THE PROMISE
CHAPTER 44. WHO THAT?

The puncture wound looked very deep as if the knife that stabbed him was pierced to the bone. The stitches look scary too.  “You...” Anastasya was choked with shock.  He saw that the wound was bleeding again, his condition was very sad. Anastasya immediately remembered something. He remembered something that happened overseas a while ago. As he was walking out after dinner he saw a man being beaten by a group of heavily armed men.

Such a thing rarely happened abroad, when Anastasya saw a sharp-armed man swinging his samurai to slash something, he ran over. Her martial arts skills were qualified but she was only a girl against a swarm of men.

Because of the desperate situation, he dragged the man and saved himself. The man's shoulder was badly injured, and Anastasya called a taxi and told the taxi to take the man to the hospital. Anastasya also gave the man some money.

The man she saved that night was right in front of her. “You....are you..”.

The corner of the man's lips lifted and heaved a sigh of relief, “I've been looking for you abroad for a long time. My friends that the gang hunted disappeared and I came back here. But I kept looking for you until I got the information about your whereabouts but somehow I couldn't find you anymore. All information about you just disappeared.”

Finally Anastasya remembered the words of his assistant who said that someone was investigating him. “What's your name?” anastasya asked hesitantly.

“Diego! Diego Satoshi's! My name is Diego Satoshi!”

“Truely turns out he's the guy!” Anastasya Gumam. “I didn't think at all that I had saved the life of a CEO of the famous Oshi Corp. Howareyou? Are you all right? Your wounds are bleeding again.”

“It's okay. I'm fine especially after meeting you.”

“Alright then.” Anastasya said. “I want to go home. Go to the hospital and treat your wounds, if not treated later your wounds can be infected again.”

“It's just a small wound. No why. Where do you live now? Are you staying here? I want to repay your kindness back then, may I ask for your mobile number?” ask Diego.

Anastasya wondered why everyone wanted to return the favor to her when she sincerely helped them all.

“No need to return the favor to me. I'm glad to see you're in good shape. I have to go home soon, see you again.” Anastasya is reluctant to give her mobile number to just anyone.

He walked away from the villa complex, but Diego followed behind him. Anastasya was confused and looked back, “Is there anything else? You need my help?”

“Nothing...” answered Diego scratching his non-itchy head. “It's late at night and I'm worried about you. It's not good for a girl to walk alone these nights. I better accompany you home. I won't bother you, just assume I don't exist.”

“I can take care of myself, no need to worry about me. Did you forget that I helped you back then? You better go to the hospital to treat your wounds.” Anastasya said staring at the man. “Go, lest you be hunted down and beaten by those people again. If that happens maybe I can't help you this time.”

Diego scratched his head. “That time we were framed, I was injected with drugs so helpless against them. Besides, it happens overseas if I'm in my own country now. Nothing will happen to me.”

“Alright then you can accompany me to the gate of this complex. I'm going home to take a taxi.”ucap Anastasya saw the attitude of the man who insisted.

“Oke.”

The two walked up to the gate of the complex, a taxi was waiting in front of the gate and Anastasya took the taxi. Diego gave some money to the taxi driver and said, “This is the taxi money. Please deliver him safely to his house.”

“Good, don't worry. Your girlfriend will arrive safely.” said the taxi driver smiled.

“Nona, the owner of the villa was named Raymond Xavier.”

“Raymond Xavier? Isn't he the one who manages all Clarissa's assets overseas?” ask Anastasya.

“True miss. He even often booked hotels with Clarissa and the villa was recently purchased by Clarissa.”

Suddenly Anastasya's eyes sparkled...so Clarissa often booked a hotel room? Really stupid and embarrassing! It turns out that he accidentally got Danendra drunk in order to meet the man! Clarissa was really desperate to see him!

“There is other information miss. It turns out that the person who checked your identity in the countryside and who kidnapped and wanted to kill you on the boarding boat was also Raymond Xavier's man.”

Anastasya growled furiously and clenched his hand. “Search information about Raymond's. Investigate him and find all their secrets as soon as possible.”

“Good miss!”

Anastasya smiled, now he can guess what Clarissa's plan really is. He must be more careful now. Anastasya's mind was filled with various plans and the next steps he had to take. Now that he can rely on Kenneth's protection, yes the man will be very useful later to help him when he encounters difficulties.

Inside the villa that Clarissa had entered, a smiling man greeted her. The man hugged Clarissa tightly and kissed her longingly. The man only wore a towel wrapped around his waist while his plain upper body showed his body shape. Raymond lifted Clarissa's body and pressed her against the wall. “Raymond...” sighs liirh Clarissa as the man's lips line his neck. The two kiss each other letting go of longing.

Suddenly Clarissa realized that all her clothes had been stripped and her body was plain. “Hei...wait a minute. Tell me what did you find?”

But Raymond ignored and carried Clarissa's innocent body to the room on the second floor. “We're having fun tonight. Other matters we can talk about tomorrow, tonight you satisfy me dear.

“Aahh Clarissa shouted as her body was thrown into the bed. Raymond quickly took off his clothes and climbed into the bed and pressed Clarissa's body.

Clarissa who had missed the man's touch just resigned and smiled without repulsion.  He wanted it so badly. Danendra is a handsome middle-aged man and his body is burly but he cannot satisfy Clarissa's passion in bed.  Every time she does, Clarissa just pretends to enjoy it.  In contrast to Raymond's ability to arouse Clarissa's wild passion, the man always satisfied her and sometimes even Clarissa was overwhelmed with Raymond's strength.

Clarissa also began to enjoy the touch of Raymond, for now she just wants satisfaction and forget about the affairs of Anastasya. The two wrestled for hours until exhaustion and sweat drenched the bodies of the two. Breath both panting, Raymond sat smoking on the bed.  He smiled satisfied with Clarissa's service.

“What are you worried about? The girl is just a village girl who knows nothing, I have already investigated her and she is really a village girl.”

“What do you mean? Don't tell me you didn't get any information about him.” Clarissa exclaimed in annoyance.

“I've investigated it. Everyone in the village knew him well, he really grew up there and went to school in the village. His diploma was also issued by the school in the village. And I have checked to the school and all the data is appropriate and original.” said Raymond.

Clarissa was silent. “Has everything been re-checked? His friends, teachers and people in the village? Nothing to miss?”
