CHAPTER 25. AWARDS SHOW

The show opened with an opening speech from the host followed by the appearance of the guest stars tonight. The first guest to come out was Brian the founder of The World Coffee Institute, the second guest star was a famous coffee master and the third guest star was Kenneth Archilles.

The original founder of The world coffee institute was Anastasya but he had already asked Beian to cover up his identity.

“And lastly, let's welcome our special guest tonight the CEO of Archilless Corp…..Young Master Kenneth Archilles!” exclaim the host with passion. As soon as Kenneth's name was mentioned, the audience applauded and the women cheered as a handsome, tall, burly man appeared. Most of the guests who were present at the event, came just to see Kenneth Archilles.

The awards show tonight is also live and video-recorded, the video footage will be edited and featured on the official blog of The World Coffee Institute. Tonight's event is very interesting because of the emergence of the CEO of Archilles Corp who is known to be handsome plenary. Kenneth walked from the backstage in quiet steps. After arriving at the center of the stage, he bowed in salute to everyone with a cold expression on his face.

Kenneth spread his gaze around the room until his eyes saw someone he knew. His eyes could hardly believe seeing the man. Is that Anastasya? Unknowingly he stared at Anastasya for five seconds, his heart beating faster looking at the girl's appearance tonight. Why does she look so beautiful? Ah...why is he wearing such clothes? She shouldn't be wearing that shirt, she looks more and more beautiful and sexy. Then Kenneth turned his gaze forward and greeted the audience, “Goodnight everyone. I'm Kenneth Archilles.”

The applause from below the stage was more enthusiastic than ever. He glanced back at Anastasya and saw that the girl was just sitting quietly not reacting in the slightest, as if she did not care about Kenneth. Seeing that, Kenneth felt displeased. He saw clearly the curves of Anastasya's body that was formed perfectly because the clothes he wore fit the body.

The host immediately stopped Kenneth who was about to sit down after seeing the response of the enthusiastic audience with his presence. “Young Master, all the guests present tonight are very enthusiastic. Can you say a few more words to them?”

Kenneth almost refused the host's request, but he remembered someone who was there and unknowingly agreed to the host's request.

“Ehem...I am very honored to receive an invitation from The World Coffee Institute to participate in the awards ceremony on this evening. In addition to awarding the award certificate to the winner, I will also announce the Brand Ambassador for Cafe Moonlight after the event is over.”

Natasha who heard Kenneth's words immediately felt happy, her heart skipped a beat and her eyes twinkled. He has convinced himself that this is the peak of life he is waiting for. She will be the Brand Ambassador of Cafe Moonlight which means she will always meet Kenneth. After becoming a Brand Ambassador he was also able to get a role in the latest film Director Galih Saguna. Which means he will easily step into the top socialite circle.

Just imagining that makes Natasha happy. He is the champion of the socialite coffee competition and it is definitely him who will become the Brand Ambassador! The higher his wishful thinking imagined the things he had long wanted.

While on stage------

The host was saying a word of welcome and let Kenneth sit down. Then the host started the core event by calling Brian up on stage.

Brian smiled and turned his gaze towards Anastasya then he looked at the entire room filled with invited guests. “Good night everyone. Now we go to the main event tonight which is the announcement of the results of the competition. I will read the names of the winners of the competition. The winner of the third place is..”.

Brian called the name of the third winner and runner up and gave the prize. Now come to the announcement of the first winner. For a moment the room was silent, then Brian also announced the name of the first winner, “The first voice of the socialite coffee competition is….Miss Natasha Hilman! Congratulations to the first champion!”

Natasha sighed then walked up to the stage excitedly and confidently. A huge applause filled the room. Natasha looks blushed mali when receiving the championship trophy from Brian. The trophy was made of pure gold and was very heavy. Natasha held the trophy tightly, but she felt like she was floating above the clouds.

“Thank you all. I would like to thank Brian and also thank my parents for all their moral support and prayers. I will continue to study and work harder.”

Natasha was too excited so her voice sounded stifled. Then Brian said “We invite CEO Kenneth Archilles to take the stage and announce the Brand Ambassador for Moonlight Cafe.”

Hearing that made Natasha even more excited, the twinkle in her eyes was brighter and her smile was broken.

Kenneth went on stage and took the microphone, “Alright. I don't think it's necessary to linger any longer, allow me to announce Brand Ambassador for Cafe Moonlight.”

Kenneth looked at Anastasya with instens, the corner of his lips lifted then he said “Brand Ambassador for Cafe Moonlight is…...Anastasia Fredelia Sanari's. Miss Anastasya!”

When saying the name Anastasya, a smile on Kenneth's lips. While Natasha who just felt happy and smiling sweetly froze immediately! What the fuck?

Anastacia? What the fuck is this ? Did I not hear wrong? He called Anastasya's name?

The guests looked at each other and were astonished. They wondered who the person who had just been named was. “Who is Anastasya?”

“Why not the first champion to become a brand ambassador?”

“Wah...wah. Cafe Moonlight did not choose the first champion as its brand ambassador!”

“What really happened? Why didn't Cafe Moonlight choose the champion?”

“Is not usually the brand ambassador is the first champion?”

“Iya is absolutely right. If you do not choose the first champion, why not just choose the runner up as a brand ambassador? But who is Anastasya? The name of the runner up and the third champion is not that.”

Clarissa and Danendra who were sitting next to each other could not calm down. The two looked back and looked at Anastasya angrily. Anastasya was confused.

That guy is completely insane! He doesn't make any sense at all! Why did he give me the title of Brand Ambassador Cafe Moonlight?

“Anastasia!” clarissa said with a trembling tone restraining anger. “Fucking basics! What are you planning, huh? Why did you become a stumbling block to your sister? Don't you think your actions hurt your sister so much and humiliated her?” clarissa's eyes bulged. It felt like he was strangling Anastasya back then if no one else was there. The surprised and angry Danendra suddenly changed her facial expression, then she looked at Anastasya with a smile.

Both of them are his daughters, whoever gets that title doesn't matter to him which is important he can still boast of himself. “Tasya, why didn't you say anything to me. It's an amazing and very proud thing, you should have told me from the beginning.”

Anastasya felt her hatred for the man getting bigger. They left him in economics class alone when the three of them were upgraded to business class. The man forgot that he was his daughter too.
