CHAPTER 94. GREEDINESS

The light of greed on Danendra's face seemed glittering making Anastasya feel disgusted to see the man. Aye! His words are absolutely right. Then Danendra turned his head and gave instructions to the waiter, “Begging the driver to wait in front of the door. I'll go find Young Master Archilles!”

Clarissa hurriedly stopped Danendra and said, “My husband, the problem is not with Young Master Archilles. No matter how great she was, still she had to listen to her parents' words in regards to marriage. We'd better go straight to their family home and see Mrs Archilles.”

Clarissa's mind was filled with plans that she had arranged so neatly. Danendra glanced at his wife with a look of agreement then looked at Anastasya.

“Everything that your appointment says is true. We're doing this for your own good, too. Quickly go change clothes and get ready.” said Danendra full of emphasis.

But if he were to go to the Archilles family home today then he would be the topic of conversation of others for quite a long time. Anastasya is busy with her mission to investigate the truth so she doesn't want too many people to know about her. Now is not the time to reveal his identity.

Anastasya glanced at Clarissa leisurely then the tip of her lips lifted into a smile and said, “Papa, not that I don't want to go but because I don't need to go there!”

“What do you mean? “ asked Danendra confused.

Anastasya sighed and said, “Actually I didn't want to tell you because I'm still considering it.”

Danendra was even more confused, “Consider what?”

“Before I left the hotel today, Young Master Archilles asked me to consider whether I wanted to be his girlfriend.” Anastasya replied timidly.

“What?”

“What?”

Danendra looked so elated but Clarissa looked surprised and displeased to hear that. Then quickly Danendra asked, “Is that what you said Tasya? Young master Archilles said that to you? He asked you?”

While nodding sheepishly Anastasya said, “Yes it's true papa. Things like this I won't use to trick you. If you can't believe it, you can ask Archilles' Young Master. I'll call him now for you.” after you're done talking Anastays gestured to call Kenneth.

“Do-don't!” danendra quickly stopped him. Since Kenneth had already said that then this was a golden opportunity for Anastasya. If he called her and asked about it then it was possible that her golden opportunity would be lost. As a woman, she just needs to be a little quiet so that the man will continue to remember her.

In his heart, Danendra was so happy that he pretended to be angry and said, “You are really a stupid kid! Such an important thing why just say it now? How can there be a secret between a child and his papa?” danendra said that he showed an attitude like a loving and understanding father.

Innocently Anastasya said, “I haven't considered it yet either. I don't know Young Master Archilles very well anyway so it seems a bit too rushed if I directly agree to his request.”
