Shen Lao saw Chi Rong actually studying every memory of the Phoenix God Spirit heritage well. Shen Lao painstakingly searched and dug up the memories of the Phoenix power matching Chi Rong's.

The moment the Phoenix Goddess Aura started to fill the entire pores of Chi Rong's body then slowly her old body aura would disappear. The aura of the Phoenix Goddess was purer, even the Eternal Snow Aura would be a deadly weapon as her companion.

Chi Rong nodded her head softly listening to Shen Lao's explanation. Seventeen-year-old man who had become her husband told her to come closer. Shen Lao whispered something to him, Chi Rong listened carefully before she unleashed an Eternal Snow Aura bigger than before.

Shen Lao held onto Chi Rong's shoulder, then flew at high speed welcoming Fu Shuang's sword slash.

“I didn't expect you to still have time to talk to your wife while fighting against me and the troops from the Ma Empire!” Fu Shuang twisted his body, then swung his sword more agilely than before.

Shen Lao sharpened his eyes as well as his sword. He greeted every attack Fu Shuang unleashed perfectly. The clash of the two swords between himself and Fu Shuang was really loud filling the North Wind Fortress that had been the scene of the battle.

Many of the military soldiers of the Ma Empire were about to approach Chi Rong, but their bodies suddenly suffocated and shivered with coldness as the distance between them and Chi Rong drew closer.

Shen Lao merely directed the entire Dragon King Aura and Phoenix King Aura towards Chi Rong to protect the female.

While Chi Rong was doing her full concentration to bring out the entire potential power of the Ice Phoenix.

The exchange of Shen Lao and Fu Shuang's attacks was fierce, but one thing that made Chi Rong worried as Shen Lao's faint aura weakened. Meanwhile Chi Rong felt a huge energy flowing around her stomach.

After making a great exchange of attacks for about thirty minutes, Shen Lao finally released the sword slash that formed the head of the Fire Phoenix Bird on Fu Shuang to maintain the distance between himself and his enemy.

‘Looks like I should form my inner power circle bigger. I think Rong is now..’ Shen Lao smiled faintly and shook his head slowly. She did not expect to marry a beautiful woman with the nickname Fairy Flower when she was only seventeen years old. Moreover, Shen Lao felt Chi Rong would be pregnant with her child.

“Gege, let me help you..” Chi Rong stood beside Shen Lao with a different appearance. Her beauty is getting more charming. Indeed the nickname Fairy Flower is not a mere figment.

Shen Lao realized his strength was being absorbed by Chi Rong rather his energy was being sucked in by something Shen Lao and Chi Rong coveted, and he had not expected the impact to be so overwhelming. Shen Lao could not blame Chi Rong for after all the woman only accepted her every request.

Chi Rong realized Shen Lao's face was flushed red, she wanted to ask the cause but now they both had to defeat Fu Shuang first.

His sword slash was more deadly than before, if Chi Rong's opponent was a holy swordsman then the swordsman was already confirmed dead. But for Fu Shuang who had reached the earth swordsman, the Chi Rong slash could he light up easily.

“Too weak..” Fu Shuang swung his sword flashing the Chi Rong sword slash.

When Fu Shuang thought Shen Lao was unable to move, the young man waited for an opportunity to launch an attack with the help of Chi Rong.

Ma Xuruo watched the state of the fight closely, “Sial! Basic useless!” Without a second thought Ma Xuruo escaped using the science of lightening the body.

Shen Lao and Chi Rong realized Ma Xuruo was fleeing, they were both not chasing but focused on facing Fu Shuang who was still not uprooted and they defeated.
