“I didn't expect you to have a dark past.” After traveling together, Chi Rong looked at Shen Lao's face intently.

“Can I tidy up your hair?” Chi Rong felt Shen Lao's long hair look very messy.

Shen Lao did not reply and simply nodded his head. When the gentle touch of Chi Rong's palm touched her hair, Shen Lao closed his eyes and enjoyed every touch of Chi Rong's hand.

Moments later, Chi Rong took Shen Lao to the river. The flow of the river water was so clear that Shen Lao was surprised by the appearance of his face and hair. But actually his gaze was directed at the face of Chi Rong who was right next to him.

“I think you're handsome.” Chi Rong said the thing that made Shen Lao smile.

“And I think you are beautiful.” Shen Lao's eyes were still staring at the water reflecting off Chi Rong's face.

“Yes, a lot of men told me that. But this is only the first time I feel happy when someone says it to me.” Chi Rong moved away from Shen Lao before leaping into the air and starting to fly continued her journey back.

Shen Lao followed Chi Rong and caught up with her, “You were the first woman to say that to me.”

Shen Lao did not deny that he had fallen in love with Chi Rong.

‘Decars of the Blue Moon Palace should not be in excessive contact with men. I have to keep my distance from him.’ Chi Rong always stayed away when Shen Lao approached her.

Shen Lao who was aware of Chi Rong's actions finally chose to keep his distance. Shen Lao learns that the Blue Moon Palace forbids women from connecting with men from Chi Rong while on a trip.

A few hours after leaving the Forest of Darkness, Shen Lao and Chi Rong finally arrived at a city.

Chi Rong explained that the city in front of them was Qudong City.

Looking at Chi Rong's body which was only wrapped in makeshift cloth. Shen Lao decided to buy clothes for himself and Chi Rong.

One of the shops that provided their clothes stopped by. Most people stared towards Chi Rong, so Shen Lao deliberately released a murderous aura to intimidate them.

Chi Rong laughed softly at Shen Lao who disliked the gazes of those who stole glances at him.

“Welcome to our store, Sir, Miss.” A middle-aged woman welcomed the arrival of Shen Lao and Chi Rong.

Shen Lao asked the middle-aged lady of the shop owner to drive them to a place that provided clothes of the best materials and quality.

Chi Rong only realized that she did not have a penny, ‘What if she knew I was this careless?’ Chi Rong looked embarrassed as Shen Lao held onto the white dress which was the most expensive outfit in the store they had stopped by.

“Servant, give me this and regular clothes for women.” Shen Lao's words made Chi Rong startled.

“I bought you those clothes. Hope you like it.” Shen Lao wanted to see Chi Rong wearing the dress he bought.

“Thanks. How do I call your name? Junior Shen?” Chi Rong was still trying to keep her distance from Shen Lao.

“Bungi, you can call me as you please. I can call you the Flower Fairy, right?” Shen Lao looked at Chi Rong's face straight.

“Are you not of noble descent? You should have called me Senior Chi!” Chi Rong stared intently at Shen Lao.

Shen Lao did not care about Chi Rong's stern words. Next Shen Lao took out a considerable amount of gold pieces.

“Young master all the amount of clothes you ordered were ten thousand pieces of gold. Actually the dress you buy has a special silk that can restore the aura.” Hearing the servant's words, Shen Lao held onto the white dress and examined it.

“Isn't this special silk from the Aura Tree?” Shen Lao raised his eyebrows, “Who made it?”

The waiter explained that about two months ago there was a beautiful woman who sold this white dress and explained the advantages of the white dress. Shen Lao knew that the price of the dress the woman was selling was not as expensive as it was now, but this was not a problem for him.

After buying clothes, Shen Lao took Chi Rong to the largest inn in Qudong City. The name of the inn is Honeymoon Inn.

“Not this inn..” Chi Rong gulped because she knew the Honeymoon Inn was a luxurious inn and had an expensive rental price.

“The name of this inn sounds ridiculous..” Shen Lao laughed softly as he invited Chi Rong to enter the inn.

The Honeymoon Inn was indeed one of the most luxurious inns in Qudong City even the Jia Empire.

“Please enter Sir, Miss.”.

The waiter explains the rental price of the inn. The top floor is the third floor has a rental price of ten gold pieces every room overnight.

Shen Lao reserved a room on the third floor. The waiter immediately escorted Shen Lao and Chi Rong to the inn room.

“Servant, can bring the most delicious dishes in this inn. Money problem no need to worry.” Shen Lao added ten gold pieces to the servant.

“I will prepare Young Master soon..” The waiter bowed and immediately rushed to prepare the food.

Shen Lao walked into the room with Chi Rong.

“Bunga Provider.” Shen Lao closed the room door and stared intently at Chi Rong.

“Replace the clothes you wear.” Shen Lao threw the white dress on the bed. Then he sat down in a chair close to the window.

Shen Lao took out resources to figure out how to make an antidote to the Eternal Torment Poison.

Chi Rong was taken aback when Shen Lao took out a resource that had high efficacy.

“Junior Shen, if I die. Please take my body to the Blue Moon Palace. That's my only request. You don't have to feel guilty.” Chi Rong had already made up her resolve and accepted reality.

Hearing that, Shen Lao hit the table in front of him, “Because of me, you were exposed to the poison wasn't you? I can't let you die!”

Shen Lao took a deep breath before meditating to find a way to cure the Eternal Torment Poison in the memories of the legacy of that God Spirit and the Thousand Knowledge Pill.

There is a way to make a poison cure. The ingredients are resources that exist in the Eternal Gorge.

Chi Rong was touched when she saw Shen Lao making pills for her. While waiting for the dishes served by the inn, Chi Rong chose to take a bath.

Chi Rong walked up to Shen Lao and swallowed the poison-tasting pill that had been made wholeheartedly, “Thank you for trying to save me.”

Shen Lao looked at Chi Rong. His heart was racing to see the woman before him look so graceful and charming.

‘There is only one way to cure you but..’ Shen Lao clenched his hands and took a deep breath.
