THE FIGHT TO BE KING
CHAPTER 12: THE SHOCK
Before leaving, Myro picked up a sword in the corner of his room before rushing away from the room with Ren following behind him.
Myro moves quietly away from this house so as not to wake his mother, Myro does this for fear of making his mother even more sad when seeing Myro's departure.
While passing through the door of his mother's room, Myro looked at the door muttering in a small voice "Mother, when I return later from the battlefield and have become a noble, I will definitely return to see mother again. Back then, I must have made Baron Aras regretful for underestimating mother, a great woman who gave birth to a great child as well!".
Myro felt tears might fall from his eyes, but Myro still decided to hold back those tears so as not to make a fuss that might wake his mother up.
Ren who was behind Myro only observed for a while before starting to note his thoughts that Myro seemed to care about his mother very much, as a follower of Myro, Ren must prepare a strategy in the future so that something bad does not happen to Myro's mother because it certainly makes Myro sad.
After they left this house, Myro immediately took Ren to the field where he often practiced.
Today there was absolutely no training because the field was used to gather the troops that the Baron had prepared when Myro left, so the children could not train at all in this place.
When I reached the field, Myro had found some residents who were sitting bored on the ground while carrying weapons and wearing iron armor. These residents did not have the aura of a soldier in the slightest, they gathered in the field while talking to their acquaintances like they were in the market.
Ren's face became gloomy as he saw all this, as an intelligent strategist then Ren could see that these people were not soldiers but rather residents who were given weapons.
But Ren did not act recklessly, even though Myro had never been so he also held back his anger and acted when he already knew the situation more clearly.
Myro did not care about the troops who looked like they were in this market, he walked with Ren directly to the center of the field where Baron Aras was waiting there with Luca and his mother who was the sister of a Baron.
Luca smiled mockingly towards Myro, he was furious that yesterday Myro frightened him, therefore Luca was very happy to know that Myro was sent to the battlefield to die through his mother.
But when Luca looks towards Ren then his whole body freezes, he is shocked at Ren's beauty. As the talented son of the Baron Aras family and his mother was also the younger brother of a Baron, there were many women trying to approach him, there were even quite a number of beautiful women.
The problem is that he has never found a very beautiful woman like Ren, let alone Ren giving the aura of an intelligent learned person. In addition, the confident smile on Ren's face gave him more traction, as if Ren could solve all the problems.
Not only Luca was surprised, Baron Aras himself was also surprised by Ren's appeal. Even Baron felt that if he was 10 years younger then he would have tried to chase after this Ren as well, but he was old now so it was better to hand Ren over to his children besides Myro.
However Myro will die, would it not be better to give a beauty like Ren to Luca or Teira, let alone Baron Aras to find that Luca seems to be interested in this woman. Baron Aras had already thought of a plan to get this woman from Myro, after all he believed Ren was following Myro for being tricked by him using the title of Baron's son, after all, without knowing that Myro is actually the least talented son of the Baron.
"Dad, thank you for bothering to come here" Myro said with a polite smile, after all there was no need to make Baron Aras hostile to him.
Baron Aras also smiled widely, he should not show Myro's weakness as quickly as possible in front of Ren so as not to look excessive "This is what you should do!".
"But father, I actually don't need this army at all, let all these residents return to their respective homes" Myro said unconcernedly.
A man behind the Baron stepped forward angrily, he drew his sword and slashed towards Myro. He planned to injure Myro slightly but not fatally, this was done to teach Myro who dared to fight the Baron.
Myro slightly observed this man who was none other than the right hand of the Baron, different from Ferbas who became the butler and left hand, the right hand of this Baron was the strongest general under Baron Aras.
Therefore, it could be said that the strength of this man was the strongest in this Aras City because the Baron was old which made his strength weaken.
When everyone thought that the man's sword would hurt Myro, even Baron did not plan to stop his right hand from teaching Myro to be polite and not to reject the Baron's plan, Ren who was behind Myro stepped forward.
Ren moves the folding fan in his hand to collide with Baron's right-hand sword, Ren uses the sharp side of his folding fan to stop the man's sword.
"But!".
Everyone was shocked when Ren's folding fan could actually stop the sword from the man, after all the folding fan shouldn't be a weapon. Not to mention that this man was the strongest person in this city, even the Baron was unsure of being able to stop his sword so easily.
After successfully stopping the man's sword, Ren moved forward nimbly and pointed the sharp side of his folding sword towards the man's neck.
The man who was Baron's right hand broke out in cold sweat when Ren's folding fan was around his neck, he knew that as long as he did a little more foolish movement then the folding fan might slash his neck.
"I don't care who you are, but if you dare to injure my master then you must be prepared to die! Do you understand?", said Ren coldly "If you were not my master's acquaintance, I would have slashed your neck".
The man nodded quickly which showed he understood, Ren pulled his folding fan then kicked the man's stomach which made him flung for several meters.
"Shelf!".
The strongest man in Aras City landed hard on the ground due to Ren's kick, he lay in pain on the ground before losing consciousness, most likely Ren's kick had already broken some bones of the man.
Be it Baron Aras, Luca, or even the residents who were armed with Barons and gathered in this field were shocked.
This unknown woman who looked unable to fight could actually defeat the strongest man in Aras City, everyone was surprised from where exactly Myro could get such a powerful beautiful woman.
Myro was actually also surprised, he had previously thought that Ren was just a strategist so he could not fight. But Myro now knows that he was wrong, not only is Ren intelligent but Ren is also strong enough to fight directly against even enemy forces.
Ren is an intelligent strategist and general who can fight on the battlefield.
