The Suxue Mountains are snow-filled and have a winter climate every year. The Suxue Mountains were the residence of the Blue Moon Palace, one of the largest white-flow sects in the Jia Empire.

The Blue Moon Palace is a sect whose members are all women. For the past few decades, the Blue Moon Palace has banned women from contact with men since Chi Sumei served as Matriarch.

Chi Sumei is the grandmother of Chi Rong. Chi Sumei's actions made a special ban because of her past.
