CHAPTER 36. STEAL BUSINESS CARDS

“While! There must be something hidden inside.” Natasha said.

Anastasya placed the fruit plate on the nightstand and took out his computer and deleted the search. After making sure no one was left behind, he turned off his computer and went to see Danendra in the reading room.  When Natasha saw Anastasya go to the reading room to meet her father, she went straight into Anastasya's room.

He started looking around every corner of the room but didn't get anything suspicious. “What are you hiding in this room, huh? There must be something important here but where does he keep it?” Natasha began to look at the whole room neatly and only saw Anastasya's laptop on the bed.

There was nothing strange in the room, then his gaze was directed at Anastasya's jacket which was draped on a chair near the dresser. He smiled and picked up the jacket and started checking. When his hand went into the pocket of the jacket, he found something and pulled it out. His eyes were shocked to see what he had found.

“Name Card Young Master Archilles? So Anastasya had this business card and didn't give it to papa? Basic*****small! Damn you Anastasya!” Natasha looked at the gold-inked business card with a smirk smile.

“I'll tell papa and hand him this business card. Papa would be very happy...wait....wait....wait..if I give this business card to papa then he will scold me for entering Anastasya's room and stealing this business card.

Hmm...aha.I better keep this business card. This will be my way to meet Kenneth often. Ha ha ha ha ha turns out stealing isn't a bad thing huh? I got Kenneth's business card!”

Natasha put the jacket on the chair back then tidied up the room to make it look like it was. He put Kennteh's business card into his pocket, after he was sure everything was as it was and there were no misplaced items, he came out of Anastasya's room with a happy heart.

Anastasya opened the door of the reading room, as soon as he stepped in and closed the door behind him, Danendra smiled and let him sit down. Danendra offered several contracts to Anastasya.

“This is your employment contract as Brand Ambassador Cafe Moonlight. I read the contract and you can read it. If anything doesn't fit we can discuss it with Mr. Kenneth. But if you think the contents of the contract are no problem then you can immediately sign.”

Danendra spoke without giving Anastasya a chance to say a word. Anastasya took the contract and read it. In the written contract of payment that he will receive, the amount is very high beyond the payment given to famous actresses.

As Brand Ambassador Cafe Moonlight, he will get various facilities and can enjoy all the facilities under the Archilles Group for ten years for free.

With the amount of payment and facilities received for ten years alone is able to make anyone excited. But Anastasya is not interested in becoming a Brand Ambassador, this is not what he planned.

His return is only to seek the truth of his mother's death. But in order to support his goal, then inevitably he must agree to a contract and pretend to be happy.

“I did not find the slightest problem in this contract. I'll just sign.” said Anastasya smiling sweetly.

“Logly sign it then. Tomorrow morning I will hand over this contract directly to Archilles Corp. You're going there with me, you're new to this town and I'm afraid you're traveling alone.”

In his heart Anastasya sneered, since when did the man become this good? He certainly has his own purpose. Surely he wanted to use this opportunity to get into the Archilles Corp building and meet Kenneth.

‘Uh. All he has in his brain is just taking advantage of every opportunity that exists. Really shameless!” he murmured in the heart.

“Thank papa. Sorry bothering you. I do not understand the streets in this city and rather afraid to travel alone.”

Danendra is overjoyed to have such a submissive and manageable daughter. He felt lucky to have obtained a precious treasure. Especially now that he will arrange all cooperation Anastasya with sponsors. He could enjoy so many benefits.

He took back the contract and put it in his briefcase. “We'll be going to Archilles Corp at ten in the morning but you'll have to see me at eight in the morning. I'll take you somewhere to help you dress up.

“Good papa.”

“Back in your room. It's late at night and time to rest so you can wake up early tomorrow morning.” Danendra said.

But Anastasya had other plans tonight, he quickly said, “Papa, may I borrow your reading room to read a book? I'm not sleepy yet and there's nothing I can do in my room.”

Although a little hesitant, Danendra immediately nodded. “Alright you can use the reading room but you can only find books on the right shelf, do not touch others.”

“Good Papa. Thank you.” said Anastasya obediently. After Danendra had left, Anastasya got up and closed the door of the reading room. He spread his gaze throughout the reading room. All the furniture in the room is made of expensive rosewood and looks antique.

Slowly Anastasya walked over to the bookshelf and her hands touched inch by inch. Mama must have spent a lot of time in this room, right? Little by little, his memories returned to the past. Even though he was a child at the time, he still remembers some of the events of his childhood.

Anastasya had investigated about her mother. His mother is a person who cares about his health and routinely checks himself twice a year. He found that the cause of his mother's death was depression and suicide.

But in his health report from the hospital, there was absolutely no indication that anything odd was related to his mental health.

Then Anastasya asked the doctor who did a medical examination on his mother. The doctor knew Adelia Sanari well and said her mother Anastasya did not suffer from depression and her mental health was very good the last time she came to the hospital for a medical check-up. And that was one week before his death.

That's why Anastasya is so sure that his mother did not kill herself but was killed!

Anastasya closed her eyes for a moment then as her eyes reopened her eyes turned cold and sharp. He scanned the bookshelves carefully and meticulously. He began to check from the outside to the bookshelf.

But he found nothing connected to his mother, not even a photopun! But he was determined to find the truth!

Usually if a wife dies then the husband will definitely keep some photos of his ex-wife. But in the reading room there was not a single photo he found even no items related to his mother.

Anastasya also thinks maybe Danendra deliberately got rid of all objects related to his ex-wife so that Clarissa is not jealous.

Or maybe Danendra never had feelings for his mother or maybe the man even hated her. It could be that Danendra got rid of his ex-wife's photos and belongings for fear of seeing her. But whatever the reason, all of that already suggests that her mother's death was closely linked to Danendra or was she the killer?
