THE PROMISE
CHAPTER 24. BITTER COFFEE

Anastasya wore a knee-length white dress with an open chest and long sleeves. Her dress model accentuates her dense, filled chest. His slender waist was perfectly formed with a fitting dress showing the curves of his body.

Wearing high heels shows her smooth level feet. The girl looked very sweet and was being nice. Anyone who looked at her innocent face, would judge how innocent and innocent the girl was.

It makes Danendra feel proud and look at his daughter with a satisfied smile, he sure can count on Natasha in the future.

Natasha felt proud of herself, haughtily she raised her head and saw the sponsor staring at Anastasya with a look of astonishment, the man was stunned. Natasha even saw the sponsor gulp down her saliva many times, her eyes sparkling at Anastasya who was walking in the room while paying attention to some coffee displays from the sponsors. Natasha could see that it was not only the sponsor who was fascinated by Anastasya but everyone was stunned.

He was angry and jealous, Natasha has been trying to dress up pretty to be the center of attention tonight but her plan fails when Anastasya comes there with clothes that clarify curves and natural nude makeup that further accentuates her beauty.

Natasha was a few months younger than Anastasya and currently they were both twenty-three years old and still innocent. He could not imagine how Anastasya would grow and how great he would be a few years later.

All he knew at the moment, he was not even qualified to compete with Anastasya. The more Natasha thought about all the advantages Anastasya had, the more she hated him.

Furious he swore and wished in his heart that Anastasya would soon vanish from his life. Supposedly the village girl never appeared in his house, Anastasya's presence really disrupted his life. The sponsor looked at Anastasya with a faint gaze after hearing Natasha's remark that Anastasya was living in the countryside.

The sponsor was increasingly convinced that Anastasya was not qualified at all. He knows nothing about coffee. Then the sponsor smiled at Natasha, “Nothing Miss. It is only natural that a person never drinks coffee because they are not used to it. I won't bother you guys, please enjoy the show.”

Danendra, who had noticed what was happening, stared at the back of the sponsor who left. She felt proud of Natasha, she was much more talented and more reliable than her eldest daughter.  Clarissa looked at her husband's expression and purposely reprimanded her daughter, “Natasha, why did you give your sister coffee? She doesn't usually drink coffee, don't embarrass your sister in front of everyone.”

“Sorry mama, I forgot...”ujar Natasha drift with a sad face.

Danendra shaking hands “Don't mind. But, Anastasya why do you say that coffee is bitter? Speak carefully do not say something you do not understand because it can offend others.” Danendra was upset. “Truly embarrassing!”

“Sorry papa. Please don't be angry, I won't repeat it.” said Anastasya.

“Already!” danendra said, throwing his face away. Then he reminded Natasha “Go backstage and get ready. Papa and mama will be waiting for you to receive the award.”

“Alright, Pa.” said Natasha smiling happily. He then left after waving at Clarissa and then walked backstage.  Anastasya followed Danendra and Clarissa from behind.

Deliberately Danendra and Clarissa walked quickly away from Anastasya, as if they were avoiding something dirty and disgusting. That's the original character of a Danendra Hilman, he will leave anything and anytime when he knows something is no longer worth in his eyes. What a great father!

Anastasya does not care and tries to hide all emotions well and follows in which direction Danendra and Clarissa go. Shortly after they sat down, the pn event began. Tonight's awards ceremony was attended by many people, more than usual because tonight's guest was Young Master Archilles.
