THE PROMISE
CHAPTER 55. KENNETH'S ANGER

“I didn't approach him, I just misrecognized people. Didn't I say that?” brandon shook his head. “It is actually you who have been assuming that women are troublesome so you never want to have a serious relationship with any woman. So why are you suddenly so concerned about that woman?”

Kenneth felt as if his throat was pierced by a spear and his breathing suddenly tightened after hearing Brandon's words. But he quickly managed to control himself. “What do you mean if I care about it? I only care about filming the brand ambassador and if the brand ambassador was someone else, I would still care. Is there a problem?”

Brandon looked at Kenneth from head to toe and did not find the slightest strangeness. His words also made sense, Brandon heaved a sigh of relief. “Good if you don't care about him because I'll be honest with you. I fell in love with Anastasya from first sight and I will pursue her until I get her love.”

Kenneth's eyes suddenly darkened and a cold glint appeared in his eyes. He quickly hid his emotions even though he himself did not know why he had to hide his emotions. Brandon did not see Kenneth's facial expression because he was looking at the villa.

In a cold voice Brandon said, “Not many people experience love at first sight in their lives. So my friend, I'll go after him and if you don't mind please don't add the rules you said earlier to the contract. Such a coercion contract no longer exists since 800 years ago.”

“Brandon! He is the Brand Ambassador that I chose myself which means that he is my person. You know that I'm very protective, if you just want to mess around, go find the ladies at the bar. There are a lot of women out there who are willing to play with you and you can pay for it too! Those women will also not cause chaos and will not damage your family reputation!”

Brandon glared at Kenneth. “Do you think I'm like Diego? I told you I'd go after him and get his love! That means I'm in love with her and not for fooling around! I want to have a relationship with him and marry him! I come from a military family and have never toyed with the feelings of others let alone the feelings of women. I'm serious with him and I'll prove how much I love him.”

“Do you know him? Do you understand him and do you know everything about him? Love at first sight just because of seeing his beautiful face, it will never work.”, said Kenneth frowned.

“Don't worry about me. Just by looking at the look on his face, his attitude and personality must have been a perfect match for me. Suitable or not will be found out if it has been tried, right?” brandon smiled with satisfaction. Kenneth was silent and thought every word Brandon made his heart grow agitated.

“As of you!” Kenneth immediately went and walked to the shooting location without looking at Brandon again. She was really upset and her heart was filled with anger, how could her best friend fall in love with her woman and compete with her? He wouldn't let that happen, if he could he would block any man who would approach Anastasya.

While inside the villa, Anastasya is getting ready to do a photo shoot. This photo shoot is different from the time at Cafe Moonlight. This time she had to wear makeup because her character was as a princess.  The makeup artist was already familiar with Anastasya's facial skin and she put on makeup with light makeup but still beautiful.

After she finished, the makeup artist looked at Anastasya in awe and could not turn her attention elsewhere. “You're satisfied to see it yet, hemmm?” ask Amira Anastasya's assistant. “Don't tell me you like her, she's not interested in a fellow woman.”

“Pfff...” The people in the room laughed amusedly at Amira's words and they soon recovered from the shock of seeing Anastasya's beauty.

Simultaneously, the door of the room opened so loudly that it made everyone startled and immediately turned to the door involuntarily.  They saw Kenneth enter with a grim face like the king of hell who was looking for victims. His expression was extremely frightening and his eyes were sharp. His fierce aura made everyone not dare to look at him.

At once everyone stood up and immediately left the room in a hurry full of fear so Kenneth's anger was released. Anastasya stood up from her chair and looked at Kenneth. “What's wrong with you? Why do you look so angry?”

Kenneth's big hand suddenly clasped Anastasya's hand tightly until the girl groaned in pain. Anastasya frowned and tried to let go of his grasp but the big hand was too strong to hold his hand.

“Kenneth! Have you gone crazy? Release my hand hurts!” Anatasya glared at Kenneth furiously.

Kenneth looked back into Anastasya's eyes, the girl's face had messed with him because it had appeared so many times lately and he himself did not know why. He always felt angry if another man approached or talked to Anastasya.  All he knows is that when he finds out that Brandon has fallen in love with Anastasya and is determined to pursue her, he can no longer control his emotions and his heart aches.

“Kenneth! Let go of my words!” yelled Anastasya furiously.

The girl's voice that sounded angry made Kenneth wake up from his chaotic emotions. Then he let go of Anastasya's hand while glancing at the girl's wrists which were flushed red because she was grasping it too firmly.

Kenneth scrunched his forehead looking at Anastasya's wrists flushed red. ‘Is the skin too soft? Why is it so red?’ he murmured in the heart. Kenneth now felt guilty but he just kept quiet with a cold facial expression.

“I haven't thought back to what you said back then but before I told you about it, I didn't allow you to get in touch with another man.”

“What? What are you talking about? Since when have I been in contact with other men? Then why are you suddenly talking about the problem of return? I've said many times that it was just a joke. Why are you even taking it seriously? You're really crazy.” Anastasya's brows furrowed feeling dislike for Kenneth's words.

Kenneth didn't care then he turned around and walked out. The man walked so fast that it made Anastasya feel astonished by his behavior. ‘What the fuck is he? I was when I asked her to marry me to return the favor to me, it was a joke. He doesn't even care about my request but why bring up the matter now? What was that, arbitrarily angry and forbid me to connect with other men.’

Anastasya shook his head, Kenneth's ugly nature left him not knowing how to deal with it! Finally he decided to forget about the incident and rushed out to the filming area.

Filming will begin soon. At first the shooting process went smoothly but suddenly the director even added one more plot.

“After the princess fell in love with the coffee from Cafe Moonlight then she gave a cup of coffee to the snag the prince who seemed to not care about her. After receiving the cup of coffee, the prince had a strong impression on the princess. The two also lived happily together forever.” said the director eagerly told the plot of the next filming scene. “Add that scene and it should look romantic for the ad to look complete and perfect.”
