CHAPTER 264: TEMPORARY PEACE
2 Days had passed since the last battle between the Myro forces against Guliger, the 2 sides had both stayed on opposite sides and built their respective camps where the soldiers lived.
Many of the troops on the battlefield were confused, exactly what was going on here?
After all, their distance was only a few thousand meters apart, therefore war should be frequent.
But during these 2 days, not a single war had occurred. Neither Myro nor Guliger decided to have all the soldiers rest for a while until the chances of winning arrived.
The one who conveyed Myro's decision to all the troops was not Myro himself, but Ren.
However, no one is suspicious of Myro's disappearance because Ren often appears to represent Myro.
So Myro's forces had no chaos, and Guliger couldn't wait any longer.

Because of this, Guliger decided not to wait any longer. If it continues like this, there is a possibility that the officials on Myro's side will continue to keep Myro's situation secret for months or even years.
On the 3rd day, Guliger sent several Orcs or Goblins in disguise towards the Myro camp.
Their existence was not intended to attack Myro or his troops secretly as spies but spread the word to Myro's forces that Myro was dead.
At first many people thought the news was fake, they did not believe Myro was actually killed by the enemy, let alone Myro always being in a command tent position away from the battlefield.
But past the 5th day and no news or Myro showed himself, some people began to doubt.
It is true that since the war began and they retreated, the figure of Myro has never been seen again.
The news, which was originally thought to be the wind then, now disturbed some of the soldiers.
On Day 7, some of the troops tried to ask their captain while the captain asked the general, but no one gave a definite answer.
Herfu shook his head at the captain's question about Myro's news, he was worried but he did not know whether the news was true or not because he had never met Myro again since they withdrew from the battlefield.
Retya, Fred, Gladius, Garwein and Aclan all kept their mouths shut without saying anything about Myro's problem.
The elite troops such as the knights and the Roman Legion did not panic or worry, their faces remained firm as before.
But an army like 40,000 cavalry and 50,000 Victory Troops, panic ensued between them.
Not only that, some of the spies that Luca persuaded to betray Myro came into motion.
At first they were hesitant to betray Myro, but after Luca's book of Myro's possessions and death, they agreed.
After all Myro never showed himself again which led them to believe Luca was not lying, Myro was dead.
What puzzled Luca the most was Myro's army of knights and the Roman Legion, he secretly sent representatives to meet some of the knights or the Roman Legion.
Luca persuaded them to use a great deal of property, power or wealth, but all refused Luca's invitation.
He could not forget, the icy faces of the knights or the Roman Legion, they still did not care how much wealth and power Luca offered.
Even so, Luca felt the traitor on Myro's side was enough so he didn't have to bother persuading them anymore. If the knights and the Roman Legion remained stubborn against him, they would only have to die.
Day 8, Retya goes to the frantic Victory Army barracks.
He stood in front of everyone and said coldly "You are disappointing, my lord has given you a chance to show your ability and loyalty, but the result? Very disappointing! Those who betray Luca and spread unnecessary word go forth, do not make me pull you out of line!".
The 50,000 Victory Troops became silent, they stared at each other but no one dared to advance.
As an army under Retya, they knew clearly the nickname of the blood demon on the battlefield that Retya belonged to not without reason, it was unknown how many people were killed under his hands. As long as they advance, they must die.
Seeing that no one had advanced, the smile on Retya's face grew even colder, he shook his head "I trained you all these years according to my master's decision, but the result was too disappointing! Since you guys don't dare to go forward, let me punish you directly!".
When Retya's words were finished, thousands of knights rushed up and captured all the traitors in the Victory Squad.
Not only the Victory Army, Herfu troops and 40,000 cavalry were captured.

Herfu shook his head and stopped thinking about the matter, he more or less understood now why Carla always forbade him from being in the opposite position from Myro.

Ren went to a tent in the center of the camp and was the biggest tent.
He walked towards a man sitting at the desk looking at the battlefield map against Guliger.
"Master, everything is going according to plan, the Victory Army under the command of the lord should not have any more problems. I'm sure for the near future, they don't dare to have such foolish thoughts of betraying again given how fate their friends today who dared to betray master" Ren said bowed.
