THE PROMISE
CHAPTER 32. EMMA CLARESTA'S

He stood patiently by the side of a large road, suddenly a black luxury car stopped in front of him. Anastasya only took two steps back and ignored him. The window of the back seat was lowered and revealed the face of Kenneth Archilles who smiled faintly at Anastasya. The girl was a bit hesitant about whether to say hello first.

“What are you doing on the side of the road? Are you amnesia?” ask Kenneth.

“A—aku. Ah...I was riding a taxi.” Anastasya said awkwardly.

“Glave. I'll take you.” Kenneth said in a commanding tone.

“Not necessary. I took a taxi.” said Anastasya refused.

“Why not? Are you afraid I'll do something to you?” kenneth said while looking at him instens. The man looked at her with a doubtful look. Anastasya just kept quiet for a moment then without wasting any more time he opened the door from the other side and got into the car.

After closing the door, Anastasya said “Please take me to the nearest bank. Sorry to bother you. Thanks for helping me.”

Kenneth did not answer, he pretended to read the paper in his hand as if there was no Anastasya there.

“We're going to the office, then you'll be dropped off at a crossroad not far from our office building. There you can find all the banks. From there it is easy for you to get a taxi to drive you home later.” Kenneth's assistant, Rian Malik, replied. From the rearview he could see Kenneth who was busy watching the newspaper in his hand.

Never did he read the newspaper in the car. When Rian saw that Kenneth had deliberately ignored Anastasya, he immediately understood the situation. Is Kenneth nervous? Usually if we are indifferent to someone we like, it means the opposite.

“Thanks Rian.” said Anastasya could not help but smile as she glanced at the man next to her.

Getting a thank you from a beautiful girl will always make anyone happy and smile. Just as he was about to smile and glance into the rearview mirror, he saw Kenneth staring at him intently like he wanted to kill.

Rian was instantly frightened so his forehead let out a cold sweat. He was silent not daring to say anything more to Anastasya during the journey. About thirty minutes later they arrived at the intersection and Rian stopped the car in front of the bank building. When Anastasya had come down and wanted to say thank you. Suddenly Kenneth ordered the driver to drive the car, “Quick the road!”

Ah. That's weird. Why is he angry? Didn't he offer to drive me?

Anastasya did not care anymore, he walked into the bank and issued an additional card given by Danendra.  A few minutes later, Anastasya came out of the bank. Anastasya had checked Danendra's main card and he was surprised that Danendra's main card only had two hundred billion in cash.

Did the Hilman family not have much money? Does Danendra have another main card? Anastasya took the phone from her bag and made a call abroad. “Please check all Danendra Hilman's assets and accounts both domestically and abroad.”

“Good, Miss. I'll get the report soon.”

Anastasya has a team of skilled men and experts in all fields, they always work fast and do not take long to get what Anastasya needs. When he had just arrived in front of the gate of the villa, he had already received an email from his men.

The Sanari family used to have tens of trillions of assets but in the hands of Danendra only six hundred billion rupiah. How did he spend it all? Or maybe all the assets are in the name of Clarissa or maybe Natasha? Then Anastasya sent a message to his men to check the accounts of Clarissa Sanari and Natasha Odelia Hilman. After that, Anastasya rang the doorbell of the villa.

As Anastasya rang the bell at the gate, a servant immediately reported to Natasha. “He's back!” natasha said it was nice to look at the girl sitting next to her. The long-haired blonde girl was named Emma Claresta Princess Jatmika.

She is Natasha's cousin who won the national level salsa competition. Emma is a socialite and also a famous model. The Jatmika family is a prominent family in Surabaya.

The Jatmika family has good relations with the wealthy Pradipa family which is the fifth richest family in Jakarta. The two families arranged an arranged marriage between Emma and the eldest child of the Pradipa family since they were children. 

Emma relied heavily on her upper-class socialite circle in every way throughout her life. When Natasha returned to Jakarta she immediately asked Emma for help.

“Let's meet him. I can't wait to teach him a lesson.” Emma stood up relaxed.

“Emma! How do you teach him a lesson?” ask Natasha.

“Take it easy. I have a brilliant idea. The bad guy has to be beaten by the bad dog. I brought my dog Roxy here on purpose. I'll introduce Roxy to him.” Emma said calmly. Emma has a giant pit bull named Roxy.  When he heard the name of his dog had frightened Natasha, he knew how savage his cousin's dog was.

“Supervisor! Bring Roxy here now!” emma's orders to the bodyguards standing at the entrance of the villa. Soon the heavily armed guard was carrying a large pittbull, drooling from his tongue sticking out. The dog's fangs look sharp.

“Why are you so scared? Take it easy, if you're afraid of your papa, you'll tell him that this was all my idea. I'll also just teach him a little lesson, won't hurt him. Do not be afraid, besides my dog will not harm people without my command.” said Emma.

Natasha also felt calm after hearing Emma's support, she also did not feel worried anymore. Just let the fierce dog teach Anastasya the annoying country girl!

Both of them walked towards the gate, but when the dog saw a servant watering plants, he ran and bit the servant's leg violently. Blood dripped from the man's servant's feet, he cried out in pain. The other servant immediately ran to help, with a stick wanting to hit the dog.

“Hei stop! Don't try to hurt my dog! If you hurt my dog, I'll have my bodyguards break your legs!” emma said arrogantly. Not even the servants dared to come forward to help the wounded servant, they could only stare at each other helplessly.

A month ago Emma came to meet with Roxy, the dog had bitten the hand of a waiter to break up! And Emma didn't even pay the maid any compensation.

Emma walked up to her dog and touched him and the dog was silent. With just a touch of Emma, the dog went from being vicious to being a submissive dog. The injured maid was eventually taken to be treated and Emma led her dog towards the villa gate.

He could see Anastasya standing outside the gate, her body tall with beautiful curves and slender waist. Although Emma could not see her face but she could see the uniqueness of Anastasya. But Emma doesn't care, she's just there to teach Anastasya a lesson.
