CHAPTER 67. BREAK ENGAGEMENT

Emma's face paled after Rian told her everything. The man even convinced everyone to check the CCTV in the mall to see the real events. Emma clenched her hands and put on a pitiful face, looking at Keenan. “Not....not that it happened. These guys make up stories. They deliberately slandered me so that I look bad in front of you.”

Keenan stared cynically at Emma while sneering, “The dog problem the other day you also said he slandered you, now even you say he slandered you too. Are you someone who has always been slandered so easily? Even by someone who doesn't know you at all?’

“I----” Emma's face grew pale and unable to speak anymore. Looks like Keenan defended Anastasya more than he did.

Whahuh? Breaking engagement? Emma took a step back in fear, she did not want the engagement to be broken because she needed the wealthy Pradipan family to support her family.

If the engagement with the Pradipa family was decided there would be no other distinguished family that would want a girl like her. No matter where she got the courage from, Emma hugged Keenan's thigh and cried as she pleaded.

“No. I beg Keenan not to do that. I realize that I did something wrong, please forgive me this time. I promise I won't repeat it again. I promise I won't troublemake and look for trouble with anyone. Please don't break this engagement.”

Keenan had run out of patience and sympathy for Emma. He looked at the butler. “Are you dead, huh? Why are you just standing still there? Get rid of this guy!”

The butler rushed forward with two bodyguards and dragged Emma and her friend out and closed the gate. Both were driven out of the house in a rude and pitiful manner. The driver who took him immediately slid back to the Jatmika family residence. Along the way there was not a word said from the mulit Emma.

He never imagined if his plan to teach Rian and Anastasya a lesson turned out to be very difficult even to get him expelled. Keenan even more hated him and looked at him disgusting, even his engagement was forced to break up.

“Arggg....” shouted Emma who could not stand the frustration and tightness in her chest. The driver and his friend looked surprised to see Emma who was very angry.

Meanwhile, at the house of the Bagaskara family, Anastasya who witnessed how Keenan drove Emma was amazed. He still wondered why the man had suddenly chased Emma away. No matter what had just happened, when there was a person who retaliated against his enemy then that person was Anastasya's friend!

Anastasya smiled at Keenan subconsciously. “Thank you for what you did earlier.”

That time if Keenan wasn't there, maybe Clarissa's face would've been ruined by Emma's dog. Anastasya's eyebrows curved while smiling sweetly made Keenan suddenly feel his legs were not grounded on earth and his body floated.

“Yes, no problem.” he said then whispered to Brandon, “He was the goddess I told you about back then! I love it and will go after it. I will get his heart and love.”

Suddenly Brandon's face pias and showed his displeasure, want it feels like he devoured Keenan round and round. So Anastasya is the girl that Keenan has been looking for for half a month? The more Brandon thought about it the more disliked he became and made him angry. Will they be competing against each other for the girl? For the day he fought Kenneth and now his rival is one more.

Even Kenneth's expression was uglier, the three men threw displeased gazes at each other. While Anastasya who did not know knowing only smiled brightly at everyone except Kenneth. Looks like it's just Kenneth that he doesn't care. I don't know which attitude made Anastasya unhappy. Kenneth tried to be patient and as he was about to talk to Anastasya, his phone rang instead.

Director Ero was heard holding back his anger and impatience. “Young Master Archilles how is this? The actress you recommended yesterday really sucks. He is not at all suited to the lead role. I want to replace it as soon as possible, I can't tolerate it anymore! Even if you insist on maintaining it then you better replace me only. I don't want to make this movie anymore! Replace with others only!”

Kenneth was confused and looked at Anastasya. What does all this mean? “What exactly is it?” kenneth asked Eros.

“As the main character in this film, the main woman must be natural but she does not want and wants to always be beautiful. “Tasha. Yes her name is Natasha Hilman.”

Kenneth's eyes squinted, he was thinking hard and trying to remember the events from the beginning and the cause of all these events. Finally he understood why it was suddenly rumored that Anastasya wanted to play a role in the film and why Eros felt that he did not fit in with Anastasya.
