THE FIGHT TO BE KING

THE FIGHT TO BE KING
CHAPTER 279: ORC AND GOBLIN ATTITUDES

Hearing Ren's words, Muteki couldn't help but ask "Miss Ren, why do you think the Goblins will open the gates of the capital tomorrow night? Although the relationship of Orcs and Goblins was very bad, however they had worked together to defend the kingdom for hundreds of years, it might be quite difficult to break them down completely".

Different from the other followers who have been with Myro for a long time so they find out how frightening Ren's ability to make plans is, Muteki and Yuki have been in the northern mountains so far that they are not too familiar with Ren's abilities.

Therefore, Muteki is curious why Ren is able to so confidently say the Goblin will open the gates of the capital tomorrow night, he has absolutely no intention whatsoever to make things difficult for Ren but Muteki is just curious.

Ren is neither angry nor resentful at Muteki's question, but he smiles silently behind his folding fan "You are right, Orcs and Goblins have been in the Orc-Goblin Kingdom for hundreds of years, they always work together to defend this kingdom. So, it was difficult to make them hostile towards each other until the Goblins betrayed. But I have a reason why the Goblins will rebel so quickly, the reason is the existence of master!".

"The master's words of the day may seem to have no effect because King Albert tried to suppress the Goblin's enmity, but in fact the master's words were fuel, a fuel for the fire called the Goblin rebellion! When the Goblins realized the Orcs were still trying to make things difficult for them, the Goblins must have remembered all the master's words earlier this afternoon and started a rebellion! After all, everyone was interested in achieving their own freedom, as were the Goblins that the Orcs had been suppressing all along".

"Even if I don't have any evidence of a Goblin rebellion tomorrow, we all just have to wait whether or not all of my words will actually happen tomorrow!".

After Ren finished speaking, Myro joined in saying "As Ren said, even though there is no evidence of a Goblin rebellion tomorrow, it is not wrong to get ready! Tomorrow afternoon, I will try to shout again for the Goblins to rebel! As for all of you, make sure the entire army is always prepared so that we can directly attack as the Goblins open the gates of the capital!".

"Okay, sir!", replied everyone in the room with firmness.

...----------------...

King Albert got up early in the morning and had a brief meeting with the royal officials before deciding to go to the city wall.

Unlike yesterday where the face of King Albert only looks gloomy and worried, today King Albert looks tired and sleepless.

In fact King Albert did not sleep well last night, because the soldiers kept coming to report the situation.

As Ren explained, the equality between the Goblin and the Orc that King Albert made yesterday made many Orcs unhappy.

Although they did not dare to fight the king directly, instead they attacked the Goblins and took all their food.

At first King Albert did not think too much, he let some soldiers suppress the Orc's resistance.

But the longer, the Orc resistance became more and more excessive.

Even yesterday night, they killed and burned down the houses of dozens of sleeping Goblins on the grounds that Goblins were too arrogant.

King Albert was a little speechless, why was the Orc he was leading so stupid?

If they continued to attack Goblins like this, it was likely that the Goblins would rebel even greater. Was it difficult to do good and accept equality with the Goblins at least until Myro and his army left?

The problem is that King Albert tried to suppress the situation and discuss the matter with the Orcs, he worked hard to make the Orcs accept equality and do good to the Goblins.

But the Orcs refused, they had regarded Goblins as slaves since decades ago, how would they accept them if the Goblins they thought of as slaves suddenly became their equal? Are they considered the same as slaves as well?

Therefore, King Albert thought of a plan from last night to not being able to sleep. At most, he only slept for an hour.

He should not press the Orcs too much to accept the equality with the Goblins, but on the other hand he should suppress the rebellion as well as the Goblin's hatred of the Orcs.

No matter how hard King Albert thought, he could not solve this problem unless Myro had already left later.

The matter of enmity between Orcs and Goblins was not something that could be resolved overnight, so for a while King Albert was only trying his best so that the relationship of Orcs and Goblins would not be completely destroyed.

When he reached the top of the capital's walls, King Albert was a little surprised to find the Goblin's hostile gaze growing stronger.

A bitter smile surfaced on his face, he understood it was only a matter of time before the anger and rebellion of the Goblins exploded through their hostile gazes.

Now Goblins are like time bombs in the capital that can explode at any time, once the time bomb explodes then the enemy will definitely seize the entire capital.

Therefore, King Albert could only hope that King Azeroth would die first before the rebellion began.

This time it was not Myro who was shouting on stage but Taredo along with the Orcs and Goblins, Taredo's enticement with his army was definitely much more effective than Myro's persuasion.

Taredo led his entire army and followed Myro's men to shout "Thank your weapons! Freedom is in your own hands!".

The shout continued to echo throughout the entire Capital of the Orc-Goblin Kingdom which made the eyes of the Goblins burn even more with the flames of determination.

Seeing the Goblins' attitude and their glare at the king, the Orcs began beating the Goblins and telling them not to fight the king or to hear Taredo's enticement with Myro's army.

Even they killed some people who made the Goblins hesitant, however the Orcs had been suppressing them using force for many years which became a fear in every Goblin's mind.

King Albert sighed at the situation, but he did not stop it.

If he tried to stop the actions of the Orcs, it was likely that many Orcs would doubt his leadership.

He lost the Goblin's support, therefore he should not lose the Orc's support either. As long as the Orcs resisted him, King Albert understood that time would be the final moments of the Orc-Goblin Kingdom. Without the support of the Orcs, King Albert was unable to defend the capital.

For all these reasons, he could only be disrespectful to the Orc's cruel actions.

Myro who was observing from backstage the place where Taredo was standing immediately smiled "It seems like what Ren said is right, the Orc's attitude towards the Goblin will not change with just overnight! Most likely tonight, a huge rebel will explode that destroys the entire Capital of the Orc-Goblin Kingdom".

After learning of King Albert's attitude, Myro turned towards his tent which became the command center.

Even though the Goblins would rebel, they still had to think of the best strategy of seizing the capital in order for the casualties on their side to decrease.
