Chapter 51. Feeling Weird.

The days had passed since the last time Liora met Vero. The joy that began to stop in the heart of the girl, immediately disappeared along with the disappearance of hope of love with the person she liked.

Vero also spends a lot of time working. He grew his cafe business to the point of having opened a new branch, making his employees very surprised to see such a big change in their boss. However, they also did not dare to ask. As of now, the clock has shown at 1 pm but Vero is still busy struggling with his work.

"Hey, let's eat!" take Samuel with you while you sneak into Vero's room.

Vero lifted his head from work. "You're all, I'm not hungry." He replied nonchalantly, then turned his gaze back towards the laptop.

"It's noon, Vero. You must eat" said Samuel, sitting before his friend.

Vero did not respond to Samuel's remarks, he remained focused on continuing his work.

"Huh." Samuel exhaled a coarse breath, he was already perplexed as to how else to persuade Vero. Then, he suddenly remembered something.

"Oh yes, last night I met Miss Liora," said Samuel slowly, he wanted to see how his best friend reacted.

For a few seconds Vero stopped his working hand upon hearing Liora's name, but then he continued on again and went back to his usual attitude.

"Then ?" ask Vero without looking at Samuel.

"He attended the party with Marvel" Samuel said in a slower voice, even with his slow voice he could barely hear his own voice.

"Oh." That's the only answer that came out of Vero's mouth.

Samuel frowned because he was astonished. Vero would have cried out hysterically and immediately felt sad, but now, why did he look so calm hearing that?

"Are you okay, Vero?" samuel asked worriedly, he felt that something was wrong with his friend.

"I'm good," replied Vero while closing the laptop that had kept him busy.

"Well," Samuel replied awkwardly.

"I don't think you're doing well, Vero, you look really creepy." Samuel felt goosebumps with just the look in his eyes.

"Em .., if so I will go back to the dul's office" Samuel said. Somehow he felt uncomfortable lingering in the room.

"Wait," hold Vero. It seemed like he wanted to say something to Samuel and looked at the man intently. "Have you ever had contact with Marvel?" He asked curiously. Samuel used to hide a cooperative relationship with Liora, maybe the man was also related to Marvel.

"Marvels? no," Samuel quickly replied, he was a little bit kegety when Vero mentioned the man's name.

"It turns out he's a pretty dangerous person huh, deserved Liora was afraid of him," Vero said bitterly, making Samuel swallow his saliva violently.

"I think you know who Marvel really is?" asked Vero sharply, making Samuel to the point of not blinking a look at him.

Samuel nodded his head, and there was no benefit in lying. "Well, I know." He answered honestly.

Who is not familiar with Marvel Herious? A great businessman who inherited the wealth of the Herious family, even the father was dubbed as the king of the business of his great ranking plays tricks in the world of business. All of that certainly decreased in the only son in the family, namely Marvel.

Their business has spread throughout the country and also abroad, it is certain that they have a certain group that maintains their business known as the devil in the mafia world.

They traded buy various kinds of complete weapons of the latest and old output, but still very much in demand. Their name became more famous when Marvel became the leader, he managed to develop his weapons business to areas that are not affordable by others.

"How's the devil? What is comparable to the Zander clan?" vero asked meaningfully, of course his words made Samuel gasp.

"What does that mean? Does Vero want to go back to his clan and fight Marvel?" Samuel became rattled himself when he imagined it, maybe it really happened?

"i-it .., maybe it's worth it," Samuel answered softly, his heart pounding now.

Then there was no reply from Vero, no matter what he was thinking at the moment.

"Are you going to do something?" samuel asked in full search, he should know what the man was planning.

"Of course" Vero answered quickly.

"What?" Samuel looked at her seriously and wondered.

"Of course it brought Liora back to me" Vero said casually, making Samuel flutter upon hearing her. "I miss him so much." He added with a smile, but somehow the smile looked creepy in Samuel's eyes.

"Listen, Vero. You have to think before you do something" said Samuel, he was already anxious to see the strange behavior of his best friend.

Vero chuckles. "You think I want to do what the hell? I just miss Liora, that's all." He chuckles. "Come, we'll eat!" He took a meal and walked out of the room.

"What happened to you, Vero? Why is your nature so gini?" Samuel never thought to see Vero's behavior. "I'll keep an eye on him."
