THE PROMISE
CHAPTER 57. LET'S JUST SAY WE DON'T KNOW EACH OTHER

But the director did not expect at all when the camera was directed, a gentle expression and affection in Kenneth's eyes seemed real as if he really admired Anastasya and loved her so much. “Cut!: exclaim the director walking out from behind the monitor with a very satisfied expression while clapping.

“Miss Tasya's acting ability in front of the camera surprised me but I did not expect it to turn out that young Master Archilles' acting skills were even more amazing! You two are very talented. It's a pity if you don't become movie actresses..”.

Kenneth didn't know what to say, what acting skills? Didn't he just take a sip of coffee and stare at Anastasya?

There was no conversation plot at all. What kind of acting is that? But because the director praised him so he didn't say anything. “So the filming is done?” kenneth asked after a moment of silence. The director replied with a nod.

“It's done, filming is done. You guys are so great just with one photo shoot already passed.”

Kenneth gnashed at kennings in dissatisfaction. In a romance drama shouldn't male and female protagonists kiss or something after they're together? How could he not even touch Anastasya's hand? Really useless director!

But there's no way Kenneth could have said those words. With a dark face he said, “Since filming is done then pack up and prepare for filming tomorrow.”

The director hesitated a bit about to say the words but he tried to be bold. “Tomorrow's photoshoot requires a location in an office building but the person in charge of finding a place has not found a suitable place. Maybe tomorrow filming will be postponed first.”

Kenneth did not care about such trivial matters, he nodded. “I understand.”

He walked over to Brandon. “Shooting is done. Let's go, it's rare that I have free time so today we eat with the others.”

“No! You can go with the others because I want to invite Miss Anastasya to go to dinner together.” Brandon said.

When the speech was over Kenneth's face immediately puffed up and at the same time he felt his chest tight as when he heard Brandon say he was in love with Anastasya at first sight. Moreover, this emotion in his heart was extremely difficult to control. He just took a deep breath to suppress his emotions.

“You better cancel! I know Anastasya very well and understand him. He won't be that easy to accept a dinner call with someone.” Kenneth said.

Brandon shrugged his shoulders. “How to know if you haven't tried?” Brandon was eager to invite Anastasya to dinner and wanted to try asking her as if she had been waiting for this moment for a long time.

Yes, he has been waiting for a long time. Kenneth folded his arms in front of his chest and smiled. “Then try, I'm sure you won't make it.” Kenneth said. She believes that she understands enough of Anastasya's character to seem obedient and submissive in front of her father's Danendra but she is actually a biting fox.

That girl is as smart as a fox, how could she possibly want to go to dinner with a man she's just met for the first time? Kenneth was very sure of his conjecture and was convinced of Anastasya's nature. Just then Anastasya came out of the room after she finished changing clothes. His face was clean from makeup, he was wearing a simple white T-shirt and light colored jeans.

The bright color will indeed make the person wearing it look fat but when worn by Anastasya, the jeans even wrap their legs perfectly and look long. It's amazing how anyone has such perfect feet in this world. Seeing that Anastasya had come out, Brandon stepped closer to him.

“Nona Anastasia.”

Anastasya had a good impression of Brandon so he smiled and greeted back. “Mr Brandon, thanks for the place.”

Brandon shook his head and said, “It's okay. Kenneth and I have been best friends since childhood and it's just a small matter. By the way I don't know if you have any other activities after this. I heard from your assistant that today's filming is over?”

Then Brandon glanced at the watch on his wrist. “Because you don't have any other activities and it's lunch time. How about I take you to lunch? Are you ready?”

Kenneth who was standing not far from there sharpened his ears with a flat face. He was very sure that Anastasya would not agree. But a moment later--

“Oke, what a coincidence I also want to tell you something.” said Anastasya.

Kenneth looked displeased and frowned at Anastasya's words. This girl...really agree? What did he want to tell Brandoh? What did they talk about when they first met?

Kenneth could not stand it anymore and immediately stepped foot toward Anastays.  “Anastasya, tomorrow we have to shoot, do not smebarangan eat out I am worried that you will get sick because it will affect your filming tomorrow.”

Before Anastasya wanted to say something, Brandon had interrupted first, “Tenaknya Mr. President! I'm not going to ask her to eat. I don't want him to be sick either, I'll take him to eat healthy food.”

Kenneth's face looked gloomy and turned around. “Sertains to you!”

Brandon looked at Kenneth in confusion. “This person yes....”.

“What's up?” ask Anastasya. “Have you guys any plans?”

“Yeah, earlier said there is rarely free time and invite some of our friends to gather but actually our time to gather is also a lot. So no problem.” replied Brandon.

“Alright then. Let's go.”

“Yuk! What do you want to eat?” ask Brandon.

The two walked over and got into the car. Kenneth, who was sitting in an MPV, saw the two men get into the car and leave. Kenneth's hand held the document firmly in his hand to show the blue vein of his hand.

His assistant who was in the driver's seat did not dare to take a breath and the air pressure in the car was very low. Half an hour later, at an Italian restaurant, Brandon and Anastasya sat slaing face to face while eating spaghetti. Anastasya quickly finished his pasthouse and began the conversation.

“Mr Brandon, there's actually something I want to tell you.”

Brandon immediately put down his fork. “Do you not want others to know your identity abroad?”

Anastasya was stunned for a moment then nodded.”I have a reason for that but I can't say it, so please pretend you don't know me if you see me later. In order not to happen like today's incident again.”

Anastasya's cold and calm face was like an iceberg so cold that others could not approach him. Hearing Anastasya's words made Brandon feel that his throat was blocked and his breathing became congested.
