THE PROMISE
CHAPTER 40. AUDITION NATASHA

“Thank you, Ken.” said.

“Why did you call his name? You are not polite!” geram Danendra's.

“It's okay. He can call my name as he pleases if he wants. I have to thank Anastasya for being willing to work with us.”, Kenneth said. “I want to talk alone with Anastasya about our cooperation. You can wait in the next room with my men and sign a contract.

“Good..good. Please speak in a relaxed manner. I'll wait in the room next door.” Danendra said of pleasure. Finally what he dreamed was achieved, after this he will be free to go in and out of the building and have the opportunity to be near and in the business environment upscale.

With a smile on his face, Danendra went into the next room with an employee of Kenneth. Now they're the only two in the room.

“Ken..forgive papaku. He's been acting silly earlier.” said Anastasya biting her lower lip. Ken's eyes looked at the girl's attractive lips in his eyes. “Why apologize?” Ask Kenneth.

Anastasya looked at Kenneth, not looking ridicule or humiliation in the eyes seen Kenneth respect him a lot.

“Thank you enough. You are slightly saying ‘maaf’ and ‘terthank’. Sit down, we have to talk business.” Kenneth said showing a chair next to Anastasya.

Anastasya sat in the chair, they sat facing each other at a very close distance. So close, Anastasya could see Kenneth's eyelashes clearly.

“Cafe Moonlight is a great project that we prioritized this year. Your tasks will be many, in addition to filming there is also webcasting, cutting pitang in location, shooting for promotion and also being a speaker representing Cafe Moonlight and others.” Kenneth thrusts his hand, “This is your schedule for this week. Please read first.”

Anastasya fell silent, which was exactly what Kenneth said. Danendra and Anastasya have no resemblance in face or character.

“This is an important project for Archilles Corp, so I will follow up directly the whole process.” Kenneth said without turning to Danendra.

The project managers walking behind them were shocked to hear Kenneth's words. It is not usual for their CEO to intervene directly handle the project. Is this Cafe Moonlight project his personal project? Then he looked at Anastasya for a moment and understood the situation. Now he understood that there was a big secret he had discovered. The secret between Kenneth and Anastasya.

Kenneth actually drove Anastasya and Danendra all the way to the company entrance. He even smiled warmly and bid farewell to Anastasya.

In a biggest performance building that is one of the investment projects of Archilles Corp, movie auditions are underway. Natasha was there to audition. This film is also one of the projects of Archilles Corp which tells about the great disaster that hit the country, the film is titled “The End of Success”.  The film depicts a natural disaster attack and a foreign invasion. In the film, the main character works as a police detective who helps everyone escape and works as a spy to get information from the enemy.

Such films are rarely made, by reading the script and the production team alone, Natasha is convinced that the film will be popular. So he wanted to get the lead role! That way he will be famous and can get closer to Kenneth. He can also boast of himself among the upper class socialites. It was finally Natasha's turn to audition.

It appears that director Eros Bratadikara is reading his profile and found that Natasha had been a model for a song and also a dancer, she has absolutely no acting experience. Natasha walked from the backstage confidently and when she arrived on stage she loosened her face.  Eros frowned looking at Natasha's expression. “Just act, don't waste my time. You have no acting experience at all.” he said coldly.

“You will play the female lead and in the story your mother is captured by the enemy and tortured and then killed sadistically. Get started!”

Natasha who had never acted did not know what to do, nor did she know that she had to respond quickly and start acting. She froze silently and thought ‘her mother was captured by the enemy and tortured and then killed sadistically.’ That means he has to feel sad. She should cry. Then Natasha pinched her thighs tightly and then fell on the floor and cried hysterically.

“Mama....mama.....hiks hiks..........why did you leave me? Huuuuu.....I can't live alone mama...”.

Eros face immediately stunned, the whole room suddenly silent to see Natasha acting who was crying hysterically. This is very outrageous.the director was speechless. Wasn't the main character a strong and valiant woman.

The woman is a detective and a secret agent. She should have taken revenge for her mother's death.but why did she cry hysterically while lying on the floor? Why is that woman so stupid? This is not a heroine! The world is in trouble and the female lead is crying like a fool? The enemy must have killed him then! That stupid woman! Who exactly is he? Why he did not understand the role when he was given a script to read before the audition.

The director became upset because he felt his time was wasted. Can anyone now come to the audition? While on stage, Natasha who wailed to make Director Eros can no longer bear to hear it, then rang the bell. “Stop.”

Being suddenly told to stop, making Natasha stunned. He thought his acting was so good that the director immediately stopped him.

Natasha immediately stood up with a happy smile, “Director Eros, how do I look? I'm sorry I didn't train enough before the audition so my crying acting wasn't perfect yet but I promise I'll fix it. You can directly tell me what to do.” She looked as though she was confident as if she had already secured the position of female lead.
