LTI 53 - Fort North Wind

The North Wind Fortress was directly adjacent to the Ma Empire. You could say the North Wind Fortress was the last defense other than the border city that was built as evidence of the peace agreement of the Jia Empire and the Ma Empire.

No one expected, the Ma Empire would betray the proof of peace by indiscriminately slaughtering the inhabitants of the Jia Empire in the border city. Now the forces led by Ma Xuruo will subdue the Fortress of the North Wind.

Although it managed to kill a thousand soldiers of the Jia Empire, the losses suffered by the Ma Empire were quite large because about two hundred soldiers died in that bloody battle.

Ma Xuruo feasted on the corpses of his subordinates and the soldiers of the Jia Empire. Dozens of abducted women on their way accompanied the afternoon until the end of the night.

Ma Xuruo's delight was only a moment because shortly after the sun fully set, a loud explosive sound filled the Fortress of the North Wind.

The explosion continued to sound along with the dozens of bodies of the destroyed and bloodstained Imperial Ma warriors. The sound of screaming broke the silence again, filling the night.

Ma Xuruo put his clothes back on and wanted to take a closer look at what was really happening in their newly conquered North Wind Fortress.

“Senior Fu, Senior Xu. What the hell is going on? I didn't see wrong, did I?” Ma Xuruo saw clearly a young man who killed every single soldier of the Ma Empire brutally.

The two earth warriors who had come with Ma Xuruo instantly stared intently at the young man that the Imperial Prince of Ma meant.

“Prince Xuruo, it looks like the young man has reached the earth warrior. I can feel the aura of his body from here.” This Early Stage Earth Swordsman was named Fu Shuang, he was a swordsman who was given direct resources by Emperor Ma.

Shen Lao did not come alone, Commander Lu Bu, Grandpa Nue and Feng En went along with him and they attacked the enemy from the front, then barged in following the path that Shen Lao had made while taking out one after another of the military soldiers of the Ma Empire.

On the other hand, Chi Rong flew up in the air and landed right beside Shen Lao who was facing off against an earth warrior named Xu Mengxian.

Shen Lao's fight against Xu Mengxian was fierce. Repeatedly the attacks both killed the military soldiers of the Ma Empire who were close to the range of their fight.

Shen Lao glanced at Chi Rong for a moment, the girl who had become his wife was swinging her sword with a gleaming killing of the military soldiers of the Ma Empire who were arriving from all directions.

The reason why the military soldiers of the Ma Empire were not at their maximum condition was because they had just undergone a bloody battle.

Shen Lao could see that not a single military soldier from the Jia Empire had survived this attack. But Shen Lao also saw there was a glimmer of hope to win the battle in the Northern Wind Fortress.

In one breath, Shen Lao formed a thousand invisible swords and killed the military soldiers of the Ma Empire. This action of Shen Lao also made Xu Mengxian's face frown.

Shen Lao smiled faintly as Chi Rong was behind him, “Rong of the Fighter, save that ability to help me defeat troublesome people.”

Chi Rong released a murderous aura and sighed softly, “Gege, don't act rashly. I'm here to make sure you remember that the three of us are there for you.”.

The soft, soft voice made Shen Lao smile faintly. Chi Rong's words made Shen Lao understand that he had small dreams that he wanted to see with Chi Rong, Ling Qiuyu and Jia Huaran.

Tonight, the border night that was accompanied by a blaze of fire was a great upheaval. The bloody battle at the North Wind Fortress had just begun.
