LTI 25 - Do You Like Me?

On a hilltop close to the Jiaran Capital, a woman was seen thrashing in pain when a man choked her neck.

“Shut up! For the sake of getting you we have to lose a lot of members!” That man was Zu An, the younger brother of Zu Gu.

Zu An disguises himself as a soldier working under General Guan. He was currently waiting for General Guan to arrive.

“Your father worked as a slave in Zhongdu City. If you want your father not to be tormented, then shut up and follow my orders!” Zu An released his hand which strangled Ling Qiuyu's neck. He smiled smirked and whispered something to Ling Qiuyu.

“Should still not be far!” Shen Lao sharpened his entire senses in search of Ling Qiuyu's whereabouts.

From a height he caught a glimpse of the shadow of two people who were at the top of the hill. Shen Lao immediately flew towards that shadow.

Her eyes widened when she saw the dress that Ling Qiuyu was wearing was torn and messy. In one move, Shen Lao directly used the Night God Sword and severed both hands of Zu An.

“You're bothering me..” Zu An's head was cut off and crashed far away from being hit by Shen Lao's sharp sword slash.

“Nona Qiuyu..” Shen Lao instantly turned his body around, Ling Qiuyu immediately hugged his body and cried out in fear in his arms.

“Young Master Shen... Please save my father.” Ling Qiuyu screamed in her cries and told Ling Han's condition to Shen Lao.

“Nona Qiuyu's. Accompany me to go to Zhongdu City, I want you to see for yourself how I kept my promise to save your father.” Shen Lao wiped Ling Qiuyu's tears and took out a robe from within the Infinite Space Seal.

The clothes he had bought in Qudong City included many, and Shen Lao stored them in the Unbounded Space Seal.

Ling Qiuyu wiped her tears and put on Shen Lao's gown to cover her torn dress.

“This second...” Shen Lao touched Ling Qiuyu's neck which contained a trace of giggling and rubbed it gently.

Ling Qiuyu looked at Shen Lao's angry eyes, “He choked my neck.”.

“What did you say?!” Shen Lao's eyes emitted anger.

Shen Lao directly hugged Ling Qiuyu's body and jumped into the air, “Hand. I'll make the calculations on this group! Black Mountain and the Blood Sword Sect, I will finish them off!”

Ling Qiuyu was surprised to see Shen Lao's anger at hearing his explanation, “Master Shen, I'm afraid.”.

Shen Lao kissed Ling Qiuyu's forehead gently and whispered something in Ling Qiuyu's ear, “Sorry all this is my fault.”.

Ling Qiuyu's hand was embracing Shen Lao's neck in trembling. She cried in Shen Lao's arms shedding all her sorrow.

Shen Lao moved at high speed towards Zhongdu City. He coated Ling Qiuyu's body with an aura to keep this girl from freezing.

It would take four days to arrive at Zhongdu City if travelling from the Jiaran Capital. But for Shen Lao, he only needed two days.

Shen Lao and Ling Qiuyu were not short of food as Shen Lao had already had food supplies inside the Infinite Space Seal.

“Nona Qiuyu, first of all I will make sure your father is fine before killing them all Shen Lao stared at Zhongdu City from a distance.

“Nona Qiuyu, are you worried about me?”

“How can I not worry! L'm... Me...” Ling Qiuyu half shouted. The soul-warming friendly gaze made Shen Lao go silent for a long time.

“I?” Shen Lao stared inside Ling Qiuyu's reddened face and lowered her head, this girl was adorable and made her want to clench her body tightly, but Shen Lao still held her back.

“Handle, Miss Qiuyu. I'll bear it all. If by eliminating all the Zhong Family making black streams hunt me, then I am ready.” Shen Lao jumped into the air and followed Ling Qiuyu's instructions to go to the mine that was at the end of the city.

“Young Master Shen, I will support you and always be by your side. I won't let you bear this burden alone.” Ling Qiuyu looked at Shen Lao's face. The two look at meet.

“Thank you, I'm glad to hear it..” Shen Lao smiled gently, before turning his gaze to stare intently at the mine at the end of the city.

Before he landed in the mine, Shen Lao whispered something in Ling Qiuyu's ear, “Do you like me?”

Ling Qiuyu's face looked embarrassed, her cheeks reddish. He just nodded his head. A sign that she likes Shen Lao, the young man she once thought of as her adorable little sister.

Shen Lao smiled happily and stared in a pretty face with warm eyes looking embarrassed.

About dozens of guards who had reached the holy swordsman confronted Shen Lao.

“Why here do I feel the aura of a martial artist? Are those who become slaves..” Shen Lao was still holding Ling Qiuyu and choked as Ling Qiuyu explained the true inhabitants of the mine.

“Hug me tighter. Look carefully how the man who made your father suffer will die. If afraid close your eyes.” Shen Lao looked into Ling Qiuyu's eyes which were staring at him warmly.

“Who are you?!” About five holy warriors came forward and instantly pulled out a blood-red sword from his sword sheath.

Without waiting for long, they attacked Shen Lao. After their distance got closer, Shen Lao directly used the Undying Sword Science to finish them all off.

“Includers!” One holy warrior shouted before dying.

Seven holy warriors who were the guards of the mine instantly came to surround Shen Lao.

“Do not be afraid. I won't let them touch you.” Shen Lao felt Ling Qiuyu's body tremble, so he released the Dragon King Aura on the seven holy warriors that surrounded him.

Unaware of what was happening, the seven holy warriors shuddered in horror when they felt the murderous aura mixed with Shen Lao's Dragon King Aura.

Before long hundreds of prisoners who were warriors filled the mine.

Ling Qiuyu opened her eyes and looked at the middle-aged man who looked so thin and apprehensive.

“Dad!” Ling Qiuyu's shout broke the tension.

“Yu?” The man cried because he saw his son coming with a handsome young man holding him.

Shen Lao smiled before taking a deep breath, “Two prisoners! From now on listen to my orders!”

The faces of the seven holy warriors deteriorated as they knew Shen Lao had reached the earth swordsman. In the Jia Empire there were not many earth warriors. But no warrior as young as Shen Lao reached the earth warrior.
