CHAPTER 177: THE INDUCEMENT
Myro climbed back up to his chariot and left the palace under a curious gaze and interested in other officials.
Even some people wondered if Myro was married or not, as long as Myro did not mind then they would send their daughter to Myro.
Not only that, some lower officials did not hesitate to offer his daughter to Myro despite not being the main wife.
After all everyone knew Myro would most likely rise to a high position in the Azeroth Kingdom. At the age of 15, Myro managed to achieve the title of Earl without any background support.
If Myro bequeathed the title of Earl from his father then these officials would not be so eager, but Myro managed to rise using his own strength which made them know that Myro was a talented person.
Facing the offers of many people, Myro could only politely decline. After all they were all still officials of the Azeroth Kingdom, if Myro was hostile to all of them then Myro would be in trouble. So Myro refused politely, without hurting anyone's feelings.
But these officials were very stubborn, they did not let Myro get on his horse-drawn carriage.
Herfu and Loir did not help Myro at all, rather Herfu was still in the palace and talked to some of his old friends and the king while Loir went first with his close friends.
Based on Myro's observation, there was most likely a woman Loir liked in his group of friends that made him always go with them excitedly.
Looking at his master who was trapped among the officials, Yorou planned to make a move. Although he should not kill these important people from Azeroth Kingdom, there was no problem for Yorou to push them away from her master.
But before Yorou could make a move, a voice stopped the movements of the officials around "Everything, Earl Myro is planning to return to his house but your actions are blocking the Earl! He had only arrived at the capital a few days ago, so let Earl Myro rest for a while".
Everyone stared towards the origin of the voice before kneeling respectfully "Minister Piryo".
Myro also looked towards Piryo who was the Education Minister of Azeroth Kingdom, a figure under the prime minister and was part of the 10 ministers equivalent to Lapter.
Piryo waved her hand no matter "Everything, don't be too polite, even though I'm a minister, but I'm a minister of education who doesn't have any major influence on the kingdom. In the end the power in my hands is not necessarily as good as you".
Everyone around smiled bitterly, although the minister of education had the weakest power in the 10 ministers, yet he was still an influential minister in the Azeroth Kingdom. Compared to Piryo, they were just children in front of adults.
"Earl Myro, if you don't mind, can you take me back home? It seemed like the horse was carrying my carriage a little sick, therefore I was afraid of something bad happening on the road later so that I could only join someone else's horse carriage to return home", said Piryo sighing.
Myro rolled his eyes, only a fool would believe Piryo's words.
No matter what happens to his horse-drawn carriage, Piryo is a minister. As long as he spoke, thousands of people must have prepared a horse carriage for him in less than a minute.
But Myro also understood that Piryo was trying to talk to him, for that reason he sought Myro's permission to ride in the same horse-drawn carriage.
The 2 people rode towards the horse carriage under the gazes of the other officials.
Ren is also a smart person, he sits in the front which is the position of the horse coachman with Yorou so as not to disturb the conversation Myro.
As for the possibility of Piryo coming to kill Myro in a horse carriage, Ren is sure he will not do that.
However Piryo was a minister, unless Myro really posed a life-and-death threat to him, Piryo would not be so foolish as to try to kill Myro with his own hands because even if he succeeded though, Piryo would not be so foolish as to try to kill Myro with his own hands, killing a noble in the capital for no reason would be punishable by death.
Myro's carriage slowly moved away from the palace, Piryo told Yorou the position of her house before starting to talk with Myro again.
Myro was observing Piryo carefully right now. Piryo is about 40 years old with a handsome face and a gentle smile that can still attract the attention of women.
His eyes shone brightly which showed he was a knowledgeable person, but there were no muscles on his body as well as marks on his hands due to frequent practice of swords or other weapons, he said, therefore Myro believes Piryo is not an expert in fighting.
Piryo certainly felt Myro was observing him, but Piryo was not angry at all because they were new to him, it was not strange that Myro tried to know him.
Piryo stared at Myro before speaking "Earl Myro, do you know the current state of Azeroth Kingdom?".
Myro certainly knows the state of Azeroth Kingdom now where many officials and nobles are divided in favor of different princes.
But there were 2 strong groups among the officials as well as the nobles that were the 7th prince support group which was mostly made up of officials and nobles who were far from the capital, then the other group were those who remained loyal to King Azeroth V. No matter who King Azeroth V chose in the future as king, this group of loyal people would not hesitate to support the prince chosen by King Azeroth V.
Myro knew but he could not say this matter carelessly "Minister Piryo, I know the state of Azeroth Kingdom is now led by the intelligent and wise King Azeroth V! As long as King Azeroth V took the lead, the kingdom would definitely remain prosperous".
Piryo stared intently at Myro, knowing that Myro was acting as if he did not know, so Piryo continued to say to the core of his goal "Earl Myro, do you know who was most harmed when the princes fought each other?".
"Who?", Myro asked unconcernedly.
"That's them being neutral!", said Piryo carefully "I know Earl Myro is a smart man, so I won't explain too much. But do not assume a neutral group that does not support anyone is the least risky because when there are parties who win, they only need to support it. Without them knowing, when there is a winning party, the neutral group must be slowly discarded. No matter who the leader won, they would definitely dislike a neutral group that previously did not dare to support them against another rival".
"What does Minister Piryo mean, I have to choose the side that I have to support so as not to get stuck in the neutral group that must be harmed?", asked Myro who had seen Piryo's goal to meet him.
"Right, as long as the side we support loses then we are definitely put to death. But when the side we support wins, our position is definitely increased, even Earl Myro can become the Grand Duke as a reward! This was an advantage in favor of the side that managed to win!", said Piryo trying to persuade Myro.
