Chapter 26. Injured Deep Enough.

One bullet managed to pierce Liora's stomach making her sit her on the ground.

They beat up all the enemies, both with guns, knives and such. Vero was seen beating them blindly, he completely vaporized all his emotions with a body that had also been injured a lot. Not long after, Alex, Zarga, Arya and Leon ran towards where Liora was.

"Milk!" leon shouted as he saw Liora sitting while leaning against a tree.

"You're not papa?" tanyan Leon worriedly, as well as the others.

"I'm fine," Liora replied as she pressed down on her stomach.they all saw the blood that had soaked Leora's clothes.

Leon carried Liora and took her away from that place with Arya. Along the way, Leon continued to hold Liora's hand, not forgetting that she kept talking so that Leora would not lose consciousness.

Then the operation began. Leon waits in front of the operating room, he continues to pray for the operation to run smoothly and Liora is fine. 15 minutes have passed, seen Alex, Zarga, Vero and Samuel come to him.

"How's Miss, Mister ?" Alex was really worried about the state of her young lady.

"He's still in surgery" Leon replied softly.

"Miss is a strong woman, miss must be fine" said Zarga to appease Leon.

Everyone was silent in front of the operating room. In their hearts they continued to pray for Leora's safety. Like Vero who had been unable to speak. He feels very guilty for what happened to the woman if he does not take her away, if he does not bring Leora there, and many more if he regrets.

Tears dripped down his face, he was no longer even able to hold his head up. All regret enveloped his heart at this moment.

Samuel patted Vero's shoulder gently, knowing what his best friend was feeling at the time. "Trust me Miss Liora will be fine." He gave encouragement to her.

"It's not all your fault." Leon made a sound as his eyes saw how sad Vero was, the man really loved his sister very much.

"Everything's happened." Leon leaned back his body, it felt like he could do nothing either.

Alex stared at Vero. It wasn't the man's fault, but if he hadn't taken Liora away, none of this would have happened. It was seen that he was grinding his teeth because he was holding back emotions.

40 Minutes have passed. Finally the room was open as well. Arya and the doctors and nurses who performed the operation.

Finally they could all breathe a sigh of relief hearing it.

"We're going to move him to the treatment room, but for tonight, no one's going to see him. Let the patient rest" explained Arya.

Then they took Liora to the treatment room. Vero stared at the pale face lying there wanting to feel as if he was hugging her tightly.

"Can I wait for Liora here, sir?" asked Vero for permission, he looked very hopeful to accompany the woman.

Leon looked towards Vero, how messy the young man was right now. "Finely treat the wounds in your body." He spoke with great emphasis.

Vero was not aware that if he was injured, he was only focusing on Liora. "I'm fine, sir." He really doesn't care about himself.

"Liora will be angry if you see you like that." Arya came to them, then treated Vero's arm and back that were scratched by a knife.

Samuel, who had been silent, said, he prayed for Liora's recovery.

"Thank you for your help all this time, Mr. Samuel," said Leon, who felt much indebted to Samuel before Leon and his men came, Samuel had already come first when Liora and Vero were besieged.

"I'm glad to be able to help you, sir," Samuel replied, then he said goodbye to all of them for having to go to meet someone.

"All right, you all need to rest. There's nothing you can do here. Liora will not be aware because of the influence of the operation," said Arya who saw the tired face of all of them.

However, they did not move from that place at all because they wanted to accompany Liora.

"Go to my room, you can rest there" Arya told them all. "You too, Vero. Let the nurses take care of him. We must rest to welcome him tomorrow." he said.
