CHAPTER 65. NOT ACCORDING TO PLAN

Emma glanced at Keenan and realized that her fiance was looking at him even she immediately turned her face away and her expression seemed ordinary. Keenan had no interest in greeting Emma at all. The woman felt hurt by the cold attitude of her fiance and forced a smile. “Ehm. I don't know if Keenan is also here.”

Keenan furrowed his brows unhappily at Emma's remark. “Why would I be here? Can't I be here or don't you feel comfortable seeing me here? Any business do you want to see my friends?” keenan was angry. She hates Emma so much, having seen the cruelty of her fiance at Hilman's house and she doesn't think she wants to do anything to her friends without her knowledge. Truly a fucking and shameless woman! Looks like this woman needs to be taught a lesson!

Emma who saw the expression of anger on Keenan's face only thought that if the man was misunderstood and jealous, she felt very happy in her heart thinking that Keenan still liked her. Although Emma really likes and loves Keenan and always wants to meet him but not at this time. Keenan shouldn't be there so all his plans can go smoothly.

Because Keenan was there, Emma could not act as Keenan's fiancee anymore because all of Keenan's friends must have known about their engagement cancellation. Lau Emma began to consider the words she wanted to say. “It's not like that Keenan. It's not that I'm uncomfortable with you being here but because of the things I want to talk about relating to Young Master Bagaskara and Young Master Archilles.”

Kenneth just sits on the couch staring at Emma expressionlessly and reluctantly speaking so Brandon chooses to start a conversation with Emma. “What do you want to say. No need for a lot of stale bases just say it.” Brandon is the one who hates the most trite and hates people who talk in circles for no apparent purpose and is just a waste of time. Emma immediately realized that the four men were not people who were easy to talk to so she did not want to directly talk to the core of the problem.

“Ehem...so here's the story, today I went to the mall owned by the family and accidentally I saw Kenneth's main assistant with a woman. They look very familiar and friendly, the woman had made a troublemaker in the mall so I tried to approach them to stop her. But I was kicked out of that mall..”.

Kenneth was still with a cold expression as if he was not interested in what Emma said. “You mean, her boyfriend Rian?”

Although Kenneth knows that his assistant Rian is different from other normal men but hearing that Rian has a girlfriend makes him a little calm. Now Rian's mother will no longer worry about the descendants of the Malik family and Rian's mother will not bother him again by pleading to persuade Rian to marry.

“Yes, that woman is Rian's girlfriend. I'm sure Kenneth would know that woman. Her name is Anastasya, daughter of the Hilman family who just returned from the countryside.”

“What?”

“What?”

“What?”

Kenneth, Brandon and Diego exclaimed while standing simultaneously with shocked faces. Keenan who did not know who Anastasya was just looking at his three friends in confusion. Emma was surprised by the reaction of the three men and her eyes looked puzzled.  Why did these three men react like that? Do they like Anastasya the village's hick? Or are they angry about this news?

As soon as Emma finished talking, she saw the four men staring at her intently like a samurai sword ready to split her body but Emma remained kind and looked at Kenneth and Brandon who were looking at her with cold eyes. The two men with different family backgrounds had incredible auras making Emma feel helpless. Emma wished her friend could help her but she saw her cowardly friend kneeling on the floor.

The shocked Emma immediately propped her hands up on the chair behind her and tried to stand up straight so as not to fall. Now he was frightened and confused but soon he gathered the courage to speak. “Mr….Young Master Archilles, is something wrong? I speak the truth and everything I say is true. You guys have to trust me.”

Kenneth squinted his eyes and his gaze grew sharper. His facial expression is hard to interpret. Brandon who was next to Kenneth realized the situation and said, “So you said that Anastasya took your clothes, is that true?”

“Iya right it is like it happened.” replied Emma quickly.

“OK, then just let it go and just give the clothes to her. All the items in my mall are his if he likes it.” Brandon said casually while smiling.

“A--what?” Emma was shocked with eyes wide in disbelief. What the fuck? He didn't hear wrong just now, did he? He really did not expect what had just happened.

“What did you just say?” ask him to convince himself.

Brandon stood up straight while putting both hands in his pants pocket and lightly said, “I told you that all the items in my mall are Anastasya's if she likes it. Anastasya can take whatever he wants without paying for it. No one can take what he likes. Did you intentionally ugly him just now?”

Although Brandon had a handsome face but his facial expression looked ferocious and the killing aura from his body was so strong that it made Emma tremble in fear. ‘Did he have misbehaved by coming to them? His mind was completely muddled a moment after he realized that things were not going according to his plan. How could this happen? He came here to complain and teach Anastasya a lesson but why does it seem Brandon wants to beat him up?

At the same time emma's friend felt sorry for following her. At first he thought that accompanying Emma there would benefit him. If he knew it would be like this, he better go to the drinking event alone! His words that had been thrown would spend one night with Kenneth and other shadows that he had assembled in his mind now did not dare to think again after meeting Kenneth directly. Just looking at that man alone had frightened him.

Emma's friend was seen crying while Emma with better acting skills only trembled briefly and then returned to normal and still put her hope on Kenneth to avenge Anastasya. His overconfidence and high level of shame made him forget the facts.

“Young Master archilles...” Emma soft-spoken trying to act as an elegant woman. “I have absolutely no intention of vilifying Anastasya. All I'm saying is the truth, it's your main assistant who has ruined your reputation out there. Anyway he is your main assistant and you have to arrange for your assistant not to do anything at all.”
