CHAPTER 218: WASTING TIME
Bofer was a little surprised, then he felt his deputy's words were most likely true.

The 4th Division built a quadrilateral formation, the shield and spear troops were at the very front of the line which showed they were actually forming an anti-cavalry formation.
Amidst the formation of the 4th division, Bofer continued to direct his soldiers with a stern face. Bofer was able to sit in the position of the 4th division head not without reason, at least his ability as a general was quite strong, far above the Serpent Myro had encountered.
Seeing the enemy finished forming the formation, Falka led his troops towards the formation directly.
But when Bofer thought Falka was a fool who was carrying his cavalry army towards destruction under the spear formation belonging to the 4th division, Falka's cavalry suddenly changed its direction.
Falka led 10,000 cavalry and turned left while Herfu took another 10,000 to the right, they stopped quite far from the formation of the 4th division troops which made the 4th division spear unable to hit them.
Falka and Herfu carried their troops around in circles around the 4th division army, but they never attacked except Falka and the Mongol Cavalry who wore their bows.
The problem is that every enemy force wears full armor, the number of casualties due to the Falka bow and Mongol Cavalry is very small which does not make the 4th division worried.
At first Bofer thought Falka and Herfu were waiting for a gap while revolving around his troops, as long as the 4th division showed a gap then the cavalry would attack.
But after Falka and Herfu did not attack for 30 minutes, Bofer's face changed.
He was no fool, Falka and Herfu were wasting time not waiting for the gap in the formation of the 4th division but were waiting for their relief troops to arrive, instead, the enemy cavalry tried to hold the 4th division in place until their main force arrived.
Bofer felt a bad premonition, he began to rethink whether Pube's defeat was really due to succumbing or being defeated by the powerful forces that were currently attacking him?
Bofer gritted his teeth, he knew that they should not continue like this. Although attacking the cavalry directly was very risky for the infantry troops, yet they won the number. Moreover, they had to defeat the enemy cavalry troops and then escape from this place before the main enemy army arrived.
