THE FIGHT TO BE KING

THE FIGHT TO BE KING
CHAPTER 284: NEW PROVINCE AND GOVERNOR

Hearing Myro's words, not a single resident cried out in support of him but they kept silent or stared at each other in confusion and worry.

After all they had heard of the Victory Count, but they did not know what kind of figure the Victory Count really was.

Even King Albert and the Orc army had previously said the Victory Count was a wicked and cruel man, he used Orc or Goblin meat like food, especially those who were children.

Therefore, the residents were a little afraid of Myro.

Seeing the attitude of the residents, Myro was not surprised. Conversely, if the residents directly support Myro, he will feel strange.

Myro had only occupied the Orc-Goblin Kingdom completely in less than a week, most of the people here did not know Myro either, why they had to support him.

Myro did not panic against the silent population but instead went back to explaining "You need not worry, even though I am a human, I will not treat humans, Orcs, Goblins, and half-animal humans differently. Anyone who commits a crime will be punished according to the law, there is no difference! So you don't have to worry! Besides, I'll make sure all the courts and law officers are fair".

"I don't think this matter matters much, after the morning meeting is over, you will receive a notice paper from the Victory Squad around you. The paper records the laws of the Kingdom of Azeroth, you must remember them so as not to make mistakes".

"We will talk to the main part now, every city in the Orc-Goblin Kingdom of the past, I will establish a free school like the one located in Victory Province. Then concerning the matter of your territory, now you are not a kingdom but a part of the Kingdom of Azeroth! I will merge the past territory of the Orc-Goblin Kingdom with the northern mountains, from now on this entire region is referred to as Tanrou Province, I appoint Tanrou Muteki as governor and Taredo as deputy governor".

Myro pointed towards Muteki and Taredo who were standing not far from there.

The reason Myro chose Muteki as governor was that he and Yuki became an important part of the plan to form Tanrou Province, he took the name of the province from the name Tanrou also aims to show how important the hard work of his brother Tanrou to seize the northern mountains and the Orc-Goblin Kingdom to Myro.

So Myro appointed Muteki governor and named his territory as Tanrou Province in Myro's gratitude for their hard work.

Yuki refuses to join the government because he does not have this ability, Yuki prefers to continue following Myro to the battlefield.

While Muteki is different, although he has the ability of a general, he is also an expert on government matters.

According to Yuki, all the matters of the Tanrou Family's territory in the World were managed by her brother.

In addition, soldiers and residents in the northern mountains also recognized the greatness of Muteki managing the region, and, especially the Snow Wolf Village who had once sent a report to Myro regarding their gratitude for Myro's help as well as telling the greatness of Muteki and Yuki.

Therefore, Myro appointed Muteki as governor due to his hard work, ability and loyalty.

Taredo had indeed fought a lot on the battlefield, let alone he was an Orc that made the inhabitants of the Orc-Goblin Kingdom might support him.

But Myro does not trust Taredo too much, at least Taredo's loyalty is still less than those from the World.

The position of Governor of Tanrou Province was too important for Myro because all the power in the entire province would fall into the hands of the governor, Myro could not risk giving such an important position to others.

Muteki and Taredo bowed under the gazes of all the inhabitants who introduced themselves.

"Alright, the next change of the new rules of Tanrou Province will be explained directly by the governor and vice governor both regarding taxes and other issues", it was Myro who made room for Muteki and Taredo to introduce themselves and show their leadership in front of the residents.

Muteki and Taredo stepped forward, they stood in the position where Myro had been before and began to introduce themselves and explain the new rules of Tanrou Province.

Seeing Muteki explaining and leading without any problems, Myro smiled before turning to the palace.

The task here has been completed, let Muteki as the governor who continues his task of managing this region.

Myro was a nobleman who controlled 2 provinces, he could not possibly manage 2 provinces alone as a governor.

So in Victory Province there was Feld who helped him, while in Tanrou Province there was Muteki.

Myro only needs to act in case of an important problem that the governor cannot solve.

Although Tanrou Province is called a province, but its territory is quite large. More than half of the Orc-Goblin Kingdom and the northern mountains became the territory of Tanrou Province which meant that quite a number of villages as well as towns were located in the province.

Ren and Yorou followed Myro away to the palace, the curious Yorou from not being able to not ask "Is it okay to give Muteki such power directly? Most of the inhabitants of Tanrou Province are animal humans, Orcs, and Goblins. Even if Muteki receives support from animal humans, the Orcs and Goblins may not accept him as a half-human white tiger".

Before Myro said anything, Ren spoke first "Don't worry, Muteki's ability isn't bad to lead a province. Maybe the ability is still under Feld as governor, but he has advantages that Feld does not have that are cruel! Feld was the original governor, rather than coming from the military which made him happy to settle matters by peaceful means rather than war. Unless there was no choice, Feld would not use war to solve the problem".

"But Muteki is different, he is half military and half government! He dared to use peaceful or war as long as he could solve the problem as quickly as possible and effectively! He was an expert in leading the army as well, for the still chaotic region of Tanrou Province, Muteki was the best choice".

Myro agreed "Tanrou Province is made up of 4 different races if I add humans in the future, it is not strange that rebellions and chaos continue for several months to years. For that reason, Muteki is the most suitable governor here than Feld".

"Muteki was able to manage the city like a governor, but on the other hand he was able to fight the rebels as well through warfare! After a year at most, I believe Muteki will succeed in bringing peace to Tanrou Province and clearing the entire rebellion".

Before Yorou said anything more, Yuki's figure appeared from in front of them "Master, you're there! I have done as the master said, everyone was captured, no one managed to escape!".

Hearing Yuki's report, Myro smiled "Then let's meet King Albert now and end the Orc-Goblin Kingdom completely!".
