CHAPTER 34. CANCEL ENGAGEMENT

Clarissa stared at the horror of seeing Emma being chased by her own dog. The woman did not even believe in what she saw, all this time Roxy was obedient to Emma but now instead pursued and wanted to bite her.

Emma who continued to run away from Roxy had run out of power, her footsteps were slowing down because she was unable to run. Suddenly Roxy attacks and bites Emma's back until her shirt is torn. “Please! Help me!” yelled Emma scared.

Clarissa glanced left and right and took a stone and threw Roxy. Roxy's head turned and fell to the side but soon Roxy got up and ran towards Clarissa. The woman was frightened and hid behind the waiter. “Please! Get rid of that dog! Please!”

While the servant was frightened and did not care about Clarissa, the servant ran towards Anastasya and hid behind her.

Clarissa who was shocked and frightened could not run away. He covered his face with both hands but suddenly heard the sound of a shot “Dor!” Then the dog's body fell on Clarissa, blood dripping on her face. When Clarissa opened her eyes, she saw the pitbull's head was shot.

Clarissa turned her head and saw a man standing in the distance watching a good show. This is Raden Keenan Pradipa. He is the man who was betrothed to Emma Claresta Princess Jatmika.

Emma who came to her surprise saw the man, “Keenan!”

Keenan held a pistol in his hand, he folded his arms around his chest and looked calm. She was forced by her family to pick Emma up for dinner. But when he got there he saw something interesting. And also interesting people!

Keenan took his eyes off Anastasya and stared hard at Emma, “It turns out you have a hobby of taking your dog out to bite people. If my mama finds out this maybe she'll like you better.”

Emma instantly pale and defends herself, “Not so Keenan. I just took Roxy for a walk, but I never thought she'd do anything to Roxy. Roxy attacked me.”

No one was aware of Keenan's presence, he had seen everything clearly from the beginning. “Ohhh so? Now he's dead so you don't have to be scared anymore. That dog won't bite you again.”

Emma's face grew pale, Keenan had shot his dog dead. She's been raising Roxy with affection for a few years and just died. Emma begins to blame Anastasya. He glared at Anastasya, he did not want to let go of the girl just like that.

On the other hand, Natasha helps Clarissa wake up. The woman looked at Keenan and said, “I'm sorry for my daughter. He just came back from the village and I didn't educate him well.”

Keenan looked at Anastasya who was still standing unmoved, he did not even defend himself. Keenan looked at her meaningfully, “I heard the news that there was a beautiful girl returning to the Hilman family. I didn't expect to see her today and I admit that she's really pretty.”

The faces of Clarissa, Natasha and Emma turned dark hearing Keenan praising Anastasya's beauty. But Keenan did not care, he still looked at Anastasya and said to Emma, “The show is done! You better go to my house now, my mama told you to come home. Don't just shut up. Go there!” Although Keenan said that to Emma but his gaze did not turn from Anastasya. Keenan went without greeting Clarissa and Natasha.

Clarissa did not dare to say a word even though Keenan did not greet her. Then Emma orders the bodyguards to carry Roxy's body and she runs after Keenan. “Mr Keenan, wait for me!”

But Keenan ignored him and sped up the pace but when he was near Anastasya, his steps slowed down for a moment. “Beauty once!” lirih Keenan but can still be heard by Anastasya atapi the girl ignored. He went straight into the villa without caring for Clarissa who called out to him. Clarissa became angry because Anastasya ignored her but at this moment she felt a little afraid of the girl.

Keenan and Emma arrive at Pradipa's house, Emma gets out of the car but Keenan does not get out of the car. He looked at Emma with disdain. The girl was confused to see Keenan's expression, “Young Master Keenan, why look at me like that? Aren't you coming down with me?”

Keenan laughs here, “Nona, there are only the two of us so no need to pretend. I want to tell you that I don't want to get married yet because I'm not satisfied enjoying my youth. You are a disgusting girl and not my type! So go inside and talk to my mama, you have to cancel the engagement before I open my mouth and tell my mama. “I didn't care who I was getting married to. But after today I decided I would never marry you! I'm going to marry the woman of my choice!”

“Why are you accusing me? I told you that I didn't let my dog bite him but he made my dog turn against me.”

Keenan's patience is over with the stubborn Emma. “Emma do you think I'm stupid, huh? I saw everything, I've been there since the beginning! Remember well what I said earlier! If you don't want to be humiliated then cancel our engagement.” then Keenan raises his car window and drives away leaving Emma standing alone in the silence of the night.

Emma's face was pale in fear and also angry at the fate that befell her. His hands are banging in the air, “Anastasya this is all your fault! I will repay you! I'm gonna destroy you! Damn you woman ******!”

Keenan put his head on the bar, he saw a burly man walking towards him. Keenan straightened his body when he saw the man who turned out to be Kenneth. “Goodnight Mr CEO Archilles. It's hard to meet you.”

Kenneth looked at Keenan expressionlessly. There were four men sitting at the bar table, they were famous young men from wealthy families.
