time it was not only Alex who was shocked when he heard it, Leon, Liora and Zarga were shocked and amazed to hear the girl's words. How dare he invite an Alex to his party?

As soon as Liora remembered Vero, she also did not give any certainty of whether or not to come to Sally's party.

"All of you also I invite Mister, Miss. I'd be so lucky if you'd come to that party." I don't know what kind of courage that perched on Sally, until she invited everyone who was there.

"Crazy, he's brave." Zarga was really amazed to see the courage of sally, even though he did not know that the girl was trembling half to death.

"Basic crazy." Unlike Zarga, Alex looks very dislike hearing party invitations from Sally.

"We will come" said Leon surprised all those who stared intently.

"Thank you, sir." Sally was really happy, it seemed like she did not regret coming to this place.

Then Sally paused to leave the place, not forgetting she returned to say thank you.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" ask Leon after Sally gets out of there. "Once in a while we should also have fun, let's just say we free ourselves later tonight."

"But Mr-" Alex completely disagrees with Leon's decision.

"Cancel all business tonight, we'll come to the girl's party."
