THE FIGHT TO BE KING

THE FIGHT TO BE KING
CHAPTER 323: DISTURBED

Seeing this mother and son, Myro suddenly remembered something "Where are the other General Kelrun's troops? Did they also come to Loth City?".

Kelrun's wife immediately replied "Mr Duke, after we heard you decided to go to the Diamant Kingdom, we hurried to your territory to thank you and plan to help you bring my husband back. But in the middle of the road, troops from the Kingdom of Azeroth interrupted our journey on the grounds that such a large army had to obtain King Azeroth VI's permission before moving. Therefore, the army remained in Azeroth Kingdom and looked for a way to escape from it while we moved here first".

"For tens of thousands of troops, it is difficult to leave the Kingdom of Azeroth without officials being known there. But if only 2 people leave, we can hide from the officials and guards without any problems".

Hearing Kelrun's wife's explanation, Myro nodded without a slight strange taste.

After all the surviving Kelrun troops were not few at all, King Azeroth VI would definitely not let such an army go so easily. Moreover, they were trying to go to the Myro region and maybe join his army, King Azeroth VI would not agree to know about it.

Ren stepped forward and said to Myro "Master, what should we do? Are we going to stay resting in Loth City or go towards Azeroth Kingdom to help?".

Although Ren knew it was best not to attack Azeroth Kingdom again, however, their forces were just at war and in need of rest. But in the end all the decisions were in Myro's hands, so Ren asked first.

Myro did not answer directly but looked back where the coffins of tens of thousands of troops gathered together with the coffins of Kelrun. True, Myro lost tens of thousands of troops and decided to bring their corpses back to Loth City, instead of being buried in the Diamant Kingdom.

The reason the Diamant Kingdom was an enemy kingdom, Myro was not interested in letting the corpses of the troops who had sacrificed their lives due to Myro's decision to be buried in the enemy kingdom.

At the very least, let them be buried in the land that became their home as well as their families.

Except for the crucial circumstances that caused Myro to have to bury his dead army as quickly as possible, Myro must have brought the corpses of his troops back to their home of Loth City as well as the surrounding area.

Thinking for a while, Myro sighed "No need, let them find their own way of leaving Azeroth Kingdom. If they join forces to become soldiers of Azeroth Kingdom, I don't mind. But just in case, give a letter to King Azeroth VI that he let General Kelrun's army go! We must bury our comrades who have died in this war! Feld, Ren, they all died for my ambitions, give them the best funeral and don't forget their families. If they have a wife and children, give their family enough living expenses. At the very least, the children of the dead soldiers were able to attend school until graduation! When they have very old parents, let our government take care of them".

"Make sure that the families of soldiers who have died on the battlefield do not suffer from lack of money or food due to the loss of their family head, their father or husband, who died on the battlefield, everything is covered using government money!".

Feld and Ren knelt down without hesitation "I understand, sir!".

Feld who set up the government said firmly "Master need not worry, Feld will intervene on his own to make sure the lord's aid money reaches the hands of the soldiers' families who have been left behind and not go into the pockets of others!".

Myro nodded and did not speak anymore. This is a war, Myro can't avoid casualties at all.

If Myro is not interested his army is dead, then, so he does not need to be king because the way to become king must definitely make many of his troops become victims unless Myro is a prince in a peaceful kingdom so that he can ascend the throne without any war.

Myro would do his best to get them a funeral like a soldier, and then he would give help to the families of the soldiers who were left behind.

Unlike the Azeroth Kingdom or the Diamant Kingdom which gave very little pension or death money so that the families of the abandoned warriors lived starving lives, Myro would give them enough money to eat as well as the children of soldiers who died for school until graduation.

Despite spending a lot of money though, Myro did not mind. These warriors fought until they lost their lives to Myro's ambition, and so Myro should have avenged their sacrifice. As Myro said before, kindness is for good.

"Let's go to Loth City! I will bury General Kelrun with tens of thousands of my fallen troops in the Diamant Kingdom tomorrow, do you mind?", Myro asked Kelrun's wife and son.

Kelrun's wife shook her head "My husband, Kelrun during his life was not happy to be treated specifically by others. So Mr. Duke doesn't need to give him a special funeral, I'm sure he's very happy to be buried with Mr. Duke's brave army. After all without the sacrifice of this army, Kelrun would not return to Loth City".

Myro admits that it was not only Kelrun who had a good attitude during his life, Kelrun's wife was also a good person, it was not strange that many people in Azeroth Kingdom respected them.

After which, Myro rushed towards Loth City with his troops.

Myro did not directly pass through the gates of Loth City but instead stood in front of the gate and let the coffin be stored first at the Loth City hospital until tomorrow's funeral.

At first the residents planned to give a shout of victory when Myro and his troops came, but they were shocked to find not Myro and his troops passing through Loth City first but tens of thousands of coffins.

The happy state around Loth City turned grim, some people started to cry or pay their respects to every passing coffin.

After all these coffins were brave warriors, without the sacrifice of these warriors, Loth City and Victory Province would not be able to prosper as they were now.

Seeing the state turning grim, Myro sighed "This is war! There is nothing good about war but sadness and loss".

Kelrun's son who didn't understand anything looked at Myro confusedly "Then, why are you fighting? When war brings only sorrow and loss, why don't you stop fighting?".

"Why?", said Myro with a sad smile "Because war is inevitable! If I refuse to fight and stop strengthening the army, the enemy will not let me live in peace but attack me and control all the territory I have, many people who are important to me will die! Therefore, I must be strong enough and end this war! In order not to lose the important people around me, I must fight and win!".

"I don't understand" said the Kelrun's son getting confused.

Myro gently held his head and said "Someday you will understand, war is needed to make peace! But I guess when you understand that, the war might have worked! I will make a peaceful kingdom and end the war!".
